A double interface SD flash memory card includes a SD flash memory card and a USB adaptor. The SD flash memory card has a standard SD card interface and a circuit board, which has a microprocessor and flash memories. The USB adapter has at least a SD interface socket and a USB plug. The SD interface socket can be inserted with a SD flash memory card and the USB plug can be connected to other information devices. The double interface SD flash memory card includes a SD bus interface circuit for the SD flash card, a USB bus interface circuit for a system end, and an interface detection and switching circuit detect if there is an initialized signal from the system interface and switch to the SD bus interface circuit or the USB bus interface circuit based on result of the detection. The microprocessor can detect, identify, and support connecting signal of SD interface or USB interface automatically. When a signal is sent from the SD card interface or the USB card interface, the microprocessor will switch the circuit and relevant electronic elements in the circuit board to support the SD card or the USB card to access the data in the flash memories in the card.

A universal micro memory card has a unique common transmission interface designed according to USB specifications, USB pins and data transmission pins. The universal micro card detects what type a system interface connected to it is and the initialization signals are sent from the system end via the USB pins (D+ and D&#x2212;). Further, the universal micro card is switched to the corresponding working mode. In this way, the universal micro memory card enables signal transmission from/to different memory card systems via the common transmission interface.

This invention provides a universal flash memory card bank structure that can host various memory cards, comprising of an adaptor bank, a chassis, a top plate, and a bottom plate. The adaptors in the adaptor bank have sockets to host different memory cards. The adaptor bank is fixed on the chassis, and the sockets of it face against corresponding holes in the front of the chassis. The chassis with the adaptor bank is enclosed under the top plate and the bottom plate.

The present invention relates to a common connector for memory cards and a switching arbitration method for the shared Pins of the connector, i.e., a common connector which allows many different types of memory cards to be inserted in and fixed at different times. A multiple of rows/sets of different types of Pins are devised on one side of a baseboard of the common connector. And particularly, a set of shared Pins enables identification of interface signals from SD/MMC cards or SM cards. Under the control of corresponding memory card detection switches and switching arbitration circuits, the shared Pins can be connected to interface signals from a SD/MMC card or a SM card. Therefore, such a structure not only reduces the size of the common connector but also supports a multiple of types of memory cards.

The present invention relates to a common connector structure, which is a die-molded close receptacle with a socket to hold and fix different types of memory cards at different times. Said receptacle comprises of a set of leaf springs at both sides of the socket to detect and control the memory card inserted in the socket. A multiple of guiding and halt-protection elements are mounted at both sides of the socket to avoid miss-insertion of the memory card. Wherein, a multiple of rows/sets of Pins of different types are embedded on the baseboard in sequence, and the Pins extrude a little bit from the receptacle at one end to contact the corresponding interface jacks of the memory card; while they rises from the baseboard vertically to at the other end.

A multi-specification read/write signal transmission module for silicon disks, it is provided on the center of a &ldquo;U&rdquo; shaped base with a partitioning plate, an upper and a lower lid, so that the base is formed therein a first and a second receiving chamber. The first receiving chamber is provided therein at least with a vertically contacting pin set, and the second receiving chamber is provided therein at least with a horizontally contacting pin set, in order that when silicon disks with different specifications are individually inserted into the first or the second receiving chamber, they can contact respectively with the vertically contacting pin set or the horizontally contacting pin set. A combined flash memory card driver can be built in or externally connected to a computer or any other digital product to meet consumers' needs for data storage with the flash memory cards. A signal adapter for memory card serving as a signal bridge for transfer data between a memory card and a computer, etc, mainly comprise a base plate and an upper and a lower board, which enclose a plurality of overlapped slot space for receiving memory cards in different measurements. The signal adapter may be transplanting to a generic card reader to become a low-cost universal card reader for reading various memory cards.

The portable CD player and burner is provided for integrating a CD-ROM player and a video/acoustic player used respectively on two different systems including a computer and a video/acoustic household electric appliance at the terminal of a device. The portable CD player and burner mainly is comprised of a housing, a CD reading/writing unit, an operating unit, a main board, a multiplexer, a CPU, a memory unit, a signal converting unit and at least an output/input unit. A double interface compact flash memory card includes a frame and a USB interface unit. The frame contains at least a flash memory chip and a bridge circuit board module, a compact flash memory interface at one side, and a socket at the other side. The socket can accommodate a USB interface unit at one side thereof. The USB interface unit has several positioning grooves at the hinge end, which can be caught with a locating projection on the socket so that the USB interface can be located at different angular positions as desired.

A silicon disk card with a USB plug includes an electric circuit board with at least one flash memory and a bridging chip, and a module in the shape of a rectangular frame formed by injection molding of plastic. The module is provided on one side thereof with an interface pin board, and on the opposite side thereof with a slot to receive the USB plug therein, the slot having a leading function to lead the USB plug out of the module. An integral multiplex adapter card, it is provided in a housing meeting the size specification of a CF card with an electric circuit board assembly, the housing has thereon a receiving cassette. The electric circuit board assembly is provided on a single base plate thereof with a CF connecting end, a USB connecting end, a common chip set and a set of contact pins. In this way, a small silicon disk including an MS card, SD card or MMC card etc. can be inserted into the receiving cassette of the housing to output data on the silicon disks through the CF connecting end or the USB connecting end. Therefore, silicon disks of different specifications can be used for various digital products each with a CF card interface or a USB interface; these silicon disks thus can have commonness in use. Thereby, this can increase convenience of use of the digital products with a CF card interface or a USB interface each.
