A power conversion apparatus including a power converter, a first output port, a second output port, a load detection circuit and an output selection circuit is provided. The power converter generates a first and a second output voltages having different voltage specification. The first and the second output ports respectively provide the received output voltages to a back end. The load detection circuit is coupled with the power converter and the second output port and detects a load requirement of a load connected to the second output port to generate a load detection signal. The power converter generates a first switch control signal according to the load detection signal to control the output selection circuit, such that the output selection circuit provides one of the first and the second output voltages in response to the first switch control signal.

Power coversion apparatus

The present invention provides an LED current balance apparatus, which utilities capacitances coupled to secondary windings of a transformer to store voltage differences between LED strings. Thereby, the driving voltages applied to LED strings are respectively modulated to make the LED strings flowing through a same driving current. A current regulating apparatus is coupled to all LED strings to stabilize total current of the LED strings at a predetermined current.

LED current balance apparatus

A load driving circuit comprises a converting circuit, a converting controller, a load driving modulator, and a charge spike protection circuit. The converting circuit is adapted to be coupled to an output power source and supplies a driving power source to drive a load. The converting circuit has an output capacitance coupled to an output end thereof. The converting controller controls an amount of the driving power source responsive to a current or a voltage of the load. The load driving modulator and the load, connected in series, are coupled to the output end and so the load driving modulator adjusts an electronic state of the load. The charge spike protection circuit is coupled to the output capacitance and at least one connecting node of the load and the load driving modulator to provide a unidirectional charge release path to the output capacitance.

Load driving circuit with charge spike protection

A LED (Light-Emitting Diode) driving circuit including at least one light-emitting unit and a protection detecting circuit, is provided. Each light-emitting unit includes an LED string coupled to a driving voltage, a current regulator and a transistor. The current regulator is coupled to a corresponding LED string and controls a current flowing therethrough. The transistor is coupled between the LED string and the current regulator. The protection detecting circuit generates a clamping reference level signal to a control terminal of the at least one transistor and is coupled to a connection node of the at least one transistor and the at least one LED string. When a voltage of any connection node is higher than a preset protection value, the protection detecting circuit decreases the clamping reference value to reduce or cut off the current of the at least one LED string.

LED driving circuit

An LED driving circuit comprises a converting circuit, a current regulator, a converting controller and a low dimming protection blocking circuit, is disclosed. The converting circuit is adapted to perform a power conversion to provide a driving voltage for lighting an LED module. The current regulator is coupled to the LED module for regulating a current flowing through the LED module. The current regulator conducts and stops conducting the current flowing through the LED module according to a dimming signal, and executes a protection process when the LED module operates abnormal. The converting controller controls the power conversion of the converting circuit according to a voltage level of at least one connection node of the current regulator and the LED module. The low dimming protection blocking circuit stops the protection process of the current regulator when the driving voltage is lower than a predetermined value.

An LED driving circuit, adapted to drive an LED module, is disclosed. The LED driving circuit comprises a converting circuit, a converting controller, and a short-circuit protection circuit. The converting circuit, having a capacitor coupled to the LED module, is coupled to an input power source to proceed converting operation to supply an output current for driving the LED module. The converting controller controls the converting circuit to provide a stable current flowing through the LED module. The short-circuit protection circuit is coupled to the LED module in series and cuts the current flowing through the LED module off when detecting that the current higher than a current protection value.
