A transparent conductive film comprises a substrate, a metal nanowire layer disposed on the substrate, and a water blocking protective layer, which has water absorbing particles and is disposed on the metal nanowire layer. The transparent conductive film has a first absorption peak in a 2750 cmto 3000 cmwavenumber region and a second absorption peak in a 3000 cmto 3750 cmwavenumber region using FTIR detection. A ratio of a maximum peak intensity of the second absorption peak to a maximum peak intensity of the first absorption peak ranges from 0.18 to 0.50, and a haze value of the transparent conductive film is 1.7% or less. The transparent conductive film can overcome the problems of poor bending resistance and visibility and can be appropriately applied to touch sensors due to bendability and high water blocking performance of the transparent conductive film.

A photosensitive electrically conductive structure includes: a substrate; a releasing photosensitizing resin layer disposed on the substrate; a nano silver layer disposed on the releasing photosensitizing resin layer; and a photosensitive electrically conductive layer disposed on an edge of the nano silver layer. A visible region is defined in the photosensitive electrically conductive structure where the nano silver layer is not covered by the photosensitive electrically conductive layer and a peripheral wiring region is defined in the photosensitive electrically conductive structure where the nano silver layer is covered by the photosensitive electrically conductive layer. The releasing photosensitizing resin layer has an average molecular weight (Mn) greater than 3,000 but less than 100,000, and the releasing photosensitizing resin layer, the nano silver layer, and the photosensitive electrically conductive layer are patterned. A touch sensor includes at least one layer of the photosensitive electrically conductive structure.

A transparent conductive film and method for making transparent conductive film and touch panel are disclosed. The transparent conductive film includes a substrate and a conductive mesh film. The substrate has a first surface. The conductive mesh film is formed on the first surface of substrate, and the conductive mesh film includes a plurality of silver nanowires. The conductive mesh film includes a plurality of meshes, and the meshes comprise a plurality of traces and a plurality of blank areas. The sheet resistance of the conductive mesh film is 5 &#x3a9;/sq to 30 &#x3a9;/sq, the width of each of the traces is 1 &#x3bc;m to 10 &#x3bc;m, and a transparency of the conductive mesh film to visible light is greater than 85%.

An electrode structure and a touch panel including the electrode structure are provided. The electrode structure includes a membrane layer and a metallic nanowires layer having metallic nanowires. A first portion of the metallic nanowires layer is covered by the membrane layer, and a second portion of the metallic nanowires layer is exposed out of the membrane layer. The membrane layer is made of a copolymer formed by mixing two or more materials having different functional groups.

A patterning process for forming a double-sided electrode structure includes: providing a substrate having two opposite surfaces, wherein a first photo-sensitive layer and a second photo-sensitive layer are respectively formed on the opposite surfaces; forming a first metal nanowire layer on the first photo-sensitive layer and a second metal nanowire layer on the second photo-sensitive layer; and performing a double-sided lithography process. The lithography process includes: performing an exposure process to define a removing area and a remaining area on both of the first and the second photo-sensitive layers; and removing the first and second photo-sensitive layers and the first and second metal nanowire layers in the defined removing areas by a developer solution, thereby patterning the first and second metal nanowire layers.

A touch sensing panel includes a substrate, a touch sensing electrode, an etching-inhibition unit, and a peripheral trace. The substrate includes a touch sensing area and a peripheral area. The touch sensing electrode and the peripheral trace are respectively formed on the touch sensing area and the peripheral area, and the etching-inhibition unit is at least formed on the touch sensing area. The touch sensing electrode is electrically connected with the peripheral trace and includes a first part of a metal nanowire layer, which is patterned. Touch sensing panel and manufacturing method thereof

A method of adaptive loop filtering for reconstructed video to improve the performance is disclosed. In one embodiment, a loop filter is selected from one or more candidate filters including a circular symmetrical filter candidate. The candidate filters also may include a &#xbd;-symmetry filter candidate and a flag is used to select between different symmetries. In another embodiment, a priority-based block filter merge is disclosed. A filter merge list consisting of no more than a first number of filter candidates selected from corresponding filters used by corresponding set members in the neighboring block set is generated according to a priority order of the set members in the neighboring block set. In yet another embodiment, the loop filter is shared by reconstructed video in multiple image units of a same group. The filter merge groups are identified by differences of consecutive group indices.

Method of block-based adaptive loop filtering

In one embodiment, a method receives a video bitstream corresponding to compressed video, wherein Filter Unit (FU) based in-loop filtering is allowed in a reconstruction loop associated with the compressed video. The method then derives reconstructed video from the video bitstream, wherein the reconstructed video is partitioned into FUs and derives a merge flag from the video bitstream for each of the FUs, wherein the merge flag indicates whether said each of the FUs is merged with a neighboring FU. The method further receives a merge index from the video bitstream if the merge flag indicates that said each of the FUs is merged, and receives the filter parameters from the video bitstream if the merge flag indicates that said each of the FUs is not merged. Finally, the method applies the in-loop filtering to said each of the FUs using the filter parameters.

