The invention relates to a transparent conductor provided with a base comprising a first a resin, a conductive layer comprising conductive particles and a second resin, and an intermediate layer composed of a third resin formed between the base and the conductive layer, wherein the glass transition temperature Tg of the intermediate layer is lower than the Tg of the conductive layer.

Transparent conductor

The present invention is a transparent conductor containing electrically conductive particles, a binder, and an ultraviolet absorber. The transparent conductor of the present invention is so arranged that the ultraviolet absorber in the transparent conductor absorbs ultraviolet light even during irradiation of the transparent conductor with ultraviolet light, and is thus able to suppress influence of ultraviolet light on the electrically conductive particles.

A transparent conductor includes a film-shaped or plate-shaped support and a transparent conductive layer that is disposed on the support and has a surface formed as a rough surface. The surface of the transparent conductive layer is formed so that a maximum peak height that shows a surface roughness of the surface is in a range of 0.35 &#x3bc;m to 0.43 &#x3bc;m, inclusive.

Touch panel that uses transparent conductor

The transparent conductor of the present invention comprises a conductive layer containing a conductive particle, a binder, a polymerization initiator, and a radical scavenger. In the transparent conductor of the present invention, the conductive layer contains the radical scavenger in addition to the conductive particle. Therefore, even when the conductive particle is pumped upon irradiation with UV rays, so that a radical occurs in the conductive layer, the radical scavenger contained in the conductive layer captures the radical. This restrains the radical from acting on the remaining polymerization initiator and thereby causing a side reaction. As a result, adjacent conductive particles are restrained from fluctuating the distance therebetween.

Transparent conductor and transparent conductive material

The present invention provides a transparent conductor comprising a substrate, and a conductive layer containing conductive particles and a cured material of a binder, wherein the binder has at least one substituent selected from the group comprising substituents represented by undermentioned general formula (1) to (4) on side chains thereofF&#x2014;(CF)n&#x2014;&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)F&#x2014;(CFCFO)m&#x2014;&#x2003;&#x2003;(2)F&#x2014;(CFCFCFO)p&#x2014;&#x2003;&#x2003;(3)  In formula (1) to (3), n, m and p each represents a positive integer.

A functional film of the invention includes a microparticulate-containing layer containing functional microparticulates. The microparticulate-containing layer inhibits the occurrence of cracks even when drawn 10%. When the functional film includes a microparticulate-containing layer containing conductive microparticulates, the microparticulate-containing layer exhibits a surface resistivity after drawn 10% which is at most 10 times greater than the surface resistivity prior to drawing. The invention thus implements a functional film which is unsusceptible to reduction or loss of its function due to deformation.
