An electric nail gun includes a flywheel, a swing arm unit, and an actuation unit. The swing arm unit includes a conversion member, and is operable to swing relative to the flywheel in a first direction between an initial position, in which the swing arm unit and the flywheel have a maximum distance therebetween, and a triggered position, in which the swing arm unit and the flywheel have a minimum distance therebetween. The actuation unit includes a pushing member that has a pushing surface facing the conversion member, and a pushing rod that is operable to move relative to the pushing member in the first direction between an extended position, in which the pushing member pushes the conversion member via the pushing surface thereof so that the swing arm unit is in the triggered position, and a retracted position, in which the swing arm unit is in the initial position.

Electric nail gun

A nail gun includes a frame unit, a flywheel, and a nail-striking device that includes an actuation unit, an impact member and an accidental discharge prevention unit. The actuation unit includes a safety subunit. The impact member has a confining portion. The accidental discharge prevention unit includes a restraining member located between the confining portion of the impact member and the safety subunit. The actuation unit is operable to convert the restraining member from a restraining state, in which the restraining member restrains movement of the confining portion of the impact member, to a releasing state, in which the movement of the confining portion of the impact member is permitted.

Nail-striking device and nail gun having the same

A heat dissipating device is adapted to be mounted in an electric nail gun that includes a flywheel being rotatable about an axis, a first pulley being spaced apart from the flywheel, and a transmission belt being trained on the first pulley. The heat dissipating device includes a second pulley, a weight disc and a heat dissipating member that are adapted to be connected coaxially and co-rotatably to the flywheel. The second pulley is adapted to be trained by the transmission belt. The heat dissipating member includes a plurality of fan blades extending in a direction of the axis such that, during co-rotation of the flywheel, the weight disc and the heat dissipating member, the fan blades create a flow of air for cooling.

A retaining device adapted for use with an electric nail gun includes a retaining member; a swing arm unit adapted to swing between a proximate position and a distal position with respect to a flywheel of the nail gun; an impact unit movably connected to the swing arm unit, including an engaging portion, and being movable between a pre-striking position, where the engaging portion is confined within the retaining member when the swing arm unit is at the distal position, and a striking position, where the engaging portion is removed from the retaining member; and a retrieving unit connected between the impact unit and the swing arm unit, and configured to bias the impact unit to move to the pre-striking position.

Retaining device for use with a nail gun

A retaining device adapted for use with an electric nail gun includes: a swing arm unit adapted to swing relative to a flywheel of the nail gun; an impact unit adapted to swing with the swing arm unit, and being movable between a pre-striking position proximate to the flywheel, and a striking position distal from the flywheel; a retrieving unit configured to bias the impact unit to move to the pre-striking position; and first and second positioning members connected respectively to the swing arm unit and the impact unit, and magnetically attracted to each other to prohibit removal of the impact unit from the pre-striking position when the impact unit is at the pre-striking position.

A striking device includes a swing arm unit, an impact member and two restoring units. Each of the restoring units includes a stationary seat removably connected to the swing arm unit, a moving seat removably and co-movably connected to the impact member, first and second coupling sets, and a resilient member interconnecting the stationary seat and the moving seat to bias the moving seat toward the stationary seat. For each of the restoring units, two portions of the first coupling set are formed respectively on the stationary seat and the swing arm unit and coupled removably with each other, and two portions of the second coupling set are formed respectively on the moving seat and the impact member and coupled removably with each other.

Striking device

A nail gun includes a gun body, a muzzle unit, a nail-feeding unit, a nail-striking unit, and a control unit for controlling the nail-feeding unit and the nail-striking unit to implement a method for feeding nails. The method includes the following steps: energizing a nail-striking solenoid valve of the nail-striking unit to perform a nail-striking operation on one of the nails; de-energizing the nail-striking solenoid valve, and simultaneously starting to count a predetermined delay time period in idle; and upon elapse of the predetermined delay time period, energizing a nail-feeding solenoid valve of the nail-feeding unit to perform a nail-feeding operation on another one of the nails.

