A method for forming a case of an electronic device with a wireless communication function includes: (a) providing a pair of outer prepreg layers, each containing a fiber that permits permeation of an electromagnetic wave; (b) providing a plurality of inner prepreg layers, each of which includes: a first prepreg sheet that contains a first fiber, which permits permeation of an electromagnetic wave; and a second prepreg sheet containing a second fiber that prevents permeation of an electromagnetic wave and that has a strength higher than that of the first fiber; (c) stacking and pressing the inner prepreg layers to obtain an inner laminate; (d) disposing the inner laminate between the outer prepreg layers; and (e) forming the outer prepreg layers and the inner laminate in a mold. Case for an electronic device with a wireless communication function and method for forming the same

A method includes the steps of: (a) wrapping a stack of composite prepregs around a plate-shaped mold core to obtain a bag-like preform; (b) removing the mold core from the preform so that a receiving space is left in the preform; (c) inserting an airbag into the receiving space; (d) placing the preform together with the airbag in a mold; (e) inflating the airbag and hot pressing the preform within the mold until the preform is cured so that the receiving space is formed into a motherboard receiving space with a size sufficient to receive a motherboard of the notebook computer and so that the preform is formed into a one-piece flat housing body for the base of the notebook computer; and (f) removing the flat housing body from the mold and the airbag.

Housing for notebook computer and method for making the same

A golf club head includes a hollow head body, a metal plate, and a compression resistant plate. The hollow head body is formed with an opening. The metal plate is fixed to the hollow head body, covers the opening, and has a thickness ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 mm. The compression resistant plate is bonded to an inner surface of the metal plate and spans the opening.

In one aspect, the present invention relates to a method of joining wax patterns for fabricating a golf club head. In one embodiment, the method has the step of providing a prefabricated first wax pattern and a prefabricated second wax pattern, embedding a joining portion of the second wax pattern into a recess portion of the first wax pattern, heating a flange formed on the recess portion to make the flange soften, and using a flattening tool to fold the flange over and into a chambered receiving portion on the second wax pattern such that the first wax pattern and second wax pattern are melted into a whole, joined surfaces of the first wax pattern and the second wax pattern are joined tightly with no gaps, and a single wax pattern if formed.
