An electronic paper device includes a touch cover plate module, a front lighting module and an electronic paper display module. The touch cover plate module has a top plate, a touch sensor and a bottom plate. The top plate is disposed with a black bezel. The bottom plate is disposed with a transparent conductive film with a low refractive index. The front lighting module has a light guide plate. An outer edge portion of the light guide plate is disposed with a point light source. The point light source emits light from a side of the light guide plate to convert the emitted light into a surface light source. An upper surface of the light guide plate is attached on the transparent conductive film to form a total reflection interface on the light guide plate and an electromagnetic mask layer between the touch sensor and the electronic paper display module.

Touch-type electronic paper device with a front lighting structure

A lighting structure includes a surface cover plate, a lighting module, a light adjustment layer, an optical adhesive layer and an electronic paper display module. The surface cover plate has a visible area and a black bezel. The lighting module has a light guide plate and point light sources. The light adjustment layer has an optical thinning region and a frame-shaped adhesive. The optical thinning region is less than the light guide plate in refractive index. The surface cover plate and the lighting module are adhered by the frame-shaped adhesive. The optical thinning region is disposed on an upper surface of the light guide plate. The optical adhesive layer has a refractive index equal to or greater than a refractive index of the light guide plate. The electronic paper display module is disposed under the lighting module.

Front lighting structure of electronic paper display

A touch electronic paper display device includes an electronic paper display module, a lighting module, a touch sensing unit and a cover plate. The lighting module is disposed on the electronic paper display module and adhered to the electronic paper display module with a UV-curing solid optical clear adhesive. The lighting module includes a light strip and a light guide plate whose one side is adjacent to the light strip. The touch sensing unit is located on the lighting module. The cover plate is located on the touch sensing unit. A top surface of the cover plate is disposed with a UV-reflecting coating, and a periphery of a bottom surface thereof is disposed with a decorative bezel formed by an opaque or low light transmittance material.

Self-illuminating touch electronic paper display device

A touch sensor includes a substrate, a first touch conductive layer (TCL), a first auxiliary conductive layer (ACL), a second touch conductive layer, and a second auxiliary conductive layer. The first TCL has a first touch conductive trail pattern (TCTP). The first ACL has a lower sheet resistance than the first TCL and a first auxiliary conductive trail pattern (ACTP). The second TCL has a second TCTP. The second ACL has a lower sheet resistance than the second touch conductive layer and a second ACTP. The first and second TCTPs and the first and second ACTPs jointly constitute a touch sensor.

Touch sensor with auxiliary conductive unit on transparent electrode

A glass structure includes a glass substrate, a first sensing layer, a second sensing layer, a signal wire layer and an insulative layer. Each of the two sensing layers is formed by a metal oxide conductive film electrically connected onto a metal mesh and has sensing columns and isolation columns which insulatively separate the sensing columns. An end of each of the sensing columns is provided with a contact connected to the signal wire layer. Conductive material of each isolation column is divided into disconnected insulative areas. The insulative layer is adhesively disposed between the first and second sensing layers. The sensing columns of the first sensing layers are orthogonal to the second sensing columns on the second sensing layer to constitute a capacitive sensing unit array.

Capacitive touch glass structure

The method includes the steps of: a) dividing a large-scale touch sensing pattern to be manufactured into multiple divisional patterns and producing multiple photomasks corresponding to the multiple divisional patterns; b) providing a substrate with a conductive layer; c) disposing a photoresist layer on the conductive layer; d) a first exposure process: forming an exposing divisional pattern and multiple first targets the photoresist layer; e) an adjacent exposure process: forming an adjacent exposing divisional pattern and multiple second targets, and adjacently connecting the adjacent exposing divisional pattern and the exposing divisional pattern originally on the photoresist layer; f) repeating the adjacent exposure process to form multiple adjacent exposing divisional patterns until a complete exposing pattern has been assembled; g) performing a developing process to the photoresist layer; and h) etching the conductive layer to form the large-scale touch sensing pattern on the conductive layer.

Method for manufacturing large-scale touch sensing pattern

A method for manufacturing a touch sensor includes the steps of: a) forming both a first touch conductive trail pattern (TCTP) and a first auxiliary conductive trail pattern (ACTP) on a first side of a dielectric substrate; and b) forming both a second TCTP and the second ACTP on a second side of the dielectric substrate, wherein each of the first and second ACTPs has micro auxiliary conductive units electrically disposed in an area range of the first and second TOTPs, and a shading rate of the micro auxiliary conductive units is below 1%. The first and second TCTPs and the first and second ACTPs jointly constitute a touch sensor. A sheet resistance of each of the first and second TCTPs is between 80 and 150 ohm/sq, and a sheet resistance of each of the first and second ACTPs is between 0.05 and 0.2 ohm/sq.

