A source driving system includes first and second source driving integrated circuits. The first driving integrated circuit includes a first source driver for receiving first display data and driving pixels in a first block of a display panel according to the first display data. The second source driving integrated circuit includes a second source driver electrically connected to the first source driver for receiving second display data and driving pixels in a second block of the display panel according to the second display data. The first and the second source drivers generate first and second display parameters according to the first and the second display data respectively. The second display parameter is transmitted from the second source driver to the first source driver. The first source driver generates a third display parameter according to the first and second parameters and transmits the third display parameter to the second source driver.

Integrated source driving system

A data driving apparatus includes two data driving circuits, each including a timing controller with a clock generator and configured to receive a specific portion of data corresponding to a row of pixel in an image frame, and, after receiving the specific portion of the data, process the portion of the data; wherein the two timing controllers have different data operation times. One timing controller outputs an enable command to another one once the processing of the respective portion of the data is complete. Then, another timing controller starts to process the respective portion of the data and output an output command to the first data driving circuit in response to a finish of the processing of the second portion of the data and thereby controlling the two data driving circuits to output the processed data. An operation method thereof and a display using the same are also provided.

Data driving apparatus and operation method thereof and display using the same

A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof. The liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight module, a dimming control unit and a backlight module driving circuit. The liquid crystal display panel has a first display area and a second display area. The backlight module includes a plurality of lighting devices respectively corresponding to pixels in the first display area and the second display area. The dimming control unit generates at least one dimming control signal having a dimming frequency which is a multiple of a frame rate of the liquid crystal display panel. The backlight module driving circuit periodically drives the lighting devices in sequence according to the dimming control signal.
