A 3-dimensional (3D) integrated circuit (IC) is provided. The 3D IC includes a plurality of chips, at least one through silicon via (TSV) structure, and a temperature sensor. The chips are stacked in the 3D IC. The TSV structure penetrates the chips. The temperature sensor is disposed in a first chip of the chips. The temperature sensor is disposed close to the TSV structure, and is configure to sense a temperature sensing result corresponding to a temperature of the TSV structure.

Three-dimensional integrated circuit

A media streaming device includes a power manager, a stream processor, and a voltage detector. The power manager receives a power signal from the media playback device to supply power to the stream processor. The stream processor provides media stream to the media playback device for playback. The voltage detector is electrically coupled to the stream processor and captures at least a part of the power supply current to the stream processor. The stream processor is configured to determine whether the power supply voltage remains stable. When the supply voltage remains stable, the stream processor operates in a first mode to provide media stream. When the power supply voltage is unstable, the stream processor operates in a second mode to provide media stream, and the power consumption of the stream processor in the second mode is lower than the power consumption in the first mode.

Media streaming device and media streaming method

A slim-type gas transportation device includes a slim-type gas pump and a slim-type valve structure. The slim-type valve structure includes a first thin plate, a valve frame, a valve plate and a second thin plate. The first thin plate has a hollow portion. The valve plate is disposed within an accommodation space of the valve frame. The valve plate includes a valve opening. The valve opening is not aligned with the hollow portion. The second thin plate includes a gas outlet surface, a pressure relief surface, a gas outlet groove, an outlet aperture, a pressure relief hole and a pressure relief trench. The outlet aperture is hollowed out from the gas outlet groove to the pressure relief surface and corresponding in position to the valve opening. The pressure relief hole is spaced apart from the gas outlet groove. The pressure relief trench is concavely formed from the pressure relief surface.

Slim-type gas transportation device

An actuating and sensing module includes a first substrate, a second substrate, an actuating device and a sensor. A gas flow channel is formed by stacking the first substrate and the second substrate. The gas inlet, the gas flow channel and the gas outlet are in communication with each other to define a gas flow loop. The actuating device is disposed in the gas inlet of the second substrate and electrically connected to a control circuit to obtain a driving power. The sensor is disposed in the gas flow loop and electrically connected to a control circuit of the first substrate to transmit sensed data. While the actuating device drives outside gas from the outside, the gas is transported into the gas flow loop and sensed by the sensor.

Actuating and sensing module

A miniature fluid control device is provided and includes a gas inlet plate, a resonance plate and a piezoelectric actuator. The resonance plate is assembled and combined with the gas inlet plate. The piezoelectric actuator is assembled and combined with the resonance plate. The piezoelectric actuator includes a suspension plate, an outer frame, at least one bracket and a piezoelectric plate. The suspension plate has a first surface and a second surface. The outer frame is arranged around the suspension plate and has an assembling surface. The piezoelectric plate is attached on the second surface. The at least one bracket is formed between the suspension plate and the outer frame as making the first surface of the suspension plate non-coplanar with the assembling surface of the outer frame, so that a specific chamber spacing is maintained between the first surface of the suspension plate and the resonance plate.

Miniature fluid control device

An optical disc includes a round opening at the center of the optical disc, an annular recording section configured to record information, an annular supporting section between the round opening and the annular recording section and configured to support the optical disc, and a spoiler provided on a non-read/write side of the annular recording section and configured to disturb the flow field inside the optical disc drive when the optical disc is rotating, the spoiler having a centerline average roughness between 2 &#x3bc;m and 10 &#x3bc;m, a thickness between 0.02 mm and 0.05 mm, an area occupying at least 5% of the non-read/write side. The flow field so disturbed changes from a laminar state to a turbulent state and thus the read/write characteristics of the disc is improved due to lower air resistance experienced by the rotating disc.

Optical disc having gas flow spoiler and the method for fabricating the same

A transmission convergence sublayer circuit is coupled between a buffer and a deframer. The deframer submits a data stream enable signal and data bytes to the circuit. The data stream enable signal enables the circuit so that multiple groups of byte data belonging to a data cell are received and temporarily stored inside a byte-wise data pipeline. A header cyclic redundancy checker also receives the byte data and then conducts a header search. An idle cell identifier is used to determine if the data cell is a non-idle cell. When the header is found and determined to be a non-idle cell, a descrambler retrieves payload data of data cell from the byte-wise data pipeline and conducts a descrambling operation after obtaining a quantity of data equal to a double word. Ultimately, the double word data is output to the buffer with minimum delay.

The present invention discloses a case for containing a disk cartridge, in which the disk cartridge is inherently provided with at least one recess formed on a bottom surface thereof, the case comprising an upper case member, a lower case member, a pivoting mechanism, a fastening mechanism and cartridge retaining means. The cartridge retaining means have at least one arm resiliently biasing upward, the at least one arm have two opposing ends with one end thereof extending from the bottom plate of the lower case member and the other end provided with a protrusion. When the disk cartridge is completely inserted into the chamber of the case, the protrusion is adapted to be allocated in the recess formed on the bottom surface of the disk cartridge, whereby securely positioning the disk cartridge in the case.
