Provided is a projection device including a laser light source, a wavelength conversion element having wavelength and non-wavelength conversion regions, a diffuser element having first and second regions, a filter element, a beam splitting element, a first light valve, a second light valve, and a projection lens. During simultaneous rotation of the diffuser element and the wavelength conversion element, the first and second regions correspond respectively to the wavelength and non-wavelength conversion regions. The filter element is disposed in the first region, filtering out a laser beam emitted by the laser light source. The beam splitting element guides first and second sub-beams in a first beam passing through the first region of the diffuser element and the filter element respectively to the first and second light valves, and guides a second beam passing through the second region of the diffuser element to one of the first and second light valves.

Projection device with high color purity

The invention provides an illumination system and a projection device with the illumination system. The illumination system is configured to provide an illumination beam, and includes a coherent light source, a first and a second optical module, a first and a second diffuser element. A coherent beam emitted by the coherent light source is focused on a first position through the first optical module, and the first diffuser element is located at or near the first position. The coherent beam from the first diffuser element is focused on a second position through the second optical module. The second diffuser element is located on a transmission path of the coherent beam from the second optical module, and located at or near the second position. The coherent beam sequentially passes through the first diffuser element, the second optical module and the second diffuser element to form the illumination beam.

Illumination system and projection device

A light uniforming component including a light uniforming element and a frame is provided. The light uniforming element has a first side surface. The frame includes a side wall and a first elastic piece. The first elastic piece includes a first section and a second section. One end of the first section is bent and connected to the side wall. The second section is bent and connected to another end of the first section. The light uniforming element is disposed in the frame. A first fold line between the first section and the second section of the first elastic piece contacts the first side surface. A second fold line between the first section and the side wall is not perpendicular to an orthographic projection of an optical axis of the light uniforming element on the side wall. A lighting module and a projector including the light uniforming component are mentioned.

Light uniforming component, lighting module, and projector

An illumination system and a projection apparatus are provided. The illumination system includes a coherent light source, an optical module, and a first light-diffusing device. The coherent light source emits a coherent light beam. The optical module and the first light-diffusing device are located on a transmission path of the coherent light beam. The optical module has an optical surface and a light-diffusing surface, and the coherent light beam focuses on a first position through the optical surface of the optical module. The first light-diffusing device is located at the first position or in vicinity of the first position. The coherent light beam passes through the first light-diffusing device so that a diffusion angle of the coherent light beam is sequentially changed. A display frame exhibiting a uniform luminance is thereby provided by the illumination system and the projection apparatus of the invention.

Illumination system and projection apparatus

An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes multiple laser light source units, a light splitting element, a wavelength conversion module, and a filter module. The laser light source units include first and second laser light source units, respectively configured to provide first and second beams. The light splitting element is located on transmission paths of the first and second beams. When the wavelength conversion module rotates synchronously with the filter module, in a first period of time, the first beam is transmitted to the filter module via the light splitting element and then reflected to a wavelength conversion region via a first color filter region of the filter module, and the second beam is transmitted to the wavelength conversion region via the light splitting element. The first and second beams are converted to a converted beam, which is transmitted to the filter module.

An illumination system including a first excitation light source, a second excitation light source and a first diffusion element is provided. The first excitation light source emits a first excitation light beam, and the second excitation light source emits a second excitation light beam. The first and second excitation light beams have different colors. The first diffusion element is disposed on transmission paths of the first excitation light beam and the second excitation light beam, and the first diffusion element includes a first diffusion region and a second diffusion region with different diffusion degrees, wherein at least one of the first excitation light beam and the second excitation light beam sequentially passes through the first diffusion region and the second diffusion region. A projection apparatus is also provided. The illumination system of the invention effectively mitigates a speckle phenomenon of the excitation light beams to achieve a better optical efficiency.

An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes a first light source, a second light source, and a diffusion element. The first light source is configured to emit a first beam, and the second light source is configured to emit a second beam. The first beam and the second beam have different colors. The diffusion element is disposed on transmission paths of the first beam and the second beam, and has a first diffusion region and a second diffusion region with different diffusion degrees. The first beam and the second beam pass through the diffusion element once, respectively, wherein the first beam passes through the first diffusion region, and the second beam passes through the second diffusion region. The illumination system and the projection device invention may effectively resolve a speckle issue of the beams.

