Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may select one or more additional resources in a dynamic resource region for a second set of communications to a second UE, the one or more additional resources being in addition to one or more resources in a semi-static resource region for a first set of communications to the second UE. The UE may transmit, to the second UE, a request that the one or more additional resources be reserved for the second set of communications to the second UE. Numerous other aspects are described.

Dynamic resources for sidelink communication

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects more specifically relate to sidelink communications and PSFCH padding. In some aspects, a channel occupancy time (COT) initiating UE may obtain physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) information indicating that a PSFCH transmission is to occupy a common interlace and one or more physical resource blocks. The COT initiating UE may communicate a padding signal within a PSFCH gap of the common interlace in accordance with identifying that the COT initiating UE and the responding UE are not to transmit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback within the PSFCH gap of the common interlace. In some other aspects, the PSFCH information may indicate that the PSFCH transmission is to occupy a dedicated interlace, and the COT initiating UE may communicate a padding signal on a PSFCH resource within the dedicated interlace.

Physical sidelink feedback channel padding

A method of wireless communication performed by a first user equipment (UE) comprises transmitting, in a first channel occupancy time (COT), a first sidelink (SL) data communication in a first RB-set to a second UE, and a second SL data communication in a second RB-set to a third UE. The method further includes receiving, from the second UE in the first COT: a first SL feedback communication in the first RB-set; and a repetition of the first SL feedback communication in the second RB-set. The method further includes transmitting, to the second UE in the first COT after the receiving the first SL feedback communication, a third SL data communication in the first RB-set, and transmitting, to the third UE in the first COT after receiving the repetition of the first SL feedback communication, a fourth SL data communication in the second RB-set.

Physical sidelink feedback channel transmissions for wideband transmission opportunities in shared frequency bands

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to transmit feedback information via a configurable quantity of interlaced resource blocks (IRBs) in one or more interlaces of a sidelink feedback channel. For example, the UE may transmit feedback via multiple IRBs of an interlace. The UE may determine which IRBs to use in accordance with a configuration, which may indicate a quantity of IRBs, a distribution of the IRBs, a pattern of the IRBs, or any combination thereof. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine to transmit feedback via multiple IRBs of an interlace that is different from a common interlace.

Sidelink feedback for increased capacity

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit communications on a plurality of physical sidelink channels with a plurality of beams for a plurality of subchannels. Systems, devices, and methods for mapping wideband sidelink (SL) resources to SL feedback resources are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) comprises: receiving, based on at least a first interlace of resource blocks (RBs) and based on two or more RB-sets of a shared frequency band, a SL communication; and transmitting, using at least a second interlace of RBs and using resources from at least one RB-set of the two or more RB-sets of the shared frequency band, a SL feedback communication for the SL communication. In some aspects, the transmitting the SL feedback communication is based on a mapping of the two or more RB-sets to the at least one RB-set.

Interlaced physical sidelink feedback channel mapping for wideband sidelink transmissions

Wireless communications systems and methods related to stand-alone sidelink communication are provided. A first user equipment (UE) determines system parameter information to initiate a sidelink communication. The first UE transmits, in one or more first subbands of a plurality of subbands within a shared radio frequency during a first time period, the system parameter information. The first UE communicates, with a second UE in a second subband of the plurality of subbands during a second time period different from the first time period, sidelink data based on the system parameter information.

Multiplexing physical sidelink feedback channels in sidelink communication

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a transmitting device associated with one or more non-coherent demodulation reference signal ports may transmit data including a phase change estimation reference signal with multiple reference signal groups. In some examples, multiple different phase change estimation reference signal ports may be code-division multiplexed to transmit the phase change estimation reference signal in the same set of reference signal groups using a different orthogonal cover code for each phase change estimation reference signal port. In some other examples, the different phase change estimation reference signal ports may be used for transmitting the phase change estimation reference signal in the different time-division multiplexed sets of reference signal groups. In such cases, by assigning two phase change estimation reference signal ports to two TDM sets, the two phase change estimation reference signal ports may be time-division multiplexed.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for distance-based channel occupancy time (COT) sharing. In one aspect, a first device, such as a user equipment (UE), may determine an approximate distance between itself and a second device. The first device may receive a COT sharing configuration including a set of COT sharing parameters for sharing a COT of the communications link with the second device based on the distance between the two devices. The first device may determine conditions for sharing the COT based on the COT sharing configuration and the approximate distance between the two devices. Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating ACK/NACK feedbacks for multi-user and unicast physical down-link shared channel (PDSCH) communications are provided. A UE may receive a multi-user PDSCH communication including a first transport block (TB) for the UE and may receive a unicast PDSCH communication including a second TB for the UE. The UE may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook for the first TB associated with the multi-user PDSCH communication and the second TB associated with the unicast PDSCH communication. The UE may transmit a first acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) feedback for the first TB and a second ACK/NACK feedback for the second TB based on the determined HARQ codebook.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to a user equipment (UE) for establishing a sidelink communication channel and receive mapped channel state information-reference signals (CSI-RS) over a plurality of PSSCH resource blocks. The mapped CSI-RS may be interlaced with resource elements in at least a portion of the plurality of PSSCH resource blocks.