Method for forming auxiliary conductive unit on transparent electrode of touch sensor and product thereof

A touch sensor includes a first sensing layer, a second sensing layer and an insulative layer therebetween. Each of the first sensing layer and the second sensing layer has capacitive sensing strings and electromagnetic antenna strings. Each capacitive sensing string is composed of capacitive sensing units. The electromagnetic antenna strings are arranged. Each of the capacitive sensing strings and the electromagnetic antenna strings is connected with a tiny wire. The capacitive sensing strings on the first sensing layer are crossed with the second capacitive sensing strings on the second sensing layer to form complementary patterns. The capacitive sensing units on the first sensing layer and the second capacitive sensing units on the second sensing layer form a grid-shaped capacitive sensing unit matrix. The electromagnetic antenna strings on the first sensing layer are crossed with the electromagnetic antenna strings on the second sensing layer to form a grid-shaped electromagnetic antenna matrix.

Complex transparent touch sensor

A capacitive touch sensor includes sensing columns. Each sensing column has a common sensing electrode and driving electrodes. The driving electrodes are divided into two groups, which are connected to contacts in two bridging areas through electrode wires. Each bridging area is covered by an insulation film with through holes corresponding to the contacts. Signal wires of the driving electrodes pass through the through holes to connect the contacts of the driving electrodes of the sensing columns, which are located in a line, to form a signal channel. The signal wires connecting the common sensing electrodes pass through one of the two bridging areas and insulatively intersect the signal wires of the driving electrodes of the signal channel. Electrode extending portions of the common sensing electrodes are extended to the other bridging area to insulatively intersect signal wires of the driving electrodes of the signal channel.

Single-layer projected capacitive touch sensor with two bridging areas

A touch knob includes a knob shell having a three-dimensional contour with a curved joint surface; an ITO touch sensor disposed on the knob shell; an auxiliary conductive unit with extensibility, connected on the touch sensor to form an overlapping area covering the joint surface, and the auxiliary conductive unit in the overlapping area having a conductive pattern corresponding to the touch sensor; and a surface coating layer having a three-dimensional contour corresponding to the knob shell and attached on both the touch sensor and the auxiliary conductive unit. An opaque mask surface is provided on an inner side of the surface coating layer. The mask surface cloaks the overlapping area.

Three-dimensional touch knob

A touch panel includes a substrate, a touch sensor, a bezel layer, a signal wire layer and a protective layer, which are superposed in order. The touch sensor has sensing traces and a dummy pattern. A trace contact at an end of each sensing trace is located at a margin of the substrate. The bezel layer is provided with through holes corresponding to the trace contacts. The signal wire layer includes signal wires arranged in a range of the bezel layer. A signal contact at an end of each signal wire is located correspondingly to one of the through holes. The through holes are filled with conductive glue to electrically connect the signal contacts and the trace contacts. The conductive glue is made of opaque conductive material with a color which is substantially identical to the bezel layer.

Touch panel structure

A capacitive touch sensor includes two sensing layers. Each sensing layer has capacitive sensing strings and electromagnetic antenna strings. Each of the capacitive sensing strings and electromagnetic antenna strings is connected to a highly conductive element. A transparent insulative layer is arranged between the two sensing layers. The two groups of sensing strings on two the capacitive sensing layers orthogonally interlace with each other to form a capacitive sensing matrix.

Composite transparent touch sensor

A touch panel includes a base layer having a shaded area and a visible area; a first sensing layer having first capacitive sensing columns (FCSCs) and first electromagnetic antenna columns (FEACs), which are insulated; a first auxiliary conductive layer having a circuit pattern substantially identical to the first sensing layer, and the circuit pattern correspondingly electrically connecting to the first sensing layer; a second sensing layer having second capacitive sensing columns (SCSCs) and second electromagnetic antenna columns (SEACs), which are insulated; a second auxiliary conductive layer having a circuit pattern substantially identical to the second sensing layer, and the circuit pattern correspondingly connect to the second sensing layer; and an insulative layer between the first and second sensing layer. The FCSCs are orthogonal to the SCSCs to constitute a diamond-lattice-shaped capacitive sensing unit array, and the FEACs are orthogonal to the SEACs to constitute a diamond-lattice-shaped electromagnetic antenna array.

Composite transparent touch panel

A capacitive touch sensor includes two sensing layers. Each sensing layer has sensing strings, each of which is composed of sensing units connected in series. An end of each sensing string is provided with a contact. Each sensing string has a wire. Each wire electrically connects to one of the contacts and a string of the sensing units. A transparent insulative layer is arranged between the two sensing layers. The two groups of sensing strings on two the sensing layers interlace with each other to form a sensing matrix.

Structure of transparent capacitive touch sensor

A touch sensor includes an insulative substrate; a first sensing layer, having first sensing strings arranged along a first axis, and a first interval being disposed between every two adjacent first sensing strings; and a second sensing layer, having line paths arranged along a second axis, and a second interval being disposed between every two adjacent line paths. A plurality of the line paths composes a second sensing string. Each second sensing string has an active unit and an inactive unit. The active unit is formed by one or more line paths connected by a crossing line. The line paths of the inactive units are connected to a ground line. The first sensing strings and the second sensing strings are separately orthogonally arranged on two opposite sides of the substrate. The second interval is less than the first interval in width.