Method of filter-unit based in-loop filtering

A method and apparatus for loop filter processing of video data in a video encoder or decoder are disclosed. Embodiments according to the present invention conditionally allow sharing of loop filter parameters. In one embodiment, sharing of loop filter information between the current block and a neighboring block is determined according to a condition. If the condition indicates that sharing of loop filter information is allowed, a merge flag is coded and incorporated in the video bitstream in an encoder, and a merge flag is parsed from the video bitstream and decoded in a decoder. In one embodiment, the condition depends on region partitioning of the picture, where region partitioning partitions the picture into regions and the region may correspond to a slice or a tile. The condition is set to indicate that sharing of loop filter information is allowed if the block and the neighboring block are in a same slice/tile.

Method and apparatus for loop filtering across slice or tile boundaries

A method of inter-layer or inter-view prediction for an inter-layer or inter-view video coding system is disclosed. The method includes receiving a to-be-processed block in the EL or the EV, determining a collocated block in the BL (Base layer) or the BV (Base View), wherein the collocated block is located at a location in the BL or the BV corresponding to the to-be-processed block in the EL (Enhancement Layer) or in the EV (Enhancement view), deriving a predictor for the to-be-processed block in the EL or the EV from the collocated block in the BL or the BV based on pixel data of the BL or the BV, wherein the predictor corresponds to a linear function of pixel data in the collocated block, and encoding or decoding the to-be-processed block in the EL or the EV using the predictor.

Method and apparatus of adaptive intra prediction for inter-layer and inter-view coding

A method and apparatus for processing reconstructed video using in-loop filter in a video coding system are disclosed. The method uses chroma in-loop filter indication to indicate whether chroma components are processed by in-loop filter when the luma in-loop filter indication indicates that in-loop filter processing is applied to the luma component. An additional flag may be used to indicate whether the in-loop filter processing is applied to an entire picture using same in-loop filter information or each block of the picture using individual in-loop filter information. Various embodiments according to the present invention to increase efficiency are disclosed, wherein various aspects of in-loop filter information are taken into consideration for efficient coding such as the property of quadtree-based partition, boundary conditions of a block, in-loop filter information sharing between luma and chroma components, indexing to a set of in-loop filter information, and prediction of in-loop filter information.

Apparatus and method of sample adaptive offset for luma and chroma components

In one implementation, a method operates by receiving neighboring reconstructed first-color pixels and current reconstructed first-color pixels of a current first-color block and receiving neighboring reconstructed second-color pixels of a current second-color block collocated with the current first-color block. The method then determines linear model (LM) parameters according to a linear model for one or more LM Intra modes. The method then receives input data associated with current second-color pixels of the current second-color block and generates a cross-color Intra predictor from the current reconstructed first-color pixels of the current first-color block using the LM parameters associated with a LM Intra mode selected from said one or more LM Intra modes. Finally, the method applies cross-color Intra prediction encoding or decoding to the current second-color pixels of the current second-color block using the cross-color Intra predictor for the selected LM Intra mode.

A method and apparatus for inter-layer prediction for scalable video coding are disclosed. Embodiments according to the present invention apply inter-layer adaptive filtering to the video data derived from the reconstructed BL video data to generate inter-layer adaptive filtered data. The inter-layer adaptive filtered data is then included as prediction data to encode or decode the EL video data. The video data derived from the reconstructed BL video data is up-sampled before applying inter-layer adaptive filtering. The up-sampling may also be included in the inter-layer adaptive filtering. In another embodiment, the inter-layer adaptive filtering comprises adaptive up-sampling. For up-sampled BL video data at locations not collocated with the EL video data, the up-sampled BL video data is divided into location types according to locations of the up-sampled BL video data. Each location type may have an individual filter for up-sampling video data in the group.

Method and apparatus of inter-layer filtering for scalable video coding

A method of adaptive loop filtering with implicit sample-based On/Off control for reconstructed video to improve the performance is disclosed. In one embodiment, each pixel of the video data associated with the reconstructed current image unit is classified into a first group and a second group. Adaptive Loop Filter (ALF) is then applied to these pixels belonging to the first group. For pixels in the second group, ALF is not applied. The image unit may correspond to one coding tree block (CTB) or one coding tree unit (CTU). Various classification means for classifying each pixel into a first group or a second group have also been disclosed. The adaptive loop filtering with implicit sample-based On/Off control may also be used as an additional mode in a system supporting block-based On/Off control.
