An electronic device is provided and includes a display panel, a light source, and a timing controller. The light source is disposed corresponding to the display panel. The timing controller is electrically connected to the display panel and the light source. The display panel refreshes a displayed content according to a first signal generated by the timing controller. The light source refreshes a brightness according to a second signal generated by the timing controller. The light source begins refreshing the brightness at a first time point. The display panel begins refreshing the displayed content at a second time point. The first time point is different from the second time point.

Electronic device

The present disclosure provides a substrate structure including a substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode, a first signal line, and a second signal line. The substrate includes a functional region and a peripheral region, and the peripheral region is adjacent to the functional region. The first electrode and the second electrode are disposed on the substrate and arranged along a first direction. The first signal line and the second signal line are arranged on the substrate and along the first direction and extend along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The first signal line is electrically connected to the first electrode, and the second signal line is electrically connected to the second electrode. The first signal line and the second signal line are electrically connected to each other in the peripheral region.

Substrate structure

The present disclosure provides an electronic device and a driving method thereof. The electronic device includes a pixel compensation circuit and a display panel. The pixel compensation circuit receives a pixel signal. The pixel signal includes multiple sub-pixel gray-scale values. The pixel compensation circuit compensates the sub-pixel gray-scale value according to the difference between the sub-pixel gray-scale values and the first threshold value to output an adjusted pixel signal. The display panel displays an image screen according to the adjusted pixel signal.

Electronic device and driving method thereof

A display data adjustment method is provided, including the following. First display data is received, and first grayscale values of first sub-pixels of different colors in the first display data are converted from a first color gamut space into color values in a second color gamut space. First weight values are generated according to the color values. Lookup tables are compared according to the first grayscale values of the first sub-pixels to obtain groups of first high grayscale values and first low grayscale values corresponding to the first sub-pixels. Second high grayscale values and second low grayscale values are obtained by calculation according to the groups of the first high grayscale values and the first low grayscale values and the first weight values. The second high grayscale values or the second low grayscale values are selected as second grayscale values of second sub-pixels in second display data.

Display data adjustment method

An electronic device includes gate lines, maintained at a low level voltage during a blank period and sequentially scanned during an active period in a frame period, and data lines. Voltage polarities of the data lines for all the blank period are respectively identical with voltage polarities of the data lines during the active period. A first level voltage applied to one of the data lines during all the blank period is related to an average value or a maximum value of level voltages of a portion or all of the data lines during the active period. A time length of the blank period in the frame period with the average value or the maximum value applied to one of the data lines during all the blank period is longer than a first time length of a first blank period in a first frame period adjacent to the frame period.

Electronic device and electronic device driving method thereof

A display apparatus for adjusting image data and a control method for the display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes a data line, a first pixel electrode, a second pixel electrode, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit generates first original image data and second original image data according to an original image, and generates display data according to a difference between the second original image data and the first original image data and a relationship between first polarity data and second polarity data. The processing circuit provides the display data to the second pixel electrode through the data line.

Display apparatus and control method for display apparatus

A display device is provided and includes a display panel, a light source, a light source controller, and a timing controller. The light source is adjacent to the display panel. The light source controller is electrically connected to the light source. The timing controller is electrically connected to the light source controller and the display panel. The timing controller includes a decoding unit and first and second processing units. The first processing unit is electrically connected to the decoding unit and the display panel. The second processing unit is electrically connected to the decoding unit and the light source controller. The decoding unit provides a refresh signal to the first and second processing units so that the display panel refreshes displayed content in a first refresh sequence according to first refresh rates, and the light source refreshes brightness in a second refresh sequence according to second refresh rates.

Display device and timing controller

A liquid-crystal antenna device includes a signal source, a driving module, a correction module, and a plurality of radiation units. The signal source provides an input electromagnetic wave. The driving module outputs a plurality of initial voltage signals according to a radiation address. The correction module receives the initial voltage signals and outputs a plurality of corrected voltage signals according to a lookup table. The radiation units respectively receive the corrected voltage signals and are coupled to the input electromagnetic wave to generate an output electromagnetic wave.
