An image analysis apparatus rectifies a first image and a second image to generate a first rectified image and a second rectified image respectively. A first container door in the first rectified image and a second container door in the second rectified image have the same sizes and the same pixel coordinates. The image analysis apparatus divides the first rectified image into a plurality of first blocks and divides the second rectified image into a plurality of second blocks in a same manner. The image analysis apparatus calculates respective correlations between every first block and its corresponding second block. Each of the correlations includes a grayscale correlation and at least one color correlation. The image analysis apparatus determines whether the first container door and the second container door represent the same container door based on the correlations.

A network system includes Internet of Things (IoT) devices, computation server, and gateways. A frequency calibration apparatus and method are provided. An oscillator of the frequency calibration apparatus has an operation frequency. The frequency calibration apparatus receives a plurality of time packets from an NTP server at a plurality of first time points. Each of the time packets records a second time point that the NTP server transmits the time packet. The frequency calibration apparatus calculates an offset for each of the time packets in a subset of all the time packets, calculates a clock skew according to the first time points and the offsets of the time packets in the subset, calculates a difference between the clock skew and a standard frequency value, determines that an absolute value of the difference is greater than a threshold, and adjusts the operation frequency to an initial frequency after determining that the absolute value of the difference is greater than the threshold.

Frequency calibration apparatus and method

A central control device and a load balancing method thereof are provided. The central control device includes a network interface, a storage and a processor. The network interface is connected to a plurality of base stations and receives a load parameter from each base station. The storage stores the load parameters. The processor is electrically connected to the storage and the network interface. For each base station, the processor calculates a load indication according to the load parameter thereof to determine whether the base station is an overloaded base station based on the load indication, and calculates an offload priority indication according to the load indication, a quantity of off-loadable resources of at least one neighboring base station, a first weighting factor and a second weighting factor. The processor determines an offload order of the overloaded base stations according to the offload priority indications.

Central control device and load balancing method thereof

A rendezvous flow control apparatus, method, and non-transitory tangible computer readable medium thereof are provided. The rendezvous flow control apparatus includes a plurality of transceiving interfaces and a processing unit. Each of the transceiving interfaces is individually assigned with a first allocated bandwidth. The transceiving interfaces transmit a first data flow of a network service to a network apparatus by the first allocated bandwidths at a first stage. The transceiving interfaces receive a piece of feedback information from the network apparatus. The processing unit assigns a second allocated bandwidth to each of the transceiving interfaces according to the piece of feedback information. The transceiving interfaces transmit a second data flow of the network service to the network apparatus by the second allocated bandwidths at a second stage.

Rendezvous flow control apparatus, method, and non-transitory tangible computer readable medium

A heterogeneous network system, network apparatus, and rendezvous path selection method thereof are provided. The heterogeneous network system includes partner network apparatuses and a network apparatus. The transceiving interfaces of the network apparatus and the partner network apparatuses are not all the same. The network apparatus measures at least one first transmission parameter and receives a plurality of second transmission parameters. Each of the at least one first transmission parameter is associated with transmission from the network apparatus to one of its neighboring network apparatuses. Each of the second transmission parameters is associated with transmission between two network apparatuses neighboring each other. The network apparatus enumerates a plurality of paths from itself to a target network apparatus and calculates a path cost for each of the paths according to at least a portion of a combination of the at least one first transmission parameter and the second transmission parameters.

A coverage hole detection apparatus and method are provided. The coverage hole detection apparatus decides two boundary locations of a coverage hole according to (a) a time length from a time point when a user equipment (UE) has detected a disconnection from a first base station to a time point when the UE determines that a Radio Link Failure (RLF) has happened, (b) a time length from a time point when the UE receives an RLF report request from a second base station to a time point when the UE transmits an RLF report response to the second base station, (c) a location that the UE determines that the RLF has happened, and (d) a location where the UE transmits the RLF report response. The coverage hole detection apparatus decides the coverage hole according to the two boundary locations and a sensitivity range of the UE.

An apparatus and method for deciding an offload list for a heavily loaded base station are provided. The heavily loaded base station serves a plurality of user equipments. A part of the user equipments are candidate user equipments, wherein a connection quality parameter of each of the candidate user equipments is smaller than a threshold. Each of the candidate user equipments has an offload utility value and a service level agreement degree. The apparatus selects one of the candidate user equipments as a selected user equipment according to the offload utility values. The apparatus decides to add an identity of the selected user equipment into the offload list according to at least the service level agreement degree of the selected user equipment and a load of a target base station of the selected user equipment.

A femto access point (FAP) for use in a network system and a communication method for the femto access point are provided. A mobile station is wirelessly connected to the FAP. The FAP comprises a storage unit, a sniffer unit, and a process unit. The sniffer unit sniffs a packet of the mobile station. The process unit retrieves an identity (ID) code of the mobile station from the packet and stores the ID code into the storage unit. The process unit further establishes an uplink local area network (LAN) service flow and a downlink LAN service flow of the mobile station. The uplink LAN service flow and the downlink LAN service flow established by the FAP and the mobile station are used to transfer packets within the LAN.

The path status parameters are used to calculate path priorities. The path priorities are used to determine an assignment ratio. The assignment ratio is used to assign network paths to transmit a packet, whereby the problem that the heterogeneous network apparatus of the prior art cannot utilize different network interfaces effectively at the same time is solved.

A portable computer includes a central processing unit, a monitor unit laying on and pivoted to the central processing unit, and a hard disk drive unit fitted in the storage chamber of the central processing unit. The storage chamber has a bottom wall and a side wall assembly which has two locking holes. The hard disk drive unit includes a housing, two insertion elements mounted movably in the housing, a rotary actuating unit mounted pivotally on the central processing unit, and a spring unit which biases the insertion elements to extend from the housing to engage within the locking holes of the storage chamber so as to retain the hard disk drive unit in the storage chamber. When the rotary actuating unit is turned upward, the insertion elements retract into the housing, thereby enabling the hard disk drive unit to be removed from the central processing unit.
