A wavelength conversion device includes a main body, a counterweight element, and an adhesive. The main body has a first surface, a second surface, multiple through holes, and a recess. The recess is located on the central axis of the wavelength conversion device and is recessed into the main body relative to the first surface, and the recess has a blocking surface surrounding the central axis. The through holes has multiple segments, which are respectively partial inner walls of the through holes. The counterweight element is disposed in the recess and is supported by the blocking surface. An orthographic projection of the through hole corresponding to at least one of the segments on the second surface at least partially overlaps the orthographic projection of the counterweight element on the second surface in the direction parallel to the central axis. The adhesive at least partially covers the counterweight element.

Wavelength conversion device and manufacturing method thereof

A wavelength conversion element configured to receive an excitation light beam includes: a substrate configured to rotate about a central axis including a wavelength conversion region and a non-wavelength conversion region; and at least one wavelength conversion layer. When the substrate is rotated about the central axis, the non-wavelength conversion region and the wavelength conversion region alternately enter a transmission path of the excitation light beam. The substrate has a recessed portion located inside or outside of and surrounding the wavelength conversion region. The recessed portion includes an inclined surface. When the excitation light beam is incident on the inclined surface, the inclined surface reflects the excitation light beam to the wavelength conversion layer, and the wavelength conversion layer converts the excitation light beam into a converted beam. When the excitation light beam is incident on the non-wavelength conversion region, the non-wavelength conversion region reflects the excitation light beam.

Wavelength conversion element and projection device

A wavelength conversion module includes a wavelength conversion wheel, a driving assembly, thermal conductive adhesive structures, and a deflector. The wavelength conversion wheel includes a rotatable disc and a wavelength conversion layer. The driving assembly is connected to the rotatable disc, and the wavelength conversion layer and the thermal conductive adhesive structures are respectively located on two opposite sides of the rotatable disc. The deflector is connected to the wavelength conversion wheel along the axis through the thermal conductive adhesive structures. Heat dissipation channels are formed among the deflector, the rotatable disc and the thermal conductive adhesive structures. An air inlet is defined by each of the heat dissipation channels and the deflector near the axis, and an air outlet is defined between each of the heat dissipation channels and a periphery of the deflector. An area of the air inlet is larger than an area of the air outlet.

Wavelength conversion module and projector

A wavelength conversion module includes a ceramic substrate, a wavelength conversion layer, and a plurality of colloidal bosses. The ceramic substrate has a first surface. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the first surface of the ceramic substrate. The colloidal bosses are separately from each other disposed on the ceramic substrate and at least located on the first surface. The colloidal bosses and the wavelength conversion layer are separated from each other, and a heat resistant temperature of the colloidal bosses is higher than 500 degrees. The above wavelength conversion module has favorable heat dissipation effect.

A rotation-type optical module includes a driving element, a turntable, an optical material, a balancing ring, and a first weight substance. The driving element includes a body and a rotating shaft body. The turntable is sleeved on the rotating shaft body and includes a first surface and a second surface. The optical material is disposed on the first surface of the turntable. The balancing ring is disposed between the driving element and the turntable and includes a third surface and a fourth surface, and the third surface and the second surface face each other. The balancing ring includes an outer retaining wall and at least one inner retaining wall which protrude from the fourth surface, and the first weight substance abuts between the outer retaining wall and the at least one inner retaining wall. A projection apparatus including the foregoing rotation-type optical module is further provided.

Rotation-type optical module and projection apparatus

A wavelength conversion element includes a substrate, an adhesion layer and a wavelength conversion material. The substrate has a bearing surface having an adhesion zone. The adhesion zone has a central portion and two edge portions respectively on two sides of the central portion. The adhesion layer is disposed on the adhesion zone and includes a first adhesive and a second adhesive. The first adhesive is disposed at the edge portions. The second adhesive is disposed at the central portion. Operating temperature of the first adhesive is lower than operating temperature of the second adhesive. Viscosity of the first adhesive is larger than viscosity of the second adhesive. The wavelength conversion material is fixed on the bearing surface by the first adhesive and the second adhesive. A projection apparatus having the wavelength conversion element is provided, and the durability of the wavelength conversion element and the projection apparatus is improved.

Wavelength conversion element and projection apparatus

A wavelength-converting device has a light incident side. The wavelength-converting device includes an inner annular portion and an annular portion. The annular portion is connected to an outer edge of the inner annular portion. The annular portion includes a wavelength-converting portion, a first heat-conductive bonding medium, a reflective layer, and a wavelength-converting layer. A groove is annularly disposed in the wavelength-converting portion, and the groove is recessed from the light incident side of the wavelength-converting device. The first heat-conductive bonding medium is disposed in the groove. The reflective layer is disposed on the first heat-conductive bonding medium. The wavelength-converting layer is disposed on the reflective layer and has a light receiving surface. A projection apparatus is also provided.

