Device and method of handling flexible duplexing

A multiplexing method of uplink control information (UCI) for ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC) includes acquiring a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) resource, processing the PDSCH resource to generate a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource carrying the UCI, selecting an uplink resource from a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource, and multiplexing the PUCCH resource with the uplink resource selected from the PUSCH resource for transmitting the UCI of the PUCCH resource on the PUSCH resource. The PUCCH resource and the PUSCH resource are scheduled to be transmitted for providing at least two service types within a time period.

Multiplexing method of uplink control information (UCI) for ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC)

A user equipment (UE) receives physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a downlink slot as scheduled using a downlink control indicator (DCI). The UE identifies that the downlink slot is part of a group of downlink slots based on the DCI and/or another DCI corresponding to the group. The UE identifies one or more uplink slots at which to transmit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback corresponding to the slots in the group, and transmits the HARQ feedback at one of these uplink slots. If HARQ feedback is not received, a semi-static codebook may prevent HARQ payload size misalignment.

In the proposed control channel allocation method, the control channel searching method and the communication apparatus thereof, the UE-specific search spaces are extended except control channel element (CCE) aggregation level one. Further, a new CCE aggregation level is created in the UE-specific search spaces. The sum of the number of control channel candidates for all aggregation levels is bounded by the maximum number of PDCCH candidates. The mobile device is configured a plurality of component carriers (CCs) by a network of the wireless communication system. The plurality of CCs comprise a primary CC (PCC) and at least one secondary CC (SCC). The method comprises determining a plurality of weightings corresponding to the plurality of CCs according to an indication; determining a plurality of sizes of a plurality of sub-blocks according to the plurality of weightings; and dividing the soft buffer into the plurality of sub-blocks according to the plurality of sizes of the plurality of sub-blocks, to arrange a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes of the plurality of CCs in the plurality of sub-blocks.
