A novel driving method targeting area color organic light emitting diode display devices aims at resolving the problems of poor color balance and uneven luminosity on the display panel resulting from different luminous materials.

Method for generating uniform luminosity for area color organic light emitting diode

A method for generating an uniform luminosity for displaying contents on an organic light emitting diode display device that include a plurality of pictures and a plurality of pixels has a driver circuit in the display device to light the pictures and pixels. The method includes: (A) setting a unit time which is the time of the driver chip to scan every pixel; (B) calculating the multiple of the area of every picture; (C) obtaining the multiple of the maximum area; and (D) calculating the multiple of the area of every picture according to step (B).

Method for generating uniform luminosity for displaying contents of organic light emitting diode

A shift register includes at least one stage circuit that has at least three voltage control switches, a storage element, and a first clock signal, a second clock signal and a third clock signal to control various switches. Input signals are stored in the capacitor and sequentially transferred to the next stage. During transferring to the next stage, pixel switches of one row on the panel display are activated to receive information delivered from the data end for displaying on the pixels. The clock signals have the characteristics that the first clock signal, second clock signal and third clock signal are not at the same certain potential concurrently to prevent the switches of each stage (the second and third switches) from forming a DC path and burning out.

Shift registers

A digital driving method and apparatus for active matrix organic light emitting diode mainly includes a plurality of pixel structures. Program display separated driving scheme is achieved by controlling the electric potential of the supply line. During the image data program period, the electric potential of the supply line is held at zero potential (GND) to disable the OLED from lighting. When to display the image data, the supply line is connected to a positive electric potential to allow the OLED to light.
