A color filter including a substrate and a red filter pattern is provided. The red filter pattern is disposed on the substrate, wherein the red filter pattern includes a red dye and a fluorescence quencher.

Color filter

A color filter including a substrate and a green photoresist is provided. The green photoresist is disposed on the substrate, and the spectrum function thereof has a first peak within a wavelength window between 480 nm and 550 nm. Whereas a transmittance intensity of the spectrum function of green photoresist at wavelength 750 nm is greater than that of 0.5 times of the transmittance intensity of the first peak. An optical touch display device with the color filter is also provided.

Optical touch display device and color filter thereof

Disclosed herein is a color filter, which includes a substrate and a green color resist. The green color resist is disposed on the substrate. The green color resist has a function A(&#x3bb;) defined by a product of the transmittance spectrum of the green color resist and the CIE color matching function(&#x3bb;). The function A(&#x3bb;) has a maximum of less than 0.28, and the function A(&#x3bb;) satisfies the following formula (II):&#x222b;(&#x3bb;)&#x3bb;&#x3e;10.26&#x2003;&#x2003;formula (II).

Color filter and liquid crystal display

A display panel includes a first substrate, a third substrate and a second substrate disposed therebetween. A first grid structure having first openings is disposed on the first substrate to expose pixel regions. A second grid structure having second openings and a third grid structure having third openings are disposed on the second substrate and the third substrate, respectively. A first polar solution layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A second polar solution layer is disposed between the third substrate and the second substrate. A first non-polar solution layer is disposed within the first openings. A second non-polar solution layer is disposed within the second openings. The second non-polar solution layer disposed in different pixel regions has different colors. A third non-polar solution layer is disposed within the third openings. The third non-polar solution layer disposed in different pixel regions has different colors.

Display panel

A display apparatus includes an organic electroluminescence (OEL) device and a color filter. At different correlated color temperatures (CCTs), a light emitting spectrum of the OEL device is adjusted to meet specific display requirements and improve the display quality of the display apparatus. In addition, a light filtering spectrum of the color filter is adjusted simultaneously to match the light emitting spectrum of the OEL device, so that the display apparatus has an excellent display effect.

A liquid crystal display is disclosed. The liquid crystal display includes a first backlight source, a second backlight source and a liquid crystal panel. The first backlight source provides magenta backlight and the second backlight source provides green backlight. The first and second backlight sources are alternatively driven periodically to provide backlight for illustrating images. The liquid crystal panel comprises a liquid crystal layer and a color filter. The liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer are controlled for adjusting the transmittance of the backlight provided by the first and second backlight sources. The color filter includes red pixel areas, transparent pixel areas and blue pixel areas for performing color filtering operations on the backlight penetrating through the liquid crystal layer.
