A keyswitch structure includes a base plate, a keycap, and a keycap support mechanism. The keycap support mechanism is connected to and between the base plate and the keycap. The keycap is movable relative to the base plate through the keycap support mechanism. The keycap support mechanism includes an inner support and an outer support. The outer support and the inner support are pivotally connected with each other around a rotation axis. The outer support includes two outer frame portions and a central frame. The central frame is located between the two outer frame portions in a direction parallel to the rotation axis. Therein, in the case where the inner support is stacked on the outer support, the inner support is located inside the outer support and straddles the central frame.

Keyswitch structure and keycap supporting mechanism thereof

A keyswitch structure includes a base, a keycap, a first support, a second support, and a connection structure. The keycap moves up and down relative to the base through the first support and the second support. The connection structure is disposed on the base and includes a vertical-motion limiting part and a horizontal-motion limiting part. The first support includes a rod-shaped connection portion and is connected to the connection structure through the rod-shaped connection portion. The vertical-motion limiting part prevents the rod-shaped connection portion from vertically moving. The horizontal-motion limiting part limits the horizontal movement of the rod-shaped connection portion. The vertical-motion limiting part and the horizontal-motion limiting part are separated in the rotation axis of the rod-shaped connection portion.

Keyswitch structure

A keyswitch structure includes a keycap, a base plate, a first support, and a second support. The first support and the second support are pivotally connected with each other and are connected to and between the keycap and the base plate. The first support includes a shaft socket, a shaft portion, and a protruding interference portion which are adjacently arranged. Correspondingly, the second support includes a shaft portion, a shaft socket, and a recess interference portion which are adjacently arranged. The recess interference portion has a relief space and a block beside the relief space. The first support and the second support are pivotally connected by engaging the shaft sockets with the corresponding shaft portions; therein, the protruding interference portion is located in the relief space, and the block obstructs the protruding interference portion moving out of the relief space.

An illuminated keyswitch includes a base, a keycap, a lift mechanism, and a light source. The keycap includes a cap body and a light guiding rod. The lift mechanism is connected to between the light guiding rod and the base, such that the keycap can vertically move relative to the base through the lift mechanism. The light source is disposed between the light guiding rod and the base and emits light toward the light guiding rod. The light enters the light guiding rod through an end portion of the light guiding rod and then emits out the light guiding rod from another end portion of the light guiding rod and a side surface adjacent to the another end portion toward the cap body. Thereby, the whole cap body can receives relatively uniform back light.

Illuminated keyswitch

A keyswitch uses a combination of springs connected in serial for providing a return force to a keycap of the keyswitch. When the keycap moves toward a base of the keyswitch beyond a transition position, one of the springs stops continuously deforming. It leads to an increment of the elastic coefficient of the combination of springs and an increment of the elastic stored energy by the combination of springs. Therefore, during a pressing on the keycap, the keycap can provide a light force feedback and then a heavy force feedback to a user. Further, the keyswitch can use a switch with a lateral motion, which can reduce influence of a resilient force produced by the switch on the up and down movement of the keycap. The keyswitch also can use an elastic piece disposed beside the keycap, which can provide a tactile feedback to the user.

Keyswitch

A magnetic keyswitch includes a base, a keycap, a curved supporter, a bracket and a second magnetic portion. The keycap moves relative to the base upwardly and downwardly. The curved supporter is disposed between the keycap and the base and has a first end and a second end. A first magnetic portion is disposed on the first end. The bracket slides relative to the base and is switched between a first position and a second position. The second magnetic portion is disposed on the bracket. An attractive force is generated between the second magnetic portion and the first end when the bracket is located at the first position, so that the second end supports the keycap at a first height. The attractive force is removed when the bracket moves to the second position, and the keycap is descended to a second height by an external force.

Magnetic keyswitch and related keyboard

A keyswitch and a keyboard are provided. A top plate of a keycap of the keyswitch, for being pressed and decoration, and a frame including groove bodies, for linking with a supporting mechanism, are separated into two components such that the top plate may be implemented as a plate structure with much thinner thickness while maintaining its strength, and the frame with the groove bodies is attached to the top plate via insert molding or adhering. The frame and the top plate form the keycap, in which the groove bodies at the frame and the top plate form sliding slots or engaging slots in cooperation with the supporting mechanism. The thickness of the keycap can be substantially reduced and meanwhile maintain the necessary stroke of the keyswitch and the strength of the keycap. The keyboard having the keyswitches is made possible for further miniaturized with thinner thickness.

Keyswitch and keyboard

The invention provides a light guiding plate. The light guiding plate is transparent and applied to an input apparatus. A surface of the light guiding plate comprises a first region and a second region. The first region is covered by a non-transparent material. If a light is emitted into the light guiding plate, the light can be emitted out from the second region.

Input apparatus and light guiding plate thereof

The invention provides a keyswitch. The keyswitch comprises a keycap, an adhesive layer, an electroplated layer, and a protecting layer. The adhesive layer has at least one color and covers the keycap. The electroplated layer covers the adhesive layer. After a part of the protecting layer and the electroplate layer is removed, a cave is formed on the keyswitch surface to show the at least one color.

Input apparatus and keyswitch

The invention discloses a keyswitch including a keycap, a base plate, and a support frame. The keycap includes an engagement part, and the base plate includes a slide part. The support frame is between the keycap and the base plate and includes a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the engagement part of the keycap, and the second end slides in the slide part of the base plate. The engagement part includes a first concave part and a second concave part, and a radial dimension of the first concave part is different from a radial dimension of the second concave part. The first end of the support frame includes a first protrusion part and a second protrusion part, and a radial dimension of the first protrusion part is different from a radial dimension of the second protrusion part. The first protrusion part and the second protrusion part respectively are engaged with the first concave part and the second concave part respectively.

Keyboard and keyswitch

The invention discloses a key structure including a keycap, a base plate, and a support member. The keycap includes a slide part; the base plate includes an engagement part; the support member includes a first end and a second end for engaging the keycap and the base plate. The first end slides on the slide part, and the second end is engaged to the engagement part. Therein, the second end thereon defines a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The first and second directions are substantially parallel to the base plate. The engagement part restrains the second end from sliding along the first direction. The second end includes two block parts. The block parts are deposited on two sides of the engagement part for restraining the second end from sliding along the second direction.

Key structure

A keyboard includes a keycap, a pivot structure, a base and an X-structure. The keycap includes a bottom surface, a first edge and a second edge. The pivot structure includes two first engaging portions and two second engaging portions. The first engaging portions are disposed on the bottom surface and have a first distance away from the first edge. The second engaging portions are respectively disposed corresponding to the first engaging portions and have a second distance away from the second edge. The base is disposed under the keycap. One end of the X-structure is connected to the pivot structure of the keycap and the other end of the X-structure is movably connected to the base, thus, the keycap moves upward and downward corresponding to the base.

Keyboard

The invention discloses a key structure comprising a keycap, a base plate, and a support member. The keycap comprises a slide part; the base plate comprises an engagement part; the support member comprises a slide end and an engagement end, and the support member is used for engaging the keycap and the base plate. The slide end slides along the slide part, and the engagement end is engaged to the engagement part. Therein, the slide end comprises a connection part, and the connection part comprises at least one concave part or at least one hole.
