An electronic device is provided here, which includes a casing, a keycap and a keyboard backlight module. The casing has a first opening. The keycap is disposed corresponding to the first opening, and a gap is formed between the keycap and a periphery of the first opening. The keyboard backlight module includes a shielding layer, the shielding layer includes a light transmission area corresponding to the first opening and a light block portion, and the light block portion is located in the light transmission area and covers a region where at least one light path passes through the gap and intersects the light transmission area through.

Electronic device and method of manufacturing the same

The electronic device provided includes a housing with two first through holes and two second through holes, a light guiding structure, and a light source. A first section is provided between the two first through holes, and a second section is provided between the two second through holes. The length of the first section is less than the length of the second section. The light guiding structure includes a light guiding layer, a diffusion layer, and a light adjusting layer. The light adjusting layer is disposed at the position of the first section. The light source is disposed at a position that corresponds to an intersection of the first section and the second section. Light emitted by the light source passes through the light transmitting portion and the intersection, and is separately emitted through the first through holes and the second through holes along the light transmitting portion.

Electronic device

An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes at least an electronic element; and a circuit board having a base with at least a block, wherein the at least a block is used as a replaceable carrying portion for carrying the electronic element, and the electronic element is electrically connected to the circuit board. As such, when a defect occurs to the replaceable carrying portion, the replaceable carrying portion as well as the defective electronic element can be removed and replaced with good ones.

Electronic device and fabrication method thereof

A CD-ROM reader mechanism includes a movable inner frame supporting a reader device thereon and being movably received in a fixed outer frame. At least one pair of flexible hinges are integrally formed between the inner frame and the outer frame at opposite sides to pivotally support the inner frame in the outer frame thereby allowing a front end of the inner frame to move between an upper position where the reader device is allowed to access an optic disk and a lower position where the reader device is moved away from the optic disk. The flexible hinges each include an undulated structure made of a deformable material. The undulated structure has a plurality of cavities therein which allow the structure to collapse for serving as a hinge.

CD-ROM reader mechanism

An automatic balancing device of an optic disc drive includes a circular disk made of ferromagnetic material mounted to an output spindle of a motor of the optic disc drive and a circular tray supported on the circular disk. The circular tray has a central axle and defines an annular space around the axle and a plurality of circular channels concentrically surrounding the annular space. A ring magnet is retained in the annular space for attracting the circular disk thereby soundly retaining the circular tray on the circular disk. A plurality of weight balls are received in each of the circular channels and are allowed to freely roll in the corresponding channels. A cover is attached to the circular tray for retaining the balls in the channels and supporting and driving an optic disc. When the motor is actuated and the circular tray is rotated, the balls are free to roll in the corresponding channels thereby automatically achieving balance of rotation of the optic disc.

Automatic balancing device of optic disc drive

An optic disk drive includes an outer casing inside of which an inner casing is received to define two side channels between side walls of the outer casing and opposite sides of the inner casing. A disk holding arm is pivoted to and extends above the inner casing to define a spacing therebetween for receiving therein a disk tray which supports an optic disk thereon. The disk tray has two side flanges, each having a step-like configuration, slidably receivable within the side channels between a retracted position and an ejected position. The vibration absorbing device includes a C-shaped resilient member fixed to each of the side walls of the outer casing and having a contact segment extending into the side channel to contact and form a resilient engagement with the step of the disk tray when the disk tray is at the retracted position. The vibration absorbing device also includes an anchoring member provided on a rear side of the disk holding arm to contact and thus engage the disk tray when the disk tray is at the retracted position so that when the disk tray is at the first position, the vibration absorbing device provides a three point contact engagement with the disk tray to tightly hold the disk tray against vibration.
