An electronic system is provided. The electronic system includes a processor and a first power management circuit. The processor generates and outputs a first data frame. The first data frame includes at least one first guard bit and a first address. The first power management circuit includes a first register. The first power management circuit receives the first data frame and determines legitimacy of the first address according to the least one first guard bit. In response to that the first address is legal, the power management circuit transmits a first response to the processor and accesses a first region in the first register according to the first address.

Electronic system and protection method for power management circuit

A method of efficient pocket detection is proposed. A wireless device determines whether it is in a transition state by using a plurality of low power-consuming sensors. The wireless device powers on a high power-consuming sensor if the device is in the transition state, or otherwise keeps the high power-consuming sensor off if the device is not in the transition state. The wireless device detects a current pocket mode of the device using the high power-consuming sensor if the device is in the transition state, or otherwise keeps a previous pocket mode if the device is not in the transition state.

Power saving mechanism for in-pocket detection

A system for accessing subscriber identity cards each via a dedicated interface is provided. The system includes a first subscriber identity card, a second subscriber identity card and a Baseband chip. The Baseband chip includes a first subscriber identity module (SIM) interface coupled to the first subscriber identity card, a second SIM interface coupled to the second subscriber identity card and a processor coupled to the first and second SIM interfaces. The processor accesses the first subscriber identity card via the first SIM interface and the second subscriber identity card via the second SIM interface.

A method for aligning polling timer by a mobile station with a first subscriber identity card and a second subscriber identity card, executed by a processor of the mobile station, is provided. First, it is determined whether the second subscriber identity card is operated in an IDLE state when a first timer corresponding to the first subscriber identity card counts to a specific time period. Forthcoming periodic timings are adjusted for polling the first and second subscriber identity cards to be substantially consistent when the second subscriber identity card is operated in an IDLE state.
