An electronic apparatus and method for determining a reset thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a switch, a sensor, a reset circuitry and a control circuitry. The switch generates a trigger signal as being triggered. The sensor senses a property of an object or an environment external to the electronic apparatus and to provide a sensing information based on the sensed property. The reset circuitry is coupled to the switch and counts from an initial value to a predetermined value when keep receiving the trigger signal from the switch, wherein the reset circuitry further resets the electronic apparatus when counting to the predetermined value. The control circuitry is coupled to the switch, the sensor and the reset circuit and generates a control signal, based on the sensing information, for controlling the reset circuit to re-count from the initial value to the predetermined value.

Electronic apparatus and method for determining a reset thereof

A handheld device is provided. The handheld device may include a sensing unit, a control unit, an operating unit, a counting module and a mode control unit. The sensing unit is for generating a sensing result based on whether a user touch is received or not. The control unit is for sending out a periodic pulse to the sensing unit, and for periodically charging and discharging the sensing unit. The counting module is for counting a pulse number of the periodic pulse, and for outputting a counting value when the sensing result indicates that the user touch is received. The operating unit is for generating a mode control signal according to the counting value. The mode control unit is for controlling the handheld device to stay in a handheld mode or a non-handheld mode according to the mode control signal.

A touch-controlled electronic apparatus includes a loading plate, a touch panel, a flexible PCB, a sensor pad, and a control circuit. The loading plate has a display touch area, a wire area, and a hot bonding area. The touch panel is disposed on the display touch area of the loading plate. The flexible PCB has a touch button area and a control circuit area. The sensor pad is disposed on the touch button area of the flexible PCB and is used as touch buttons. The control circuit is disposed on the control circuit area of the flexible PCB. The flexible PCB is disposed and bonded to the loading plate, wherein the touch button area is disposed on at least one of the wire area and the hot bonding area.
