A cover-fitted connector includes a connector housing that houses a terminal connected to a terminal of an electric wire, and a cover that covers the electric wire pulled out from the connector housing. The connector housing includes a connector housing body, and a connecting portion connected to the connector housing body. The cover includes a cover body, a connected portion connected with the connecting portion at a time of mating the cover with the connector housing, and a cutout portion having an end portion positioned at a boundary between the connector housing body to cover the connecting portion and configured to expose the connector housing body outside the cover at the time of mating the cover with the connector housing.

Cover-fitted connector

A connector with a cover () includes a connector housing () and a cover () fitted in the connector housing. The connector housing has a regulating rib () provided projecting in a second direction perpendicular to a first direction where the fitted cover is pulled away from the connector housing. The cover has a regulating groove () that is formed into a shape corresponding to the regulating rib, and into which the regulating rib is inserted when the cover is fitted in the connector housing. The regulating rib is formed to become larger in width in the first direction from a base end toward a tip in the second direction. Release of the fitting of the cover in the connector housing is regulated by the regulating groove and the regulating rib inserted into the regulating groove in a state where the cover is fitted in the connector housing.

A connector including: a first connector housing having a tube-shaped hood part; a second connector housing to be fitted to the first connector housing; and a groove part provided on the second connector housing, wherein a terminal receiving part of the second connector housing is positioned in the hood part so that the first and second connector housings are fitted to each other, wherein an end part of the hood part enters the groove part when the first and second connector housings are fitted to each other.

Electrical connector having vibration-resisting structure

Sealing material is injected into a cap receiving an electric cable joint without remaining air bubbles. The cap has an opening at both ends and receives the joint, the electric cable being in the upper side and the joint being in the lower side. The sealing material is injected into the cap from the lower opening. The joint is inserted into the cap from the upper opening. Or, the joint is received in the cap, the sealing material is injected into the cap from the upper opening, and the cap position is reversed. Or, the sealing material is injected into the cap, from the upper opening, the joint is inserted into the cap, and the cap is reversed. A cap holder receives the cap such that the upper and/or lower opening of the cap is covered.

Method of waterproof of electric cable joint

The mold for molding an electric wire protection cap includes an outer mold and an inner mold for forming a cap body of the electric wire protection cap, the inner mold including a first mold member and a second mold member, the first mold member including a projecting wall and a shaft, the second mold member including a notch for fitting the projecting wall thereinto and a hole for passing the shaft therethrough, wherein a gap for forming a locking lance is formed between an end surface of the projecting wall and an end surface of the notch, the second mold member can come off along the shaft, and the first mold member is rotatable around the shaft.

Mold for molding electric wire protection cap

The present invention is to provide an electric wire protective cap. The protective cap can be formed easily by a resin molding and prevents a seal material from leaking and improves waterproof. The protective cap includes a cap main body with a bottom, and a cover to be fitted to the cap main body and having a hole to insert electric wires. A joint portion of the electric wires is inserted into the cap main body and locked or fixed by the cover. The cover has a locking portion for the joint portion and a locking portion for the cap main body. The cover is an elastic packing material. An outer wall of the cover contacts firmly with an inner wall of the cap main body. The electric wires contact firmly with the hole of the cover. An abutting portion is disposed in the cap main body to prevent the cover from being pulled out. The cover is formed from a disk plate by making a cutout in the hole and overlapping end surfaces of the cutout.

Electric wire protective cap

An insulation cap of a wire joint of a joined electrical wire, the insulation cap including a cap main body for receiving the wire joint being formed by joining cores of a plurality of covered wires and an electro-conductive sleeve, and a flexible fastener provided on an inner wall of the cap main body for fastening the wire joint by contacting a rear end of the electro-conductive sleeve thereon. The flexible fastener is formed as an integral part of the cap main body by fastening a molding die through a hole provided at an opposite end of a joint insertion end of the cap main body. A plurality of flexible fasteners are provided axial symmetrically to extend toward a direction of inserting the wire joint from a base formed as an integral part of the inner wall of the cap main body.