The invention provides an optical module, including a first frame body, a second frame body, a first adjustment member, and a first optical component. The first frame body is rotatably connected to a base body and includes a first adjustment portion and a boss, and the first adjustment portion drives the first frame body to rotate with a first axial line as a rotating axis. The second frame body is rotatably connected to the first frame body and includes a second adjustment portion. The first adjustment member is screwed to the boss and moves along the first axial line relative to the boss to push the second adjustment portion and drive the second frame body to rotate with a second axial line as a rotating axis. The first optical component is disposed on the second frame body. The invention further provides a projector including the foregoing optical module.

Optical module and projector

A projection apparatus including a projection lens, a light valve module, and an illumination system optically coupled to produce an image beam is provided. The illumination system further includes a plurality of first laser source modules adapted to emit a plurality of first laser beams, and a diffusion component disposed on transmission paths of the plurality of first laser beams, such that the plurality of first laser beams form a plurality of light spots at a plurality of locations on the diffusion component.

Projection apparatus with illumination system having plurality of laser modules

A light source device has a first light source assembly. The first light source assembly has plural first light source sets. The first light source sets are arranged around a first central axis. Each of the first light source sets has a first excitation light source and a first reflecting element. The first reflecting element is disposed between the first excitation light source and the first central axis to reflect a first excitation light of the corresponding first excitation light source, and thereby forming a laser beam. A projection apparatus has an illumination system, an optical engine, and a projection lens. The illumination system has a light source device and a wavelength-converting wheel. The light source device and the illumination system may improve the utilization efficiency of the condenser lens.

Light source device and projection apparatus

Provided is an illumination system including an excitation light source, a first light splitting element, a first light reflecting element, a wavelength conversion device, and a light filtering device. The excitation light source provides an excitation beam including a first sub-beam and a second sub-beam. The first light splitting element includes a first zone and a second zone. The wavelength conversion device includes an optical zone and a wavelength conversion zone. In a first time period, the first sub-beam is transmitted to the optical zone via the first zone, and the second sub-beam is transmitted to the light filtering device via the first light splitting element and the first light reflecting element. In a second time period, the excitation beam is transmitted to the wavelength conversion zone to be converted into a first conversion beam. Therefore, the structure can be simplified and the size can be reduced.

Illumination system having wavelength conversion device and projection device having the same

A filter module having at least one filter region is provided. The filter module is pervious to a first color light with a first waveband in a converted light, and filters a second color light with a second waveband in the converted light. The filter module includes an absorptive filter and a dichroic film. The absorptive filter is located at the at least one filter region, and configured to absorb the second color light with the second waveband. The dichroic film is located on the absorptive filter, and is pervious to the first color light and reflects the second color light. The absorptive filter is configured to absorb the second color light coming from the dichroic film, and is pervious to the first color light. The first waveband is greater than a first wavelength, and the second waveband is smaller than the first wavelength. A projection device is also provided.

Filter module and projection device

A light source module and a projection apparatus are provided. The light source module includes a blue light source, a red light source, a wavelength conversion wheel and a filter wheel. The blue light source provides a blue light beam. The red light source provides a red light beam. The wavelength conversion wheel is disposed on a transmission path of the blue light beam and has a wavelength conversion region. The blue light beam is converted into a green light beam by the wavelength conversion region. The filter wheel is disposed on transmission paths of the blue light beam and the red light beam. The filter wheel includes a filter region and a diffusion region. A filter spectrum of the filter region includes a first bandwidth and a second bandwidth. The first bandwidth and the second bandwidth are separated with each other.

Light source module and projection apparatus

An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes at least one laser light source providing at least one laser beam and a polarizing rotation module including a first axle, a first driving element, and a polarizing element. The first axle has a first revolution frequency. The polarizing element is disposed on a transmission path of the laser beam. The first driving element causes the polarizing element to rotate in a temporally sequenced manner. When the polarizing element is rotated, the laser beam is transmitted to the polarizing element at a specific frequency in a plurality of first time periods. The laser beam passing through the polarizing element has different polarizing states at different times. The specific frequency and the first revolution frequency of the first axle are not exactly divisible by each other. The invention can generate an image with uniform polarizing direction.

A projection apparatus and an illumination system are provided. The illumination system includes a light source, a first lens element and an optical wavelength conversion module. The light source emits a light beam. The first lens element is disposed on a transmission path of the light beam from the light source. The first lens element has a curved surface and a multidirectional-plane. The multidirectional-plane and the curved surface are disposed opposite to each other. The multidirectional-plane includes sub-planes facing different directions. The optical wavelength conversion module is disposed on a transmission path of the light beam from the first lens element. The optical wavelength conversion module converts a first portion of the light beam from the first lens element into a converted light beam. The converted light beam and a second portion of the light beam from the first lens element form an illumination beam.
