A mounting apparatus for a storage device includes a positioning bracket, a receiving bracket receiving the storage device, and a rotating member. The positioning bracket includes two opposite end walls each defining a slide slot and forming a guiding pin. The receiving bracket includes two opposite side plates each forming a positioning pin. Each positioning pin is slidably received in the corresponding slide slot. The rotating member includes two rotating plates rotatably connected to the side plates of the receiving bracket. Each rotating plate defines a guiding slot with a positioning portion. The guiding pins are slidably received in the corresponding guiding slots. The positioning pins are slid along the slide slots of the positioning bracket, until the guiding pins are positioned in the corresponding positioning portions.

Mounting apparatus for storage device

An electronic device includes a panel, a button assembly, and a circuit board. The panel defines an opening. The button assembly is mounted to the rear surface of the panel, and includes a button partially received in the opening of the panel, a base plate fixed to the rear side of the button, and a substantially U-shaped balance bar. The button includes a push portion and two protrusions rearwards extending through the base plate. An end of the balance bar is movably connected to the rear side of the base plate, and an opposite end of the balance bar is pivotably connected to the protrusions of the button. The circuit board is fixed behind the button assembly, and includes a switch aligning with the push portion of the button. When the button is pressed, the balance bar restricts the button to just move linearly to the switch.

A motherboard for a portable notebook computer includes a circuit board, and an extension card module connected with the circuit board. The circuit board defines a cutout in one corner thereof and includes a top layer and a bottom layer. The top layer includes a first area, a second area, a third area, and a fourth area. The first area and the third area are located near one edge of the circuit board. The second area and the fourth area are located near an opposite edge of the circuit board. The first area and the second area are near the cutout. A central processing unit, a graphics processing unit (GPU), a peripheral component interconnect (PCI) card, and a memory are located on the first through fourth areas of the circuit board respectively. The extension card module selectively receives a variety of extension cards.

The enclosure defines an opening in a bottom wall thereof, corresponding to the locking portion of the tray.

A supporting bracket assembly for supporting a base unit of a portable computer includes a base, a supporting bracket, a locking member, and an operation portion. The supporting bracket is pivotably engaged with the base. The supporting bracket includes a supporting arm with a locking ring. A plurality of locking holes is defined in the locking ring. The locking member is slidably arranged in the base. The locking member includes a positioning post. The positioning post is selectively inserted in one of the locking holes of the supporting arm to lock the supporting bracket. The operation portion is connected with the locking member, and the locking member is driven by the operation portion to slide for locking or unlocking the supporting bracket.

Supporting bracket assembly

An exemplary ejection apparatus is provided for ejecting a data storage device out of a chassis. The ejection apparatus includes a pair of driving members, a connecting member, and an operating member. The operating member is slidably attached to the chassis and the connecting member. The connecting member includes a pair of second steps. The driving members are pivotably crossed together and attached to the chassis. Each of the driving members includes a driving portion with a slanting wall formed at one free end thereof, and a first step formed at the other end thereof slidably engaging with the corresponding second step. The operating member moves the connecting member to urge a scissoring movement of the driving member, with the first steps slidably engaging with the second steps. The driving portions push the data storage device out of the chassis.

A button fixing mechanism for fixing a button () to a base () of an electronic device includes a top panel () of the base, a shelf () attached to the top panel, and a pair of resilient members (). The button includes a pair of shafts () extending outwardly from sidewalls () thereof. The shelf includes an oblong slot () defined therein, and a pair of tabs () extending beside the oblong slot and each defining a pivoting hole () therein. The button is extended through the oblong slot, with the shafts received in the pivoting holes of tabs. The resilient members are separately attached to the top panel and engage two ends of the button.

An exemplary LCD panel mounting apparatus includes a bracket, a pair of frames, and a pair of actuators. The bracket includes a flange defining a pair of slots therein. The frames are slidably attached to the bracket in a first direction and each includes a first sliding member defining a pair of notches therein along the first direction. The actuators are slidably attached to the bracket in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and each includes a post selectively engaging in one of the notches of the frames, and a handling tab extending through the corresponding slot of the bracket. A pushing assembly is provided for pushing a data storage device out of a computer enclosure. The pushing assembly includes a pair of receiving portions, a restricting portion, a pushing device, and a stopping member. The receiving portions and the restricting portion are arranged in the computer enclosure. The pushing device is assembled on the data storage device. The pushing device comprises a pair of pushing portions. The pushing portions press against the receiving portions respectively to push the pushing device moving. The pushing device drives the data storage device to slide a certain distance to facilitate the data storage device being taken out from the computer enclosure.
