A temple unit for an eyewear includes two temples each including pivotally connected front and rear segments. The front and rear segments respectively include adjacent rear and front ends. One of the front and rear ends is formed with a protruding portion, and the other one of the front and rear ends is formed with a recess portion. The protruding portion has at least three non-coplanar first flat surfaces defining two convex corner sections. Any two adjacent ones of the first flat surfaces are connected to each other to define one of the convex corner sections. The recess portion has at least two non-coplanar second flat surfaces connected to each other to define a concave corner section engaging a selected one of the convex corner sections so as to position the rear segment relative to the front segment.

Eyewear and temple unit for eyewear

An electrode configured for use in a direct current electrical stimulation system, which includes a control circuit configured to provide a stimulating current, includes a main body and a plurality of pin members. The main body is electrically coupled to the control circuit to receive the stimulating current therefrom and includes a base wall and a surrounding wall cooperating with the base wall to define a receiving space for receiving an electrically conductive liquid. The pin members extend from the main body, are in fluid communication with the receiving space, and permit delivery of the electrically conductive liquid to a subject when the pin members are placed in direct contact with the subject.

Electrode

A cranial electrotherapy stimulation (CES) device includes a head support, a control unit configured to provide a stimulating current, and a primary arm module. The primary arm module includes a primary arm and an electrode unit. The primary arm is pivotally connected to the head support and is longitudinally extendible. The electrode unit is disposed at the primary arm and includes an electrode that is electrically coupled to the control unit and that forms a path for transmission of the stimulating current to a stimulating point of a subject when the electrode is placed in direct contact with the stimulating point.

Cranial electrotherapy stimulation device

A number of eyeglass frames with resilient structures and shields that have wide applicability are described. In one embodiment, an auxiliary frame has a resilient structure at its bridge area, and non-uniform shields. The shields have openings at their sides and retaining mechanisms. Due to its resilient nature, the auxiliary frame is adaptable to after-market sales for primary frames. In yet another embodiment, a primary frame has a resilient structure at its bridge area and has shields. Such a primary frame again allows it to be comfortably fitted to people whose heads are of different sizes and shapes.