Method for feeding nails in a nail gun and nail gun implementing the same

A retaining device adapted for use with an electric nail gun includes: a swing arm unit adapted to swing relative to a flywheel of the nail gun; an impact unit adapted to swing with the swing arm unit, and being movable between a pre-striking position proximate to the flywheel, and a striking position distal from the flywheel; a retrieving unit configured to bias the impact unit to move to the pre-striking position; and first and second positioning members connected respectively to the swing arm unit and the impact unit, and telescopically engaged with and in frictional contact with each other when the impact unit is at the pre-striking position, so as to position the impact unit on the swing arm unit.

An electric nail gun includes a supporting frame, a swing arm, a driving unit, and a safety unit. The swing arm has a driven segment and is pivotable relative to the supporting frame between a standby position and a shooting position. The driving unit includes a driving member in contact with the driven segment of the swing arm and operable for moving the swing arm towards the shooting position. The safety unit has a stopping member that is driven by the driving member to move relative to the driven segment between a stopping position, where the stopping member blocks movement of the driven segment, and a releasing position, where the movement of the swing arm towards the shooting position is permitted.

A flywheel device is adapted to be installed in an electric nail gun. The electric nail gun includes a main frame, a drive pulley rotatably mounted to the main frame, and a transmission belt. The flywheel device includes a flywheel pulley adapted to be mounted to the main frame, a flywheel connected coaxially and co-rotatably to the flywheel pulley, and a weight disc connected coaxially and co-rotatably to the flywheel and the flywheel pulley. The transmission belt is trained on the drive pulley and the flywheel pulley. During co-rotation of the flywheel pulley, the flywheel and the weight disc, a swing arm is pivotable to move an impact member to contact the flywheel for actuating a nailing process of the electric nail gun.

Flywheel device and electric nail gun having the same

A retrieving device is adapted to be installed in an electric nail gun. The retrieving device includes at least one stationary seat that is adapted to be connected to a swing arm of the nail gun and that has at least one stationary elongated hole being elongated in an extending direction, at least one moving seat that is adapted to be co-movably connected to a movable impact member of the nail gun, and at least one resilient member that interconnects the at least one stationary seat and the at least one moving seat, and that has at least one first end coil extending through the at least one stationary elongated hole and being movable parallel to the extending direction along the at least one stationary elongated hole.

Retrieving device and impact mechanism for an electric nail gun having the same

An impact device for an electric nail gun having a flywheel includes a swing arm unit and an impact unit. The impact unit includes an impact member adapted to be disposed between the flywheel and the swing arm unit, and a magnetic element set mounted to the impact member, spaced apart from the swing arm unit to form a gap therebetween, and providing a magnetic force which magnetically attracts a magnetically conductive component of the swing arm unit. The swing arm unit is movable between a pre-firing position where the impact member is not in contact with the flywheel, and a firing position where the impact member is in contact with the flywheel such that rotation of the flywheel drives the impact unit to move on the swing arm unit.

Impact device for an electric nail gun

A return device includes a return wheel unit adapted to be mounted to a gun body of a fastening tool, and including a return wheel that is movable between a free position, where the return wheel is not in contact with an impact member of the fastening tool, and a return position, where the impact member is at a strike position and is not contact with a rotatable flywheel of the fastening tool, and where the return wheel is in contact with the flywheel and the impact member such that, when the flywheel rotates in a first rotational direction, the return wheel is driven by the flywheel to rotate in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction, and moves the impact member from the strike position to a standby position.

Return device

A driving device is adapted for use in an electric nail gun. The electric nail gun includes a supporting frame. The driving device includes a swing arm unit, a control unit and a driving unit. The swing arm unit is swingable between a standby position and a shooting position. The control unit includes a control member having a driven end portion, and an abutting end portion opposite to the driven end portion. The driving unit is for driving the driven end portion of the control member to rotate between a driving position and a non-driving position, and includes a control-member biasing resilient member disposed between the driven end portion of the control member and the supporting frame.

Driving device

The present invention provides a handheld power tool having an impact block and an impact block return device. The impact block has a plurality of continuous teeth arranged along a lengthwise direction of the impact block. The impact block return device comprises a gearwheel engaged with the teeth of the impact block; a ratchet wheel rotating simultaneously with the gearwheel; and a clamping member operated in a first state and a second state, the clamping member contacting the ratchet wheel in the first state and the clamping member being separated from the ratchet wheel in the second state; wherein the impact block only can do a single-directional movement when the clamping member contacts the ratchet wheel in the first state. The present invention can improve stability of the retraction process of the impact block (e.g., a firing pin).
