An information handling system, including a chassis; a bottom door coupled to the chassis; an assembly, including a bracket coupled to the chassis, the bracket including an opening; a slider moveably coupled within the bracket, the slider including a cavity at least partially in superimposition with the opening; a nut positioned within the cavity, the nut including a threaded opening; and a fastener positioned through an opening of the bottom door and within the threaded opening of the nut to position the bottom door such that the bottom door abuts the chassis, wherein when the slider is in a first positional state with respect to the bracket, the nut is constrained within the cavity, wherein when the slider is in a second positional state with respect to the bracket, the nut is rotatable within the cavity.

Tamper proof mechanism for an information handling system

A system includes a chassis assembly, a snap holder secured to the chassis assembly, and a second snap holder secured to the chassis assembly. A first tab clip may be snap-fitted onto the first snap holder to secure the first tab clip to the first snap holder, and a second tab clip may be snap-fitted onto the first snap holder to secure the second tab clip to the second snap holder. Each tab clip includes a soft component portion within the tab clip. A battery may be affixed to the first and second tab clips after the tab clips are secured to the snap holders.

Information handling system with a battery tab mechanism to optimize battery flexibility

A system includes a chassis assembly, a first boss component secured to the chassis assembly, and a second boss component secured to the chassis assembly. A first tab-bracket is secured to the first boss component and a second tab bracket is secured to the second boss component. Each tab-bracket includes a portion having adhesive applied thereon. A battery is affixed to the adhesive at the first tab-bracket and to the adhesive at the second tab-bracket after the tab-brackets are secured to the boss components.

Battery installation system and method therefor

Examples disclosed herein provide a system including a holder to secure a removable module. In one example, the removable module includes a plug comprising holes. The system further includes a receptacle mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB). As an example, the receptacle includes elastic members to make contact with the holes in the plug when the receptacle is to accommodate the plug of the removable module. As an example, the holder is slidable over the receptacle to constrain the elastic members of the receptacle to maintain contact with the holes in the plug of the removable module.
