A video doorbell and an automatic setting method thereof are provided. The video doorbell includes a bridge rectifying unit, a switch unit, and a processing unit. The bridge rectifying unit is configured to output a DC voltage when receiving an AC power from a transformer. During a chime type detection mode, the switch unit is configured to switch a path of the AC power for generating a short-circuit current to trigger a chime. After the short-circuit current is kept for a detection time, the short-circuit current is terminated. During the chime type detection mode, when the short-circuit current is terminated, the processing unit detects a rising time of the DC voltage rising from a first level to a second level, and determine whether the chime is an analog chime or a digital chime according to the rising time.

Video doorbell and automatic setting method thereof

A video doorbell system comprising a video doorbell device, which comprises a chime trigger device, a first battery, an AC power receiving interface, an AC to DC circuit, a charging circuit, a DC power receiving interface and an image capture circuit. The first battery provides an internal DC voltage. The AC power receiving interface receives an AC voltage. The AC to DC circuit converts the AC voltage to a second DC voltage. The charging circuit drains the second DC voltage to charge the first battery. The DC power receiving interface receives a first DC voltage. The image capture circuit selectively drains the internal DC voltage, or the first DC voltage to operate.

Video doorbell system compatible with various accessories

A passively Q-switched fiber laser system comprises a pump source and an ring cavity connected with each other. The ring cavity comprises a gain fiber, a directional coupler and a saturable absorber connected in order. The saturable absorber is a quantum-dot polymer composite film, which is fabricated by a simple method comprising steps of: mixing a quantum dot material of lead sulfide (PbS) with a colloidal polymer to form a mixture; and drying the mixture at two different temperatures in two stages respectively. The saturable absorber of the present invention has lower saturating intensity and a plurality of absorption bands comprising 1000 nm to 1100 nm and 1500 nm to 1600 nm. The maximum output power and the maximum pulse energy of the passively Q-switched fiber laser system can be superior to those laser systems using the quantum-dot (QD) polymer composite film as saturable absorber.

Passively Q-switched fiber laser system and method for fabricating a saturable absorber of the system

A doorbell device has a first power input terminal and a second power input terminal. The doorbell device is coupled to a chime device. The doorbell device includes a current sensing circuit, a switch circuit, and a processing circuit. The current sensing circuit is coupled to the first power input terminal, and generates a sensing voltage according to a current flowing through the current sensing circuit. The switch circuit is coupled between the current sensing circuit and the second power input terminal. The switch circuit changes the conducting state in response to a control signal. The processing circuit is configured to provide the control signal and determine the type of the chime device according to the sensing voltage.

Doorbell device and associated control method

Disclosed herein is a microstrip line filter including a dielectric substrate, a first hairpin resonator, and a metal ground layer. The first hairpin resonator is disposed on a first layer of the dielectric substrate. The metal ground layer is disposed on a second layer of the dielectric substrate. The metal ground layer includes a first defected ground structure. The first defected ground structure includes a first defected area, a second defected area, and a third defected area. The projection of the first defected area on the first layer is located inside the hairpin structure of the first hairpin resonator. The projection of the second defected area on the first layer is located in a direction opposite to an opening direction of the first hairpin resonator. The third defected area connects the first defected area and the second defected area.

Microstrip line filter

A heating device is provided. A temperature sensing unit is configured to sense an ambient temperature and accordingly output a temperature sensing voltage. A driving unit is coupled to a heating transistor unit and the temperature sensing unit, and configured to drive the heating transistor unit for performing heating based on the temperature sensing voltage. An activating unit is coupled to the temperature sensing unit, configured to output an activating signal based on the temperature sensing voltage when a temperature of the printed circuit board has risen up to a preset temperature. The heating device as provided can assure that the activating signal can be normally outputted by the heating device under an ambient at an extremely low temperature.

A doorbell system and a doorbell control device are provided. The doorbell system includes a doorbell control device, a transformer, and a doorbell interface device. The doorbell control device has a first pin, a second pin, and a third pin. The doorbell control device includes a speaker unit and a control unit. The control unit is configured to control whether or not the speaker unit produces sound according to a current or a voltage of the second pin. The first pin is coupled to the second pin. The transformer outputs an AC voltage to the first pin and the third pin of the doorbell control device. The doorbell interface device is coupled to the second pin and the third pin of the doorbell control device.

A doorbell system and a doorbell control device are provided. The doorbell system includes a doorbell control device, a transformer, a doorbell interface device, and a chime device. The doorbell control device has a first pin, a second pin, a third pin, and a fourth pin. The doorbell control device is configured to control a conducting state between the first pin and the third pin according to a current or a voltage of the second pin. The first pin is coupled to the second pin. The transformer outputs an AC voltage to the first pin and the fourth pin of the doorbell control device. The doorbell interface device is coupled to the second pin and the fourth pin of the doorbell control device. The chime device is coupled to the third pin and the fourth pin of the doorbell control device.

A doorbell device is provided. The doorbell device includes a user interface, a control circuit, a power switching circuit, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a charge/discharge control circuit. The user interface includes a button. The control circuit is coupled to the user interface and generates a power control signal according to a state of the button. The power switching circuit is coupled to the control circuit and outputs a first voltage signal at a first node to supply power to the control circuit according to the power control signal. The first capacitor is coupled to the first node. The charge/discharge control circuit is coupled between the first node and the second capacitor and controls whether the second capacitor is charged or discharged according to the first voltage signal.

Doorbell device

A wireless communication device for transceiving heterogeneous radio-frequency (RF) signals is provided. The wireless communication device includes a first antenna, a second antenna, a first transceiver, a second transceiver and a controller. The first transceiver controls the first antenna through a first transceiving path to transceive a first RF signal according to a first wireless communication standard. The second transceiver controls the second antenna through a second transceiving path to transceive a second RF signal according to a second wireless communication standard. In a joining process when the wireless communication device establishes connection to an end device according to the second wireless communication standard, the controller reduces transmission power for transmitting the first RF signal, or reduces sensitivity for receiving the second RF signal.

Wireless communication device for transceiving heterogeneous radio-frequency signals

An IP camera is provided. The IP camera includes a camera lens, an imaging unit, an IR cut filter, a motor, and a control circuit. The motor controls the position of the IR cut filter. The control circuit outputs a first pulse signal to drive the motor to move the IR cut filter such that light that passes through the camera lens reaches the imaging unit without passing through the IR cut filter. The control circuit controls the motor and prevents the motor from heat-related damage.

IP camera with IR cut burnout and dislocation avoidance mechanism

A laser capture microdissection system includes a laser illuminator, a fiber and an electric moving stage. The fiber has a probe terminal and a coupling terminal for being coupled to the laser illuminator. The electric moving stage includes a fiber probe holder, a driving mechanism for vertical shift, a stage unit, a driving mechanism for horizontal shift and an electronic control unit. The driving mechanism for vertical shift serves for driving the fiber probe holder to shift in microscale. The stage unit has a nanoscale shift controller, a placing portion, wherein the nano-scale shift controller is connected to the placing portion, and the placing portion is located under the fiber probe holder. The driving mechanism for horizontal shift serves for driving the stage unit to shift in microscale. The electronic control unit is electrically connected to the nanoscale shift controller and the driving mechanism for horizontal shift.

A telescopic guard lid for use on a household wallplate socket set has telescopic door plates interconnected to one another and the front door plate is engaged with a bias spring so that the guard lid can be forced opened to permit a plug to be inserted into a socket and be retractablly shut when the inserted plug is withdrawn. This guard lid can also be designed to be pivotally opened or closed piece by piece and be retained in a closed position by way of magnetic force.
