A present liquid crystal display includes three frames, two side fasten trellises, and a plurality of tenons used to fasten the three frames and the two side fasten trellises. Each frame has a plurality of clips. The clips of at least one frame have at least one fasten component. Each side fasten trellis has grooves and second fasten portions. The tenons snap into the grooves and conjunct with the clips to assemble the three frames and the side fasten trellises, the fasten component coordinates with the second fasten portion.

An exemplary liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, and a one-piece frame accommodating the liquid crystal panel. The frame includes a surrounding wall defining a notch in the surrounding wall, a supporting board extending inward from an inner surface of the surrounding wall, and a fixing member received in the notch. The surrounding wall and the supporting board cooperatively define a space for accommodating the liquid crystal panel. The fixing member is inclined toward the space in a free state, and is outwardly pressed by application of an external force in a direction away from the space to allow the liquid crystal panel to be placed in the space and on the supporting board, and elastically holds the liquid crystal panel in position against the supporting board after releasing of the external force.

An exemplary backlight module () includes a light guide plate (), a first light source () and a second light source (). The first light source includes first light emitting diodes () and first reflective members (). The second light source includes second light emitting diodes () and second reflective members (). The light guide plate includes a first light incident surface () and a second light incident surface () opposite to the first light incident surface. The first light source and the second light source are provided adjacent to the first light incident surface and the second light incident surface, respectively. The first light emitting diodes face the second reflective members, and the second light emitting diodes face the first reflective members.

Each linear lamp includes a main body () and two electrodes () extending respectively from two opposite ends of the main body. An exemplary backlight module includes a back plate, a side bar received in the back plate, and an optical film assembly received in the back plate. The side bar includes a main body and an elastic member extending from the main body. The elastic member and the main body cooperatively define a receiving groove therebetween. The optical film assembly is received in the back plate, and has an edge portion elastically received in the receiving groove. A liquid crystal display employing the backlight module is also provided.

In an exemplary embodiment, a backlight module () includes a frame (), a diffuser () and a supporting member (). The frame includes a bottom plate (). The diffuser is accommodated in the frame opposite to the bottom plate. The supporting member includes a supporting bar (), a blocker () and at least one elastic arm (). The supporting bar supports the diffuser. The blocker extends from an end of the supporting bar. Each elastic arm extends from the supporting bar. The blocker elastically abuts against an outer surface of the bottom plate. Each elastic arm has one end abutting a bottom of the frame at an inner surface of the bottom plate. A liquid crystal display () employing the backlight module is also provided.

A direct backlight module comprises a first frame, at least two light sources, and a back board. The back board is fixed to the first frame and comprises at least two back slices connected to each other. Each of the at least back slices slips out from the back board.

An exemplary liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, and a one-piece frame accommodating the liquid crystal panel. The frame includes a plurality of side walls arranged end to end, a supporting board extending inward from inner surfaces of the side walls, and at least two liquid crystal panel fixing members. The supporting board abuts the liquid crystal panel. The at least two liquid crystal panel fixing members press at least one respective lateral side of the liquid crystal panel such that the liquid crystal panel is pressed slightly toward the supporting board.

An exemplary backlight module includes a frame and an illuminator support apparatus. The frame defines a through hole therein, and the through hole includes an assembly hole and a location hole communicating with each other. The illuminator support apparatus includes a base and a neck. The base remains fixed to the frame through the location hole. The neck is configured to be slidable from the assembly hole to the location hole and secured to the frame after the supporting body is snugly rotated. A liquid crystal display employing the backlight module is also provided.

An exemplary backlight module includes a light source and a light guide plate. The light guide plate includes a light incident surface positioned for receiving light beams from the light source, a bottom surface adjacent to the light incident surface, reflective structures provided on the bottom surface, and a light emitting surface configured for emission of the light beams. Each of the reflective structures partially overlaps corresponding adjacent reflective structures at one side, and is partially overlapped by corresponding adjacent reflective structures at an opposite side. A liquid crystal display including the backlight module is also provided.

The light guide structures are configured for guiding color light beams emitted from the light sources to the mixing body. An exemplary backlight module () includes a light guide plate () having a light incident surface (), and a light source assembly () provided adjacent to the light incident surface of the light guide plate. The light source assembly includes a light source () and a light reflector (). The light source includes a first portion and a second portion. A brightness of light emitted from the first portion is less than that of light emitted from the second portion. The light reflector is configured for reflecting light beams emitted from the light source toward the light incident surface of the light guide plate. The light reflector includes a first region () corresponding to the first portion of the light source and a second region () corresponding to the second portion of the light source. A reflection capability of the first region is greater than that of the second region.
