An active heat-dissipation system for a base station of a communication system includes a measuring module, configured to detect a temperature sensing signal of the base station; a controller, configured to receive the temperature sensing signal detected by the measuring module to set a preset temperature signal, to generate a difference between the temperature sensing signal and the preset temperature signal and a time derivative of the difference, and to output a control signal according to the difference and the time derivative of the difference based on a control program; and a power module, configured to receive the control signal and output an electrical signal to a heat-dissipation module according to the control signal, such that the heat-dissipation module performs a heat-dissipation process for the base station according to the electrical signal.

A phase controller for an antenna array includes a determination circuit, determining a direction index of the antenna array, and calculating a phase index according to the direction index according to a congruence modulo equation; a switching box, selecting L first frequency signals with L different first phases among K first frequency signals with K different first phases according to the phase index, wherein L and K are integer larger than 1, and L is not larger than K; and a frequency synthesizing module, comprising L phase-coherent PLL frequency synthesizers for receiving the L first frequency signals with the L different first phases to generate L second frequency signals with L different second phases to L antennae of the antenna array, wherein a second frequency of the second frequency signals is larger than a first frequency of the first frequency signals.

A variable inductor which comprises a primary conductor, first and second secondary conductors and one or more switch. The primary conductor has a first node and a second node, wherein the first node is used to connect a first external component and the second node is used to connect a second external component. The first and second secondary conductors magnetically couple to the primary conductor. The one or more switch has two sides connected to the first or second secondary conductor, respectively. The first and second secondary conductors are formed a single-loop structure with two or more changeable current paths which are operated by the states of the one or more switch. An integrated circuit using the variable inductor is also introduced.

Array antenna communication system is introduced, which is a communication system that receives a location signal generated by a mobile communication apparatus and accordingly transfers a communication signal with a corresponding phase direction. The system includes an array antenna module and a beamforming circuit. The array antenna module includes a plurality of antenna units arranged in array form. The beamforming circuit is used for receiving a plurality of location signals, a plurality of phase control signals, and transferring a plurality of output signals, wherein the beamforming circuit receives the location signal and accordingly generates the corresponding control signal, and controls the corresponding antenna unit of the array antenna module, so as to enable the antenna unit to move to a position corresponding to a phase and to transfer the plurality of output signals, thereby achieving communication signal enhancement.

Array antenna communication system and method therefor

A reflective modulator which comprises a coupler, two diodes and two DC block units. The coupler has an input end used to output an output signal, an output end used to output an output signal, a first load end connected to one of the diodes and a second load end connected to another one of the diodes. The DC block units connect between the diodes and the coupler for DC blocking. A message signal is selectively inputted to both of the two DC block units for operating the state of the two diodes. The two diodes turn on when the message signal is large enough. The two diodes turn off when the message signal is not large enough. The two diodes are implemented by PIN diodes. A BPSK modulator using the reflective modulator and a quadrature modulator using the BPSK modulator is also introduced.

Signal modulator

Communication structure for communication with a mobile communication apparatus includes a signal conduction module having an array of antenna units; and a signal transceiving module including a signal transceiving unit, control unit, and power control unit. The control unit generates a driving signal to the power control unit, which generates a voltage to the signal transceiving unit; the signal transceiving unit generates a corresponding spectrum signal, transferred by the signal conduction module. The mobile communication apparatus receives the spectrum signal and transfers a first feedback signal. The first feedback signal, after being received by the signal conduction module, is transferred to the signal transceiving unit, which generates a second feedback signal to the control unit, the control unit identifies the second feedback signal and generates a control signal to the signal conduction module; the array of antenna units is controlled by the control signal correspondingly to enhance communication quality.

Communication structure

A reflective modulator comprises a coupler, two diodes and two DC block units. The coupler has an input end used to output an output signal, an output end used to output an output signal, a first load end connected to one of the diodes and a second load end connected to another one of the diodes. The DC block units connect between the diodes and the coupler for DC blocking. A message signal is selectively inputted to both of the two DC block units for operating the state of the two diodes. A BPSK modulator using the reflective modulator and a quadrature modulator using the BPSK modulator are also introduced.

An active phased array antenna system with hierarchical modularized architecture is introduced, which includes an array antenna and a beamforming circuit. The array antenna includes a plurality of antenna units, number of which is N and which are arranged in array form. The beamforming circuit is for receiving a plurality of input signals and a plurality of phase control signals, and includes a hierarchical circuit structure based on phase shifters, for outputting a plurality of output signals based on the input signals according to phase values corresponding to the phase control signals and combinations of the phase values; the output signals are respectively coupled to the antenna units so as to generate a radiation pattern, wherein number of the phase control signals is T, T&#x3c;N, wherein N=&#x3a0;N, M=&#x3a3;N, M&#x2212;P&#x2264;T&#x2264;M, N(i=1 to P), M, P are all positive integers, P&#x2265;2, N&#x2265;2.
