A controller for managing a battery pack includes: a detection terminal, for transmitting an enable signal when values of battery parameters for the battery pack satisfy a sleep condition, where the enable signal enables the detection circuit to detect whether the battery pack is connected to a load and whether the battery pack is connected to the charger; and a receiving terminal, for receiving a detection result transmitted by the detection circuit. The detection result indicates whether the battery pack is connected to at least one of the load and charger. The controller controls the battery pack to enter a sleep mode of the sleep modes based on the detection result. The controller also includes a control terminal, for transmitting a control signal to control an on/off state of a charging switch and/or a discharging switch. The control signal is generated by the controller based on the detection result.

Method of calibrating eye-tracking application and related optical system

An eye-tracking module includes a power management module, a sensing module and a processor. The power management module is configured to supply power according to a power control signal for operating the eye-tracking module in a corresponding mode, and provide a power status signal associated its power supplying status. The sensing module includes at least one image sensor configured to capture an eye image of a user at a sampling rate. The processor is configured to acquire eye characteristics of the user, the eye-movement information of the user, or vision information including user gaze coordinates according to the eye image. The processor is also configured to adjust the sampling rate, adjust its output frequency and/or switch the operational mode of the eye-tracking module according to the power status signal.

Eye-tracking module with scenario-based mode switching function

The vertical vibration isolation system of the present invention includes a bearing base, a guide rail assembly and a plurality of buckling elements. The bearing base has an upper platform that can move along a vertical direction. The guide rail assembly surrounds the bearing base and has a plurality of arc-shaped sliding channels. The top portion of each buckling element can move with the upper platform, while the bottom portion of each buckling element is slidably connected to the corresponding arc-shaped sliding channel. The vertical displacement of the upper platform would cause different degrees of buckling of the buckling elements and also induces sliding motion of the bottom portion of the buckling elements along the arc-shaped sliding channels. Accordingly, the vertical vibration isolation system can provide nonlinear restoring force by buckling and sliding mechanisms so as to exhibit vertical vibration isolation effect.

Vertical vibration isolation system

The geometrically nonlinear isolation system of the present invention includes a bearing platform, an isolator and a damper. The isolator is connected with the bearing platform and used for providing resilience against horizontal relative displacement between the bearing platform and the isolator. The damper is pin-jointed to the bearing platform and has an axis orthogonal or oblique to the horizontal direction. Accordingly, when the bearing platform and the isolator move with respect to each other along the horizontal direction, the angle between the axis of the damper and the horizontal direction would change with the horizontal displacement, and the damper provides damping force along a direction parallel to the axis of the damper so as to enhance horizontal vibration isolation effect.

Geometrically nonlinear vibration isolation system

A surge protection device has a pulse controlled switch, a pulse generation circuit and an abnormal voltage detection circuit. The surge control switch is connected in series to a power line loop and has at least one control terminal respectively connected to output terminals of the pulse generation circuit and the abnormal voltage detection circuit. An output terminal of the abnormal voltage detection circuit is connected to the power line loop and is located in the back end of the pulse controlled switch. The pulse generation circuit serves to send a pulse to the pulse controlled switch to close the pulse controlled switch and connect to the power line loop. When continuously detecting abnormal voltage in the power line loop, the abnormal voltage detection circuit opens the pulse controlled switch and disconnects from the power line loop so as to protect back-end equipment or circuit.
