An LED lamp includes a heat sink including a base having a heat-dissipating face, an LED module including a printed circuit board mounted on the base and a plurality of LEDs disposed on the printed circuit board, and a connecter electrically connecting the LED module to a power supply. The heat sink further includes a plurality of spiral fins protruding outwardly from the heat-dissipating face of the base.

LED lamp

An illuminating brick includes a block and at least one light-emitting element mounted in the brick. The brick has a top face, a bottom face and a plurality of lateral side surfaces interconnecting the top and bottom faces. The at least one light-emitting element is engaged in and optically coupled to at least one of the bottom face and lateral side surfaces. The lateral side surfaces and the bottom face are configured for reflecting and directing light emitted from the at least a light-emitting element to exit through the top face.

A planar illumination device includes at least one light source, a housing structure, at least one light guide plate, and at least one light exiting surface. The at least one light source is received in the housing structure. The housing structure includes at least one light emitting surface through which the light emitted from the at least one light source exits the at least one housing. The at least one light guide plate includes at least one light incidence surface through which the light enters into the at least one light guide plate, and contacts with the at least one light emitting surface. The light exits the at least one light guide plate through the at least one light exiting surface. The at least one light exiting surface includes a plurality of continuously connected bulge points formed thereon.

Planar illumination device

An illumination device includes a light-pervious substrate, a solid-state light source and at least one solar cell. The substrate has a bottom surface, a light incident surface adjacent to the bottom surface, and a light emitting surface opposite to the bottom surface. The solid-state light source is arranged on the light incident surface for emitting light into the substrate through the light incident surface. The at least one solar cell is arranged on the bottom surface of the substrate to absorb and convert solar energy into electric energy and supply the electric energy to the solid-state light source.

Illumination device

An illumination device includes at least one solid-state light source, a thermoelectric cooler, a heat dissipation device and a first metal film. The thermoelectric cooler has a cold end and a hot end, and the cold end thermally contacts the solid-state light source. The heat dissipation device thermally contacts the hot end of the thermoelectric cooler. The first metal film is formed on the hot end of the thermoelectric cooler and is sandwiched between the heat dissipation device and the hot end of the thermoelectric cooler.

A light emitting diode (LED) illumination device () includes an LED (), a frustum-shaped light guide member () and a light diffusing plate (). The frustum-shaped light guide member () has a light input surface () and a light output surface () opposite to the light input surface (). The light guide member () tapers from the light output surface () to the light input surface (). The light input surface () is optically coupled to the LED (), and the light diffusing plate () is optically coupled to the light output surface () of the light guide member ().

Light emitting diode illuminating device

An exemplary outdoor lighting apparatus includes a lighting device and a bird expeller. The lighting device includes a supporting pole, a housing and a light emitting unit. The housing is fixed on the top of the supporting pole. The light emitting unit is received in the housing. The bird expeller includes a sensing unit and an expelling signal generating unit. The sensing unit is configured for sensing a bird that is getting close by or in contact with the lighting device, generating a trigger signal and sending the trigger signal to the expelling signal generating unit. The expelling signal generating unit is configured for generating an expelling signal to expel the bird in response to the trigger signal.

Outdoor lighting apparatus

An exemplary semiconductor solid-state light-source module includes a printed circuit board, at least one semiconductor solid state light source mounted on the printed circuit board and a light guide plate optically coupled to the semiconductor solid state light source. The printed circuit board includes a protrusion and a recess. The protrusion is configured for engaging with a recess of the printed circuit board of another similar semiconductor solid-state light-source module.
