An axial fan includes a fan frame, an impeller and a motor. The fan frame has a frame body, a base and plural connecting members. The base is disposed at the center of a side of the frame body. The connecting members connect the frame body to the base. The impeller is accommodated in the frame body and disposed on the base. The impeller has a rotating shaft, a hub and plural blades disposed around the hub. The motor is disposed on the base and connects with the rotating shaft to drive the impeller to rotate. When the impeller rotates forwardly, the airflow is induced to flow through the connecting members, blades, and one side of the frame body away from the base. When the impeller rotates reversely, the airflow is induced to flow through the side of the frame body, blades and connecting members.

Axial fan and control method thereof

Fan blade

A fan includes a frame and an impeller. The frame includes a main body, a plurality of guiding elements and a motor base. The main body has an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet. The guiding elements are disposed in the main body and located at the airflow outlet, wherein each of the guiding elements includes an inclined part and an axial extended part, and the inclined par meets the axial extended part at an angle. The motor base connects to the main body. The impeller is disposed on the motor base for providing an airflow, wherein the guiding elements guide the airflow away from the fan.

Fan and frame thereof

A control method of a fan rotation speed, which controls the operation of a fan set including fans connected in series, is disclosed. The control method includes the steps of acquiring a control factor; judging whether the control factor is less than a first threshold value; executing a first control procedure when the control factor is less than the first threshold value; judging whether the control factor is greater than a second threshold value when the control factor is greater than the first threshold; executing a second control procedure when the control factor is greater than the second threshold value; and executing a third control procedure when the control factor is less than the second threshold value.

Control method of fan rotation speed

A fan control method includes the steps of: acquiring a control factor; determining whether the control factor is located in a first range or a second range; executing a first dust removing mode if the control factor is located in the first range; executing a second dust removing mode if the control factor is located in the second range; and executing a normal mode if the control factor is not located in the first range and the second range.

Fan control method

A fan assembly includes a housing, a first frame, a second frame, at least one driving device, a supporting device, an active impeller and a passive impeller. The housing has an air-flowing channel, and the first frame and second frame are disposed at opposite sites of the air-flowing channel. The driving device is disposed on the first frame and actuates the active impeller to rotate. The supporting device is disposed on the second frame and has the passive impeller thereon. The passive impeller is propelled by the airflow generated by the active impeller.

Fan assembly

A serial fan module includes a first fan, a second fan and a plurality of guide elements. The first fan has a first frame body and a first impeller disposed within the first frame body. The second fan has a second frame body and a second impeller disposed within the second frame body. The guide elements are disposed between the first impeller and the second impeller, wherein the guide elements guide airflow from the first fan to the second fan. Each of the guide elements has an axial extended part and an inclined part and the inclined part meets the axial extended part at a camber angle. Each of the inclined part has an inner edge toward the first impeller and each of the axial extended part has an outer edge toward the second impeller.

Serial fan module and frame structure thereof

A fan assembly includes an active fan, a supporting base and a passive element. The active fan includes a first impeller and a motor. The passive element is driven to rotate by an airflow from the active fan. The passive element includes a impeller and at least one load. The load is connected to the impeller.

A fan includes an airflow guiding structure, an impeller and a guiding ring. The outer radius of the airflow guiding structure increases gradually from the top of the airflow guiding structure to the bottom of the airflow guiding structure. The airflow guiding structure includes a plurality of fins and a first space for accommodating a circuit device. The impeller is disposed on the airflow guiding structure and has a hub and several blades. The guiding ring connects to the airflow guiding structure via at least one connecting element. A predetermined distance is arranged between the inner surface of the guiding ring and the outer edges of the blades. An inlet is formed at the top of the guiding ring, and an outlet is formed between the bottom of the guiding ring and the outer surface of a sidewall of the airflow guiding structure. When the impeller rotates, the airflow enters the fan from the inlet and flows along the outer surface of the sidewall of the airflow guiding structure, then the airflow exits the fan through the outlet. The direction of the airflow passing through the outlet is different from the direction of the airflow passing through the inlet.

Fan and airflow guiding structure thereof

A fan includes an airflow guiding structure, an impeller and a guiding ring. The outer radius of the airflow guiding structure increases gradually from the top to the bottom of the airflow guiding structure. The airflow guiding structure includes a plurality of fins and a first space for accommodating a circuit device. The impeller is disposed on the airflow guiding structure and the impeller has a hub and several axial-flow blades disposed around the hub. The guiding ring is connected with the axial-flow blades. An inlet is formed on the top of the guiding ring, and an outlet is formed between the bottom of the guiding ring and the outer surface of the sidewall of the airflow guiding structure. When the impeller rotates, the airflow enters the fan from the inlet and flows along the outer surface of the sidewall of the airflow guiding structure, then the airflow exits the fan through the outlet. The direction of the airflow passing through the outlet is different from the direction of the airflow passing through the inlet.

A fan includes an impeller and a fan frame. The fan frame has a main body and at least one sound absorber, wherein the main body has a passage for receiving the impeller, a plurality of flanges are disposed on a periphery of the main body, a recess is defined between the two adjacent flanges, an aperture is disposed on a wall of the main body corresponding to the recess so as to allow the recess to communicate with the passage, and the sound absorber is disposed in the recess. Also, a cover is assembled in the main body and covers the sound absorber within the recess.

Fan and fan frame thereof

A heat dissipation fan includes a housing, a first rotor, a second rotor, a base and a plurality of static blades. The first rotor has a shaft and a plurality of rotor blades. The second rotor is coupled to the first rotor and has a plurality of rotor blades. The base is disposed in the housing for supporting the first and second rotors. The static blades are disposed between the housing and the base, wherein a rear portion of each static blade extends along an axial line of the heat dissipation fan for improving the working efficiency of the second rotor.

Heat dissipation fan

A heat dissipation module includes a housing, and a fan including an outer frame, a first rotor, a base, a second rotor and a driving device. The first rotor includes a shaft, a first hub and a plurality of first rotor blades disposed around the first hub. The base is disposed in the outer frame. The second rotor includes a plurality of second rotor blades, and is coupled to the shaft of the first rotor and disposed next to the first rotor. The driving device is supported by the base for driving the first rotor and the second rotor simultaneously.

Heat dissipation module

A heat dissipating device includes an outer frame, a first rotor, a base, a second rotor and a driving device. The first rotor comprises a shaft, a first hub and a plurality of first rotor blades disposed around the first hub. The base is disposed in the outer frame. The second rotor comprises a plurality of second rotor blades, coupled to the shaft of the first rotor and disposed next to the first rotor. The driving device is supported by the base for driving the first rotor and the second rotor.
