An example computing device may include a housing having an outer panel, the outer panel comprising a first array of openings through the outer panel, an inner panel opposite the outer panel, the inner panel comprising a second array of openings and a third array of openings different than the second array of openings and an actuator to move the inner panel relative to the outer panel between (1) a first position in which the second array of openings are at least partially aligned with the first array of openings and the third array of openings are out of alignment with the first array of openings, and (2) a second position in which the third array of openings are at least partially aligned with the first array of openings and the second array of openings are out of alignment with the first array of openings.

In an example, a sealing member includes a solid body portion and a peripheral beading hinged to the solid body portion. The peripheral beading has an inner perimeter corresponding to an outer perimeter of the solid body portion. Further, in a protracted position, the peripheral beading is to fit around an edge of the solid body portion bearing an interference fit with the solid body portion.

The present subject matter describes an electronic card holder. In an example implementation, the electronic card holder includes a housing having a slot to receive an electronic card. A slidable frame in the housing is to hold the electronic card. The slidable frame has a stud fittable in a groove in the housing. The card holder includes a resilient element with one end being coupled to the housing and other end being coupled to the slidable frame. The card holder further includes an actuating member coupled to the groove. When the electronic card is pushed inside the housing, the slidable frame is moved to lock the stud inside the groove and compress the resilient element. When the actuating member is pushed, the stud is released from the groove and the resilient element is relaxed to move the slidable frame such that the electronic card is pushed out of the housing.

In an example, a computing device accessory may include a components such as a computing device cover, an attachment portion engageable with a computing device, and a retention cup disposed on the computing device cover to attach to a computing device surface of the computing device through suction pressure.

In an example, a connector port assembly for use in an electronic device is disclosed. The connector port assembly may include a connector port, a fastener assembly and a flexible ring. The fastener assembly may fasten the connector port to a casing of the electronic device through at least one resilient member. The flexible ring may be disposed around an outer surface of the connector port. The fastener assembly and flexible ring may provide bend angle for the connector port.

A latch is disclosed. The latch has a hook that rotates to engage with a case for a computer. The hook has one side fabricated from a ferrous material. The hook is unlatched by placing a magnet near the ferrous material thereby causing the hook to rotate and disengage with the top case.

In one implementation, an electronic device comprises a first housing portion including a wall and a detent member on the interior of the wall and a second housing portion to attach to the first housing portion to form an enclosure. A retractable bolt member mounted in the second housing portion can engage the detent member in a first position and can disengage the detent member in a second position. The bolt member can be resiliently biased to the first position and at least part of the bolt member has magnetic properties that force the bolt member to be repelled to the second position if a magnetic field is applied outside the wall adjacent the detent to interact with the bolt member, so that the first housing portion can be detached from the second housing portion.

A door assembly for use with a computing device that includes a housing that defines an opening to an interior of the housing. The door assembly also includes a cover positionable over the opening in a secure closed position to help prohibit access to the interior of the housing and away from the opening in an open position to allow access to the interior of the housing. The door assembly also includes a flange assembly connected to the cover and coupled to the housing to translate within a cavity in the housing and create a hinge about which the cover moves from the closed position to the open position. The door assembly further includes an opening mechanism to release the cover from the secure closed position to the open position.

A hinge device includes a bearing seat, a spherical joint, a plurality of positioning pins, and a retaining ring. The bearing seat has a containing recess. The spherical joint is rotatably disposed in the containing recess, and the surface of the spherical joint has a plurality of positioning holes. The positioning pins are disposed at the bearing seat and capable of sliding toward or away from the spherical joint. The positioning pins correspond to parts of the positioning holes respectively when the spherical joint rotates to a specific position relative to the bearing seat. The retaining ring is disposed at an opening of the containing recess of the bearing seat and surrounds the positioning pins, the retaining ring is against the positioning pins to allow the positioning pins to be fastened in the corresponding positioning holes when the spherical joint rotates to the specific position relative to the bearing seat.

A power redundant power system and a method for controlling the power system are presented, wherein the power system is composed of at least one inverter for supplying AC power to a load through a bus, a phase lock system to synchronize all output voltages of the inverters and a current sharing circuit to properly distribute the load current among all inverters. Each inverter is controlled by an unbalanced power to limit the increase of its cross current. Moreover, the information related to DC bus voltage is further applied to control the inverters, whereby the cross current is mitigated and entire power system is operated steadily.

A parallel redundant power system and a method for control the same, wherein the power system is composed by UPS modules with outputs coupled in parallel to supply power to a load through a bus. The control method employs the P&minus;&ohgr; and Q&minus;V slope lines of the droop method to perform phase locking and current sharing. Moreover, the method further utilizes the internal impedance of the UPS in accompaniment with a current shift method to simulate an actual inductor being coupled to the output of the UPS module so as to satisfy the droop method. Therefore, the drawbacks otherwise caused from actual inductors such as the large size and heave weight are eliminated.

A method of measuring frequency samples a waveform, calculates waveform voltages based on an initial time base and adjust the time base for a particular waveform to determine the actual frequency of the measured AC power. A microprocessor can be used to implement the method so a small quantity of electronic elements is required, and the manufacturing cost is low.

A high frequency, voltage feedback control mode power converter having a microprocessor outputs a control clock signal and a simulated output voltage to control the dead-time value of a PWM controller. The control clock signal is decided by an input interrupt process program and an output interrupt process program written in the microprocessor. By appropriately providing the control clock signal for controlling the dead-time value of the PWM controller, the efficiency of the high frequency, voltage feedback control mode power converter is raised and an output steady response is also improved.
