An electronic device, capable of identifying and displaying an object, includes an image capturing unit, a display unit and a processing unit. The image capturing unit is configured to capture the object. The display unit includes a transparent display panel and a backlight module, wherein the transparent display panel has a viewing side and a back side opposite to the viewing side, and the backlight module is disposed between the back side and the object. The processing unit is electrically connected to the image capturing unit, the transparent display panel and the backlight module, and is configured to receive an image signal captured by the image capturing unit to identify the object according to the image signal, control the transparent display panel to display information frame corresponding to an identifying result, and turn on/off the backlight module. An object identifying method for the electronic device is also provided.

Electronic device capable of identifying and displaying object, and object identifying method thereof

A display device includes an outer frame, a transparent cover, a back cover, a display module, and a separating structure. The outer frame has a display opening, the transparent cover covers the display opening, and the back cover is opposite to the display opening. The display module is disposed inside the outer frame and has a front surface facing the transparent cover and a rear surface facing the back cover. The separating structure is connected between the back cover and the rear surface of the display module. A first space formed between at least the transparent cover, the front surface of the display module, the outer frame, the back cover, and the separating structure is an enclosed space. A second space formed between at least the rear surface of the display module, the separating structure, and the back cover is connected to an outside and surrounded by the first space.

Display device

A display apparatus including a display, a prism module and a filter layer is provided. The prism module is disposed on the display. The prism module includes a transparent substrate and a plurality of prism structures. The prism structures are located on the transparent substrate, and a plurality of tips of the prism structures is located away from the display. The filter layer is disposed between the prism module and the display, or the prism module is disposed between the filter layer and the display.

Display apparatus

A display apparatus including a first display unit, a second display unit and a strip-shaped lens is provided. The first display unit has a first display area and a first edge area. The second display unit has a second display area and a second edge area. The strip-shaped lens is disposed on a boundary of the first edge area and the second edge area. The strip-shaped lens includes a light entering surface, a light emitting surface, a first stairs-shaped surface and a second stairs-shaped surface. The first stairs-shaped surface is located above a part of the first display area adjacent to the boundary, and connects the light entering surface and the light emitting surface. The second stairs-shaped surface is located above a part of the second display area adjacent to the boundary, and connects the light entering surface and the light emitting surface.

Display apparatus and strip-shaped lens

A display device includes a display panel, a transparent plate and at least one compressible transparent member. The display panel has a display surface. The transparent plate is disposed on the display panel and has a light incident surface and a first light emitting surface opposite to each other. The display surface and the light incident surface face each other, and the transparent plate has at least one side surface connected between the light incident surface and the first light emitting surface. The compressible transparent member is disposed on the side surface and has a second light emitting surface, and the second light emitting surface is tilted relative to the first light emitting surface. Moreover, a display apparatus including a plurality of the display devices is also provided. When the display devices are spliced to form the display apparatus, the problem of visible black lines of splicing seams is mitigated.

Display device and display apparatus

A transparent display device includes a transmissive light valve panel, a transparent plate and at least one light emitting assembly. The transmissive light valve panel has a display surface. The transparent plate is disposed with respect to the transmissive light valve panel to form an optical space between the transparent plate and the transmissive light valve panel. The at least one light emitting assembly is disposed beside the optical space and adapted to generate light into the optical space. A light pattern of the light emitted from the light emitting assembly and directed to the optical space has at least one maximum peak in an angular range of &#xb1;15&#xb0; with respect to a direction parallel to the display surface of the transmissive light valve panel.

Transparent display device

An optical diffusion plate and a light source module are provided. The optical diffusion plate includes a light incident surface, a light emitting surface, at least one pattern region, and a reflection layer. The pattern region is located on at least one of the light incident surface and the light emitting surface. The reflection layer covers a portion of the pattern region. The pattern region includes a central region located at a central position, a plurality of first circular regions, and at least one second circular region. The central region is surrounded by the first circular regions and the second circular region alternatively, and perimeter of the central region is adjacent to one of the first circular regions. Coverage rates of the reflection layer at the second circular region and the central region are higher than coverage rates of the reflection layer at the first circular regions.

