A light source apparatus includes a first laser light emitter that emits first light, a wavelength converter that converts the first light into second light, a base including a first support part that supports the first laser light emitter and a second support part that supports the wavelength converter, and a first optical element that guides the first light to the wavelength converter. The first optical element has a first light incident surface which faces the first laser light emitter, a first reflection surface that reflects the first light emitted from the first light incident surface and deflects the optical path of the first light, and a first light exiting surface which faces the wavelength converter and via which the first light reflected off the first reflection surface exits. The first light incident surface, the first reflection surface, and the first light exiting surface intersect with each other.

Light source apparatus and projector

A light source apparatus according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a light source that outputs excitation light, a wavelength converter including a reflection layer and a wavelength conversion layer that is provided on the light incident side of the reflection layer and converts the excitation light in terms of wavelength into wavelength converted light having a wavelength band different from that of the excitation light, a first optical element that causes the excitation light from the light source to be incident on the wavelength converter, and a second optical element that is disposed in the optical path between the light source and the wavelength converter and causes at least part of reflected light of the excitation light reflected off the wavelength converter to exit toward the wavelength converter.

A light source apparatus includes a base substrate made of a metal material, a plurality of light emitting devices provided on a first surface of the base substrate, a frame so provided on the first surface of the base substrate as to surround the plurality of light emitting devices, and a light transmissive member that is provided on a surface of the frame that is opposite the surface thereof on which the base substrate is provided and transmits light emitted from the plurality of light emitting devices, and the frame is so dimensioned that the section modulus corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the frame is greater than or equal to 0.5 mmbut smaller than or equal to 7.0 mm.

A light source device includes: a light emission element; a condensing optical system on which a first component of light emitted from the light emission element is incident; an optical element on which the first component transmitted through the condensing optical system is incident; and a pickup optical system on which the first component having travelled via the optical element is incident. At least one of the condensing optical system and the pickup optical system includes a first lens formed of quartz.

A light source device includes: a base substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements disposed on the base substrate along each of an X-direction and a Y-direction crossing the X-direction; and a first polarity terminal and a second polarity terminal for supplying power to the plurality of light emitting elements. The first polarity terminal and the second polarity terminal project from one side of the base substrate in the X-direction as viewed in a Z-direction orthogonal to the X-direction and the Y-direction.

A light source device includes: a plurality of light-emitting elements including a first light-emitting element and a second light-emitting element each of which emits light in a first direction; and a base material including a base portion that extends in a second direction inclined with respect to the first direction. The plurality of light-emitting elements are disposed along the second direction on one side of the base portion.

Light source device, illumination device, and projector

A projector includes a cooling device cooling a liquid crystal panel. The cooling device includes a heat receiving part receiving heat of the liquid crystal panel, a Peltier device having a heat absorbing part that absorbs the heat of the heat receiving part and a heat generating part that generates heat when the absorbing part absorbs heat, a heat sink provided so that heat may be transferred to the heat generating part, and a heat pipe containing a hydraulic fluid inside, in which heat is transferred by convection of the hydraulic fluid. The heat sink has a stacking part superimposed on the Peltier device and a projecting part projecting from the Peltier device as seen from the Peltier device side, and the heat pipe has an interior part located between the Peltier device and the stacking part and an extending part extending along the projecting part.