Wavelength-converting device and projection apparatus

A light wavelength conversion element is configured to receive an excitation beam from a light incident side, comprising a substrate and a light wavelength conversion substance. The substrate has a surface facing the light incident side. The surface has at least one microstructure protruded toward the light incident side. The light wavelength conversion substance is disposed on the surface and covers the at least one microstructure. The light wavelength conversion substance is excited by the excitation beam and emits a conversion beam. The excitation beam forms an exciting light spot on the light wavelength conversion substance. The energy density distribution of the exciting light spot has at least one peak value. A position corresponding to the at least one peak value on the light wavelength conversion substance corresponds to a position of the at least one microstructure. Additionally, a projection apparatus is provided.

Light wavelength conversion element and projection apparatus

A wavelength conversion module and a projection device are provided. The wavelength conversion module includes a substrate, a wavelength conversion layer, a first reflective layer, and a second reflective layer. The substrate includes a first region and a second region. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the substrate. The first reflective layer is disposed on the first region of the substrate and located between the first region of the substrate and the wavelength conversion layer. The second reflective layer is disposed on the second region of the substrate and located between the second region of the substrate and the wavelength conversion layer, and a distance from a top surface of the second reflective layer to the substrate is shorter than a distance from a top surface of the first reflective layer to the substrate. The projection device includes an illumination system including the wavelength conversion module.

Wavelength conversion module and projection device

A light wavelength conversion element is configured to receive an excitation beam from a light incident side, comprising a substrate and a light wavelength conversion substance. The substrate has a surface facing the light incident side. The surface has at least one microstructure protruded toward the light incident side. A wavelength conversion module, a forming method of a wavelength conversion module, and a projection device are provided. The wavelength conversion module includes a substrate and a plurality of wavelength conversion units. The wavelength conversion units are located on the substrate, wherein the wavelength conversion units include a first wavelength conversion unit and a second wavelength conversion unit, the first wavelength conversion unit includes a first wavelength conversion material and a first doping material, the second wavelength conversion unit includes a second wavelength conversion material and a second doping material, the first wavelength conversion material and the second wavelength conversion material are different from each other, and the first doping material and the second doping material are different from each other. By the wavelength conversion units comprising different doping materials, low cost, good heat resistance and efficient light emitting are achieved.

Wavelength conversion module, forming method of wavelength conversion module, and projection device

A wavelength conversion module including a substrate and a wavelength conversion layer is provided. The substrate includes an axis, and the axis is located at the center of the substrate. The wavelength conversion layer is located on the substrate and includes two first wavelength conversion layers and a second wavelength conversion layer. Each of the first wavelength conversion layers includes a wavelength conversion material and a first bonding material. The second wavelength conversion layer is located between the two first wavelength conversion layers in a radial direction from the axis of the substrate to an edge of the substrate, and the second wavelength conversion layer includes the wavelength conversion material and a second bonding material. The first bonding material is different from the second bonding material. Moreover, a projection device and a forming method of the wavelength conversion module are also provided.

A wavelength-converting wheel, for converting an excitation beam having an output power greater than or equal to 100 W into a conversion beam, is provided. The wavelength-converting wheel includes a turntable having an annular irradiation portion, an adhesive layer disposed at the annular irradiation portion, a reflective layer disposed on the adhesive layer, and a wavelength-converting layer. The wavelength-converting layer is disposed on the reflective layer and has a light receiving surface configured to be irradiated by the excitation beam. The invention further provides an illumination system including the wavelength-converting wheel, and a projection apparatus including the illumination system. The heat dissipating ability of the wavelength-converting wheel is improved. The material of the wavelength-converting layer is not deteriorated or damaged due to the heat of the excitation beam. The wavelength-converting layer has improved wavelength conversion efficiency and can effectively convert a high output power excitation beam into a conversion beam.

Wavelength-converting wheel, illumination system, and projection apparatus

A projector and a wavelength-converting element are disclosed. The projector includes an illumination system, a light valve and a lens. The illumination system includes a light source providing an excitation beam, and a wavelength conversion device located at a transmission path of the excitation beam. The wavelength-converting element includes a substrate having a wavelength-converting area, an optical film disposed in the wavelength-converting area of the substrate, and a fluorescent film covering the optical film and converts the excitation beam into a converting beam. The converting beam and the excitation beam constitute an illumination beam. The fluorescent film contains phosphors, wherein the phosphors having a larger particle size are distributed among or above the phosphors having a smaller particle size. The light valve converts the illumination beam into an image beam. The image beam becomes a projection beam after passing through the lens.

Projector and wavelength-converting element

A wavelength conversion device includes a main body, at least one wavelength conversion layer, at least one heat dissipation plate, a heat conducting component and a driving unit. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on the main body. The heat dissipation plate is disposed on a side of the main body with an interval. The heat conducting component is connected between the heat dissipation plate and the main body. The driving unit is connected to the main body and the heat dissipation plate and adapted to drive the main body and the heat dissipation plate to rotate. The driving unit and the heat conducting component have a gap therebetween. In addition, a projector including the wavelength conversion device is also provided. The wavelength conversion device according to the disclosure has good heat dissipation efficiency.
