A method for maintaining the inkjet chip of an inject device. The inkjet device comprises an ink cartridge, a carrier, a wiper and a wiper stage. The carrier is used to load the ink cartridge. The wiper stage is used to load the wiper. The ink cartridge contains ink and has an inkjet chip. The inkjet chip has at least a set of inkjet nozzles. The method comprises the steps of: (a) relatively moving the carrier onto the wiper stage to locate the wiper to a position where the wiper can wipe the inkjet chip; (b) spraying the ink contained in the ink cartridge onto the wiper to moisturize the wiper; and (c) relatively reciprocating the wiper stage and the carrier to make the wiper wipe the inkjet chip.

Method for maintaining inkjet chip of an inkjet device

A printer includes a position detecting mechanism for detecting and calibrating a position of a carriage on a track, and a print head installed on the carriage for printing a document. The position detecting mechanism has a first portion installed at a calibration position neighboring the track, and a second portion installed on the carriage. The calibration position is positioned within a document printing range of the print head so that the second portion is capable of passing by the first portion during a printing process.

A printing device includes a print unit for printing data. In each printing procedure, the printer separates at least a printing division from a path that the print unit passes through in the printing procedure and determines if the path includes a non-printing division according to the print data. The printer controls the print unit to move at a first velocity and print the document when the print unit passes through the printing division. If the path includes a non-printing division, the printer controls the print unit to stop printing the document and to move at a second velocity within the non-printing division when the print unit passes through the non-printing division.

Method and device for speeding up a printing process

An ink jet printer has an ink jet printing head with a plurality of nozzles, an ink jet compensation controlling device for driving the ink jet printing head, and a detecting device for detecting a status of the nozzles. When the detecting device detects at least one malfunctioning nozzle, the ink jet compensation controlling device selects a group of normal nozzles according to the position of the malfunctioning nozzle and controls the group of normal nozzles to form corresponding printing strips on the document. The printing strips formed by the normal nozzles cover an area of the printing strips normally formed by the malfunctioning nozzle.

An ink-jet output control method used to control the printing quality of ink-jet output device achieving an even distribution of ink dots is provided, wherein the ink-jet output device, being driven by a step motor, is a printhead carriage on which a printhead is mounted. The ink-jet output control method includes: firstly, to set a number of time pulse values of every two adjacent ink dots in each step of the step motor under different velocity models; then, store these set values which are non-identical in a memory unit; next, the printhead determines the time interval of ink-jet signal sending according to these set time pulse values; lastly, the printhead spreads ink dots on a recording medium with unequal time interval interpolation on receiving ink-jet control signals, such that ink dots are well distributed, an even interpolation and better printing resolution can be achieved.
