A method for driving a display device is provided. The display device includes a first driving circuit and a pixel array. The driving method includes the following step. In a first mode, by using the first driving circuit, a first light emission start signal is received to drive the pixel array. The first light emission start signal includes a plurality of first pulses, and duration of each of the first pulses is respectively overlapped with at least a part of a period of each of a first frame and at least one second frame. In a second mode, by using the first driving circuit, a second light emission start signal is received to drive the pixel array. The second light emission start signal includes a second pulse. Duration of the second pulse is overlapped with at least a part of a period of the first frame, and the second light emission start signal remains at a first level in a period of the at least one second frame.

Method for driving display device

An OLED panel includes a data driver and an AMOLED. The data driver receives an input voltage and the data driver may generate a data output signal. The AMOLED may receive a positive supply voltage and a negative supply voltage and emit light according to the data output signal. In addition, the input voltage and the positive supply voltage are substantially the same.

OLED panel and power driving system associated to same

A pixel unit, method for sensing touch of an object, and a display apparatus incorporating the same are provided. The display apparatus includes a data line. The pixel unit includes a first switch circuit electrically connected to the data line and a sensing circuit electrically connected to the first switch circuit. The sensing circuit generates a signal in response to the touch of the object, while the signal is transmitted through the data line with the first switch circuit turned on. In addition, the display apparatus further includes a readout line. The pixel unit further includes a second switch circuit electrically connected to the readout line. The sensing circuit is electrically connected to the second switch circuit. In a first time period, the sensing circuit receives a reference voltage via the first switch circuit. Then the signal generated by the touch of the object is transmitted through the readout line via the second switch circuit in a second time period.

A solar cell includes a semi-conductive substrate, a doping layer, an anti-reflection layer, an electrode, a passivation stacked layer and a contact layer. The semi-conductive substrate has a front and a back surface. The doping layer is disposed on the front surface. The anti-reflection layer is disposed on the doping layer. The electrode is disposed on the anti-reflection layer and electrically connected to the doping layer. The passivation stacked layer is disposed on the back surface and has a first dielectric layer, a second dielectric layer and a middle dielectric layer sandwiched between the first and the second dielectric layer. The dielectric constant of the middle dielectric layer is substantially lower than the dielectric constant of the first dielectric layer and the dielectric constant of the second dielectric layer. The contact layer covers the passivation stacked layer and electrically contacts with the back surface of the semi-conductive substrate.

An auto focus device and method are provided. The device comprises a beam splitter set; a laser emitting device disposed at a first side of the beam splitter set for providing a laser beam to the beam splitter; a lens set disposed at a second side of the beam splitter set and opposing to the testing subject positioned at a third side of the beam splitter set for refracting a reflected beam from a testing subject for generating a light spot; and a photo detecting device disposed with respect to the lens set for receiving the light spot and generating a driving signal.

Microscope automatic focusing device and method thereof

A novel method for whole field thin film stress evaluation is provided. Through the provided method, the whole filed thin film stress distribution for an optical thin film would be developed with a commercial interferometer, so that a whole field evaluation for the crack or peel-off of thin film is hence achievable.

A detecting device for biochemical detections is provided. The detecting device includes a first substrate, a magnetic layer located on the first substrate, an isolation layer located on the magnetic layer, at least a first electrode located on the isolation layer, a first dielectric layer located on the first electrode, a first hydrophobic layer located on the first dielectric layer, a second substrate, at least a second electrode located on the second substrate and having a cathode and an anode, a second dielectric layer located on the second electrode' and a second hydrophobic layer located on the second dielectric layer. The first electrode is zigzag-shaped, and the cathode and the anode of the second electrode are comb-shaped and interlaced with each other.
