A keyboard structure and assembling method thereof are provided. The keyboard structure includes a baseplate, a keycap and a frame having a hook body. The keycap can be inserted into the frame and restricted by the hook body, so that the range of movement of the keycap is restricted. The keycap cannot be separated from the frame so that the coupling of the frame and the baseplate is not interfered by the keycap. Thus, the present invention can effectively simplify the assembling process of the keyboard.

Keyboard structure

A keyswitch includes a board having a first magnetic portion and a pivot portion, a cap, a switch, and a support device including a first support member having first and second bodies connected to each other via an elastic connection arm. The first body has first and second end portions connected to the cap and the pivot portion respectively. The second body has a second magnetic portion and a triggering portion. A U-shaped slot is formed around the triggering portion to make the triggering portion form an elastic cantilever arm extending from the second body. When the cap is pressed to make the second magnetic portion away from the first magnetic portion at a specific distance, the triggering portion triggers the switch. When the cap is released, a magnetic force between the first and second magnetic portions drives the second magnetic portion to approach the first magnetic portion.

Keyswitch

A keyswitch structure includes a base, a keycap, a frame disposed between the base and the keycap for providing a supporting and moving mechanism to the keycap, and another frame interacting with the former frame through a magnetic attraction force. When the keycap is not pressed, the magnetic attraction force drives the two frames to stably stand on the base and form a stable supporting structure, so that the keycap is located at a farther position relative to the base. When the keycap is pressed with an external force to move toward the base, the magnetic attraction force is overcome so that the two frames depart from each other; that is, the above stable supporting structure is temporarily destroyed. Once the external force applied to the keycap is eliminated, the two frames will form the stable supporting structure again due to the magnetic attraction force.

Keyswitch structure, switch structure and method of assembling a keyswitch structure

A keyswitch includes a board, a cap, and a support device disposed between the board and the cap. A first abutting side of a first support member of the support device has a first hole formed toward a first bending arm of the board. The first bending arm is disposed through the first hole for pressing the first abutting side to abut against the board. The first abutting side has a second magnetic portion formed toward the second support member. A support portion extends from a second abutting side of the second support member toward the first support member for supporting the second magnetic portion. When the cap is pressed to make the second magnetic portion separate from a first magnetic portion of the board with rotation of the first and second support members relative to the first and second abutting sides, the cap moves to a pressed position.

Keyswitch using magnetic force to restore cap position

A keyswitch structure includes a bottom plate, a keycap, a first support, a second support, and a magnetic member. The bottom plate has a magnetic portion. The keycap is disposed above the bottom plate. The first support and the second support are disposed between the bottom plate and the keycap. The keycap is capable of moving up and down relative to the bottom plate through the first support and the second support. The magnetic member is disposed between the bottom plate and the keycap corresponding to the magnetic portion. The magnetic member and the magnetic portion induce an attractive force therebetween. The attractive force makes the magnetic member contact and apply force to the first support and the second support so that the first support and the second support tend to move the keycap away from the bottom plate.

Keyswitch structure

A keyswitch structure includes a base, a keycap, a lift mechanism, and a magnetic member. The keycap is capable of moving up and down relative to the base through the lift mechanism. The lift mechanism includes a support that has a side edge portion, abutting against the base through a sharp edge, and a magnetic portion at the side edge portion. The magnetic portion extends outward from the side edge portion. The support is movably connected to the keycap through another side edge portion of the support. The magnetic member is disposed on the base corresponding to the magnetic portion. The magnetic portion and the magnetic member produce a magnetic attraction force therebetween. When an external force applied to the keycap is eliminated, the magnetic attraction force drives the support to rotate about the sharp edge relative to the base, so that the keycap moves away from the base.

A keyswitch structure includes a base plate, a keycap, a lift mechanism, and a balance link. The lift mechanism connects between the keycap and the base plate such that the keycap can move up and down relative to the base plate. The balance link is formed substantially in a U-shaped profile. The middle portion thereof is rotatably disposed on the base plate; the two ends thereof are respectively formed in an L-shaped profile and rotatably inserted into two slot structures on the keycap or the lift mechanism or both. Compared with a conventional balance link formed in an n-shaped profile connecting a keycap and a base plate, the invention provides more diverse structural connections, conducive to structural miniaturization. Furthermore, a support of the lift mechanism includes a protrusion capable of being blocked by a limitation structure disposed on the base plate for controlling the rotation angle of the support.

