An information handling system includes a camera, a neutral density (ND) filter, and a processor. The camera captures video images for display on a display device of the information handling system. The processor communicates with the camera. The processor determines a brightness level of an ambient light and a first shutter speed of the camera. The processor sets a stop level for the ND filter based on the brightness level of the ambient light and the first shutter speed. In response to the stop level of the ND filter being set, the processor sets the camera to a second shutter speed.

Anti-flicker mechanism for a digital camera

An information handling system camera detects ambient light and applies ambient light brightness to determine whether to color correct a captured image with ambient color temperature or a color temperature associated with a display. For example, a first RGB ambient light sensor detects ambient light from the camera field of view. When the ambient light is below a predetermined brightness, the camera image sensor processor (ISP) applies color temperature of a second RGB ambient light sensor directed at a display to perform color correction. For instance, with camera that mounts on a display top side, the second RGB ambient light sensor is disposed at the bottom of the camera and directed at the display.

Information handling system camera visual image color tuning based on sensed ambient light color

An information handling system camera captures visual images of light directed by a lens towards an image sensor. The camera has an active illumination privacy shutter that disables the image sensor from capturing visual images by introducing illumination between the lens and image sensor, such as with a red light emitting diode that is seen as a red dot at the lens when viewed from in front of the camera. In one embodiment, the illumination is directed towards a light diffuser, such as a sheet of acrylic, that extends between the lens and image sensor when the camera is commanded to a privacy mode.

A makeup mirror display with multiple cameras and variable color temperature light source includes an adjustable makeup mirror, a makeup mirror display, at least two cameras, and at least one variable color temperature light source. The makeup mirror display is arranged at one end of the adjustable makeup mirror surface and includes at least one control button and a control circuit arranged therein. The at least two cameras are respectively arranged on a left side and a right side of the makeup mirror display and electrically connected with the makeup mirror display. The at least one variable color temperature light source is disposed on one side of the makeup mirror display and electrically connected with the makeup mirror display. Therefore, the user can perform makeup more efficiently and finish a more perfect makeup, so as to enhance the overall practicability and convenience.
