A touch and/or display panel with minimal border area includes a first substrate with first and second opposite surfaces. The panel further comprises a film on the first surface and bent to the second surface, the film is flexible and wires are patterned into the film. The film comprises first and second ends, the first end is located on the first surface, and the second end is located on the second surface and a chip is formed on the second end. A method for making the panel is also disclosed.

Panel and method for manufacturing panel with minimal border area

A method for manufacturing a display panel is provided. A plurality of first spacers and a first frame are formed on a first transfer base, and a plurality of second spacers and a second frame are formed on a second transfer base. A first substrate and a second substrate are respectively attached to the first transfer base and the second transfer base to form a first substrate combination and a second substrate combination respectively. A TFT array is formed on a surface of the first substrate, and a color filter layer is formed on a surface of the second substrate. The first substrate combination is reversed to be attached to the second substrate combination. Air paths are formed on the first frame and the second frame for peeling the first transfer base and the second transfer base, thus the display panel is removed after the peeling operation.

Display panel manufacturing method

A method of fabricating an array of structures sensitive to ESD is disclosed. First, an array of structures is provided on a substrate, with the structures conductively coupled by interconnections. Thereafter, the interconnections are removed before fabricating another array of structures. Therefore, the structures have equal potential. Further, an electrostatic discharge structure is provided near the periphery of the substrates.

Method of an array of structures sensitive to ESD and structure made therefrom

A planar fluorescent lamp having a first panel, a second panel, a glass rim, a venting tube, and a set of electrodes. Fluorescent layers are formed on both the first panel and the second panel. The glass rim is mounted on edges of the first and second panels. A recess and a gap are formed in the glass rim; the recess is used for placing the electrodes while the gap is reserved for installing the venting tube. The first panel, the second panel, and the glass rim are so arranged so that a cavity is formed thereby. The cavity is vacuumed via the venting tube and mercury vapor and inert gas are then introduced into the cavity.

Planar fluorescent lamp having particular electrode structure

The cold cathode fluorescent flat lamp includes an enclosure chamber sealed by two reciprocally parallel plates of glass and containing a gas therein, an anode and a cathode disposed in the enclosure chamber, wherein the cathode is parallel to the anode, an auxiliary anode disposed between the anode and the cathode and being parallel to the cathode, wherein the auxiliary anode is attached to a surface of either plates of glass, and a printed circuit board for providing a voltage for the anode and the cathode.

Cold cathode fluorescent flat lamp

A fluorescent lamp module structure includes a Cold Cathode Flat Fluorescent Lamp (CCFFL) and a combine metallic housing for containing and positioning the CCFFL. The CCFFL is a rectangular box with a certain thickness including a 1 side, a 2 side, a 3 side and a 4 side. The 1 side includes a 1 end with a 1 electrode, a 2 end with a 2 electrode and a middle section with a exhaust tube. Moreover, the combined metallic housing is composed of a plurality of metallic housing portions cut from an integrated metallic housing. The integrated metallic housing is composed of a base plate and a plurality of upright pieces bent upward at a right angle to the base plate, and having height close to the thickness of CCFFL. Furthermore, the plurality of metallic housing portions is formed by a plurality of base plate areas, adjacent to one another, cut from the base plate of the integrated metallic housing.