Keyswitch structure and balance link thereof

A keyswitch includes a casing having a first magnetic area, a key cap, and a support device including first and second support members rotatably connected to the key cap and the base plate. The first support member has a receiving opening and a second magnetic area disposed within the receiving opening. When the key cap is not pressed, a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic areas keeps the key cap at a non-pressed position. When the key cap is pressed by an external force, the key cap moves with the support device toward a pressed position. When the external force is removed, the second magnetic area moves toward the first magnetic area due to the magnetic attraction force such that the key cap moves with the support device from the pressed position toward the non-pressed position.

A keyswitch includes a cap, a board, first and second support members rotatably connected to the cap and the board, a seesaw member, and a magnetic member. The seesaw member movably supports at least one of the cap and the first and second support members. The magnetic member is disposed on the board corresponding to the seesaw member. When the cap is pressed, the at least one of the cap and the first and second support members drives the seesaw member to raise and the cap moves from a non-pressed position to a pressed position. When the cap is released, a magnetic attraction force between the magnetic member and the seesaw member drives the seesaw member to raise for lifting the at least one of the cap and the first and second support members, so as to move the cap back to the non-pressed position.

Keyswitch and keyboard thereof

A keyswitch structure includes a base, a keycap, at least one lift mechanism, a link, and a restoration mechanism. The lift mechanism is connected to and between the base and the keycap. The link is moveably on the base. The restoration mechanism is disposed on the link and the base and can generate a restoration force. When the keycap is pressed down by a user to move toward the base, a sliding portion of the lift mechanism slides on the base to drive the link to move relative to the base. Further, when the pressing on the keycap by the user is eliminated, the restoration force urges the link to move to drive the sliding portion to slide reversely, so that the keycap moves away from the base.

Keyswitch with magnetic restoration mechanism

A keyswitch includes a casing, a key cap and a support device rotatably disposed between the key cap and the casing. One of the casing and the key cap has a first magnetic area and the support device has a second magnetic area corresponding to the first magnetic area. When the key cap is not pressed, a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic areas keeps the key cap at a non-pressed position. When the key cap is pressed by an external force such that the second magnetic area moves away from the first magnetic area, the key cap moves from the non-pressed position toward the pressed position. When the external force is removed, the second magnetic area moves toward the first magnetic area due to the magnetic attraction force such that the key cap moves from the pressed position toward the non-pressed position.

A keyswitch assembly includes a movable keycap having a space provided in a bottom of the keycap; a metal support plate having an opening, the metal including a cantilever bridge; a switch located under the opening of the metal support plate; a magnet disposed within the space of the keycap; wherein as the keycap is undepressed, the keycap is in an initial state and the keyswitch assembly is OFF, and the magnet draws in the cantilever bridge, and as the keycap is depressed downward, the magnet is forced to depart from the cantilever bridge and actuates the switch making the keyswitch assembly to turn ON. As the forced is released, the magnetic force between the cantilever bridge and the magnet forces the keycap to return its initial state.

Keyswitch assembly and keyboard

A gas releasable key structure including a base, a thin-film circuit, a key cap and an elastic structure is disclosed. The elastic structure is disposed between the key cap and the thin-film circuit and includes a cap body, a ring-shaped flange, a motion pillar and a conductor. The cap body has a first opening and a second opening. The ring-shaped flange connects an edge around the first opening. The motion pillar in the cap body has a through hole, an upper surface and a lower surface. The through hole is extended to the upper surface from the lower surface, connecting the second opening. The conductor on the lower surface has an indent and a breach that connects the through hole. When the first opening is closed, the gas inside the cap body is dissipated to the exterior via the indent, the breach, the through hole and the second opening.

Gas releasable key structure and keyboard structure using the same

A key structure is provided, including a substrate, a key cap, a first link, and a second link pivotally connected to the first link. The first and second links movably connect the key cap with the base. The key cap comprises a first surface and a guiding portion extended along a first direction, wherein the guiding portion has a second surface. The first link is made of metal and has a sliding end forming a first curved portion and a second curved portion. The first and second curved portions are respectively adjacent to the first and second surfaces and slidable along the guiding portion.