Optical diffusion plate and light source module

A light source module including at least one optical film and a light source unit is provided. The light source unit is disposed under the at least one optical film, and a space is formed between the light source unit and the at least one optical film. The light source unit includes a plurality of light emitting elements and a plurality of secondary lenses. The light emitting elements are arranged along a direction parallel to the at least one optical film. The secondary lenses are correspondingly disposed on the light emitting elements and each of the secondary lenses has a patterned reflective layer. Each of the secondary lenses has a light hole radius R, a distance between a distribution range of the patterned reflective layer and a bottom of the corresponding secondary lenses is H, and the distribution range of the patterned reflective layer satisfies 1/R&#x3c;H&#x3c;3/2R

Light source module and light source unit

A display device including a plate, a first display module, a second display module, a first frame and a second frame is provided. The plate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other. The first display module and the second display module are disposed on the first surface and the second surface of the plate respectively. A display direction of the first display module and a display direction of the second display module are opposite to each other. The first frame is disposed on the first surface of the plate and surrounds the first display module. The first frame is for carrying the first display module. The second frame is disposed on the second surface of the plate and surrounds the second display module. The second frame is for carrying the second display module. The plate is clamped by the first frame and the second frame.

A display box is capable of supporting an electronic device. The electronic device is capable of emitting an image beam. A display box includes a box, a light-transmitting plate and a pivoting carrier. The box has a top-side opening and a viewing opening. The light-transmitting plate is obliquely arranged in the box and is capable of reflecting the image beam passing through the viewing opening to a target. The pivoting carrier has an accommodating recess and a first pivot axis. The pivoting carrier is disposed on the box. The pivoting carrier is pivoted beside the top-side opening by the first pivot axis. The electronic device is disposed in the accommodating recess, wherein the pivoting carrier rotates by the first pivot axis to make the electronic device face different positions.

Display box

A light source module includes a light guide plate (LGP), at least one light emitting element, a reflector, and a plurality of spacer units. The LGP has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, a light incident surface connecting the first surface and the second surface, and a plurality of optical microstructures. The light emitting element is located adjacent to the light incident surface. The reflector is adhered to the second surface through an adhesive gel. The spacer units are located between the LGP and the reflector, and sizes of the spacer units are larger than or equal to 1 micrometer. The adhesive gel includes a first adhesive gel and a second adhesive gel. The first adhesive gel is located between the spacer units and the LGP, and the second adhesive gel is located between the spacer units and the reflector.

Light source module

A light source module including a light guide plate, at least one light emitting device, a light-controlling pattern element, and an absorbing pattern element is provided. The light guide plate has a light emitting surface, a first surface opposite the light emitting surface, and at least one opening. The opening passes through the first surface and extends from the first surface toward the light emitting surface. The at least one light emitting device is disposed in the opening and arranged along an arranging direction. The light-controlling pattern element is disposed on the light emitting surface and covers the opening and the light emitting device. The opening faces towards the absorbing pattern element. The absorbing pattern element is disposed besides one of the at least one light emitting device and extends toward a side wall of the opening. Moreover, another two light source modules are also provided.

A light source module including a light guide plate, a plurality of light emitting devices, and a plurality of first reflective devices is provided. The light guide plate has a plurality of through holes and a light emitting surface. The through holes pass through the light emitting surface. Each of the through holes has a first side wall and a second side wall opposite the first side wall. At least one of the light emitting devices is disposed in each of the through holes. Each of the light emitting devices is capable emitting a light beam. The light beam enters the light guide plate from the first side wall of the through hole which the light emitting device is disposed in and leaves the light guide plate from the light emitting surface. The first reflective devices are disposed on the second side walls of the through holes.

A backlight module includes a back plate, a light guide plate, a heat insulation layer, a heat dissipation member, and a light source device. The back plate has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and an opening passing through the back plate. The light guide plate is disposed on the first surface, the heat insulation layer is disposed on the second surface, and the heat dissipation member is disposed on the heat insulation layer. The light source device is connected to the heat dissipation member and protrudes from the first surface to face the light guide plate through the opening.

Backlight module with heat dissipation structure

A driving apparatus and a driving method of a backlight module are provided. The backlight module includes multiple LEDs. The driving apparatus includes at least one thermal sensor, an optical sensor, and a processor. The thermal sensor is for detecting a working temperature of the LEDs. The optical sensor is for detecting brightness and color of the backlight module after a calibration function is enabled, to obtain difference values of the detected brightness and color with respect to predetermined brightness and color. The processor is for providing at least one initial thermal compensation table, to determine working currents of the LEDs associated with the working temperature. The processor further is for calibrating a content of the initial thermal compensation table corresponding with a current working temperature of the LEDs and storing the calibrated thermal compensation table as the initial thermal compensation table after the calibration function is enabled.