Insulation cap and joined electrical wire using the same

A male terminal fitting and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed as including a plate-shaped contact protrusion () formed at one side for mating with a female terminal fitting, and a conductor clamping portion () located at the other side for clamping a conductor of an electric wire. The plate-shaped contact protrusion includes a base plate component () extending from the conductor clamping portion in a longitudinally elongated shape, and an overlapping fold plate component () laterally extending from a side of the base plate component. The plate-shaped contact protrusion further includes a flatness securing plate component () laterally extending from the base plate component and overlaps with the overlapping fold plate component to ensure flatness conditions of the base plate component and the overlapping fold plate component. In the method, a plurality of sequentially arrayed male terminal fittings are formed by stamping operation and a forming operation is implemented to form each of the terminal fittings into final shapes, respectively.

Male terminal fitting and method of manufacturing the same

A connector includes terminals having engagement parts. The connector includes a connector housing having chambers configured to insert and receive the terminals from the rears of the chambers. The connector includes projecting flexible locking arms including locking parts configured to lock with the engagement parts of the terminals. A single flexible arm is positioned to each of the chambers. The flexible locking arm has a front end supported on a front wall of the connector housing. The flexible locking arm has a rear end supported on a peripheral wall of the connector housing. The flexible locking arm includes a flexible part between the front and rear ends. The flexible part includes a locking part. The flexible part is flexibly deformable relative to an engagement part of a terminal. The locking part is lockable with the engagement part of the terminal received in a chamber.

Connector

A tubular connector housing is adapted to receive a terminal fitting coupled with an electric wire. An inner holder is accommodated in the connector housing so as to place the terminal fitting therein. The inner holder is slidable between a first position which allows the terminal fitting to be withdrawn from the connector housing and a second position which prevents the terminal fitting from being withdrawn from the connector housing. A through hole is formed in a side wall of the connector housing such that a part of an outer side face of the inner holder is actuated therethrough, in order to displace the inner holder between the first position and the second position.

A connector includes a connector housing configured to receive terminal fixtures inside of the connector housing. The connector includes a locking member including an arm having an end supported by an outer peripheral wall, and configured to lock with a mating connector in an engagement state due to flexible deformation of the arm. The connector includes a front holder inserted in the connector housing from an engagement side of the connector housing for preventing the terminal fixtures from falling off. The connector includes a flex-prevention locking mechanism between the outer peripheral wall and the front holder for preventing the outer peripheral wall from flexing.

A connector terminal which includes a terminal base portion; and a tab extending from the terminal base portion to come into contact with an opponent terminal. The tab includes a bottom face portion and a folded portion extending from the bottom face portion formed by bending. The bottom face portion and the folded portion at a foot portion of the tab overlap each other to constitute at least a threefold structure.

Connector terminal

A connector mounting structure includes a connector housing having terminal accommodating chambers, and wire connecting terminals accommodated in the terminal accommodating chambers. The terminals accommodated in the rightmost and leftmost ones of the terminal accommodating chambers are employed as dummy fixing terminals when the connector housing mounted on a printed circuit board. Fixing portions of the dummy fixing terminals are inserted into terminal insertion holes formed in the printed circuit board so that the fixing portions protrude from a rear surface of the printed circuit board. The fixing portions are secured to contacts of the printed circuit board by soldering.

Connector mounting structure

A male terminal fitting and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed as including a plate-shaped contact protrusion ( ) formed at one side for mating with a female terminal fitting, and a conductor clamping portion ( ) located at the other side for clamping a conductor of an electric wire. The plate-shaped contact protrusion includes a base plate component ( ) extending from the conductor clamping portion in a longitudinally elongated shape, and an overlapping fold plate component ( ) laterally extending from a side of the base plate component. A terminal anchoring lance includes a first anchoring portion and a second anchoring potion which are arranged apart from each other in a direction of inserting a female terminal The female terminal includes a first engagement portion corresponding to the first anchoring portion and a second engagement portion corresponding to the second anchoring portion. The second anchoring portion is arranged at the base of the terminal anchoring lance or on the wall of a connector housing on the extending line of the terminal anchoring lance. The first anchoring portion is formed as a tip of the terminal anchoring lance, and the second anchoring portion is formed as a projection. The second engagement portion is formed as a projection at the rear end of a female electrical contact portion of the terminal, and the first engagement portion is formed as a projection at the front end of the electrical contact. A pair of the second anchoring portions are formed on both sides of the terminal anchoring lance. In this configuration, the size and weight of a connector and the production cost of the connector are reduced. The number of components is also reduced without lowering the holding force of a female connector.
