Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses are disclosed for an interactive rewards system for engaging and rewarding drivers. In one aspect, a system comprising a first computing associated with a driver and a second computing device is disclosed, where the second computing device is configured to receive, from the first computing device, driving score information for the driver, assign at least one lottery ticket to the driver based on the driving score information, and send, to the first computing device, a notification indicating that the at least one lottery ticket has been assigned to the driver. In another aspect, the second computing device may be configured to assign, to a driver, a card for a virtual card game. The particular card assigned may be based on the driver's driving behavior.

Interactive rewards system for rewarding drivers

A system for determining a subjective risk score may include a vehicle and/or a computing device associated with a user travelling within the vehicle. The computing device may receive input from the user when the user feels a sense of unease regarding a particular road segment upon which the vehicle is traveling. The system may further include a subjective risk analysis computing system that may be communicatively coupled to the computing device. The subjective risk analysis computing system may receive subjective risk information corresponding to the user's sense of unease regarding particular road segments and may process the subjective risk information to determine a subjective risk score for each of a plurality of road segments along a route. An insurance company may use this information to determine whether to adjust a quote or premium of an insurance policy.

Subjective route risk mapping and mitigation

Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide a tool for use by drivers and/or coaches throughout the pre-license stage of obtaining a driver's license. A pre-license program may control a computing device to collect drive data while a driver is driving a vehicle. This drive data may be used to detect a drive event. Then, the computing device may present coaching information associated with the detected drive event. The coaching information may provide a passenger, such as a coach or parent, with real-time advice for instructing the driver how to improve his/her driving skills. Moreover, the drive data collected may be used to prepare reports providing feedback to the drivers and coaches. Further, the pre-license program may determine an expected track for a driver to follow to prepare for a driver's license test and may indicate whether the driver is on or off the track.

Pre-license development tool

Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide a tool for use by drivers and/or coaches throughout the pre-license stage of obtaining a driver's license. A pre-license program may control a computing device to collect drive data while a driver is driving a vehicle. This drive data may be used to detect a drive event. Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide an interactive application, such as a video game, that presents gaming and driving challenges to facilitate improvement of driving skills and development of safe driving behavior. Drive data may be collected while a user is driving a vehicle and the drive data may be used to define a graphically simulated virtual world. A drive score may also be calculated based on the drive data. Portions of the graphically simulated virtual world may be unlocked based on the drive score. Also, attributes of a character within the graphically simulated virtual world may be modified based on the drive score.

Interactive driver development

Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses that may facilitate communications to rate driver performance and provide a driver rating to a driver in a competitive manner are provided. Driver computing devices may collect drive data (e.g., vehicle telematics data) to determine whether conditions are met (i.e., whether a driver speeds, brakes hard, or drives at night). The system may generate a driver rating based on these conditions. The rating may be used in a competitive manner (such as by sharing ratings with friends) and rewards given for good performance (such as new levels for display in a social environment, or financial incentives such as charitable donation or sweepstakes entry).
