The present invention provides a scan driver and a display using the same. The scan driver includes multiple stages of driving units. The driving units are controlled by a start signal, a clock signal and at least one selection signal. The istage of the driving unit includes a shift register and a de-multiplexer. The shift register generates a scan signal according to the clock signal and a trigger signal. The de-multiplexer selectively outputs the scan signal to multiple scan lines according to the at least one selection signal. The trigger signal of the 1stage of the driving unit is the start signal, and the trigger signal of the (i+1)stage of the driving unit is the scan signal of the istage of the driving unit.

Scan driver and display panel using the same

A display substrate and a display device applying the same are provided. The display substrate includes a base plate and a display structure. The display structure is disposed on the base plate and includes first region. The first region includes a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel and two third sub-pixels. One of the two third sub-pixels has a first light emitting region having a first end point and a second end point. The other one of the two third sub-pixels has a second light emitting region having a third end point and a fourth end point. The first sub-pixel has a third light emitting region and the second sub-pixel has a fourth light emitting region. The third light emitting region and the fourth light emitting region are inside a quadrilateral region enclosed by the first, second, third and fourth end points.

Display substrate and display device applying the same

A display substrate and a display device applying the same are provided. The display substrate includes a base plate and a display structure. The display structure is disposed on the base plate and includes a plurality of display units arranged in an array. The display units have a core region and a peripheral region. The core region includes at least one first sub-pixel and at least one second sub-pixel. The peripheral region includes at least one third sub-pixel and is located outside the core region.

A touch testing system for a capacitive touch device and a method thereof are provided. The system includes a test fixture, at least one magnetization component, at least one magnetic induction component and a driving unit. The fixture is disposed on the touch device and has at least one chute on a position corresponding to the touching area. The magnetization component is disposed on the fixture and enabled by a driving signal to produce a magnetic force. The magnetic induction component is slidably disposed in the chute and inducts the magnetic force to slide along the chute, such that the sensing unit produces a touch testing information. The driving unit is coupled to the magnetization component and the sensing unit, provides the driving signal to enable the magnetization component and receives the touch testing information to feed back a testing result on the capacitive touch device accordingly.

Touch testing system and touch testing method thereof

The present invention provides an organic light emitting diode touch display panel including a substrate, a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes disposed on the substrate, a plurality of light emitting layers, a plurality of dielectric layers, a plurality of first electrode stripes, and a plurality of second stripes. Each light emitting layer is disposed on each first electrode, and each dielectric layer is disposed on each second electrode. Each first electrode stripe is disposed on the light emitting layers in each row, and each second electrode stripe is disposed on the dielectric layers in each row. Each first electrode, each light emitting layer and each first electrode stripe form an organic light emitting diode, and each second electrode, each dielectric layer and each second electrode stripe form a touch sensing capacitor.

Organic light emitting diode touch display panel

A display device comprises a pixel structure. The pixel structure includes a first transistor having a gate and circuitry to initially set the first transistor gate at a first voltage. In response to a data signal received over a data line of the display device, the first transistor gate is set at a second voltage. The first transistor gate voltage transitions from the second voltage to a third voltage that is higher than the second voltage by a reference voltage. A light element is coupled to the first transistor and configured to emit light in response to a current through the light element.

Pixel structure having a transistor gate voltage set by a reference voltage

A flat panel display, a display driving apparatus thereof and a shift register thereof are disclosed. The shift register is adapted for driving a flat panel display. The shift register receives an input signal and a clock signal. The shift register includes a delay unit and a buffer unit. The delay unit is used to delay the input signal for a half period of the clock signal and then output the delayed input signal. The buffer unit receives the delayed input signal, and provides an extra driving power accordingly. The buffer unit is operated by a fixed first voltage and a fixed second voltage.

A shift register circuit has a plurality of shift registers connected in series, each shift register having a phase-shifting element and a pull-high element, wherein the phase-shifting element receives a first input signal, a first clock signal and a second clock signal, and the first clock signal and the second clock signal are complementary in phase. The pull-high element is used for pulling up an output signal to a high logic level, and includes a logic unit, wherein no current path is established in the pull-high element when the shift register is operated in any type of periods.

Shift register circuit and pull high element thereof

A shift register includes a control unit, a signal switching unit and a buffer unit. The control unit determines whether to transfer an input signal from a first input terminal to a first output terminal according to a first control signal, and determines whether to conduct a first pre-defined voltage to a second output terminal according to a second control signal. The signal switching unit uses the signal output from the first output terminal as one of the considerations for determining whether to conduct a second pre-defined voltage to a third output terminal, and uses the second control signal as one of the considerations for determining whether to conduct the second pre-defined voltage to the first output terminal. The buffer unit outputs signal according to the signals from the first/third output terminals. Further, at least once, the second control signal is enabled after the first control signal has been enabled.

Shift register

An organic light emitting diode circuit of an organic light emitting display with voltage compensation technique includes a first capacitor, a first TFT, a second TFT, a third TFT, a reset circuit and an OLED. The first TFT has a first terminal for receiving a first voltage, and a second terminal coupled to its gate and a first end of the first capacitor. The second TFT has a first terminal for receiving a second reference voltage and a gate coupled to the gate of the first TFT. The third TFT is coupled to the first capacitor and receives a pixel voltage and scan signal. The reset circuit sets the first end of the first capacitor to have a first voltage level. The OLED has an anode coupled to a second terminal of the second TFT and a cathode for receiving a third reference voltage. The first voltage level is smaller than a voltage level of the first reference voltage.
