An OLED (organic light-emitting diode) pixel structure comprises a substrate, first and second control components, first, second, and complementary electrode layers, and first and second light-emitting layers. The first and second control components are disposed above the substrate and electrically coupled to, respectively, the first and second electrode layers. There are first and second neighborhoods defined in the pixel structure, and the substrate traverses both of the neighborhoods. The first electrode layer is disposed in the first neighborhood and comprises a reflective layer. The first light-emitting layer is disposed on and electrically coupled to the first electrode layer. The second electrode layer is transparent and disposed in the second neighborhood. The second light-emitting layer is disposed on and electrically coupled to the second electrode layer. The complementary electrode layer is disposed on and electrically coupled to the light-emitting layers.

Organic light-emitting diode pixel structure

A display panel uses demultiplexers to reduce numbers of data lines, and divides the data lines into groups being coupled to the demultiplexers respectively. The demultiplexers are disposed along an edge of the display region and compliant to the outline of the display panel, so as to save the layout space. In addition, the layout of control lines of the demultiplexers can be configured to more effectively utilize the layout space in the layout region. Furthermore, the aforementioned layout helps reduce the length of the conductive lines, and improves the transmission of signals in the conductive lines.

Display panel

A transparent display panel including a transparent substrate and a plurality of display units formed on the substrate is provided. Each of the display units includes a color light area and a least one of transparent areas disposed around the color light area. The color light area has a geometric center, a first color pixel structure, a second color pixel structure, and a third color pixel structure. The first, second and third color pixel structures take the geometric center as a center in each display unit and are disposed in a radial way corresponding to the center to form the color light area.

Transparent display panel and driving method thereof

A method for manufacturing an organic light emitting display panel is disclosed. The organic light emitting display panel includes a substrate. The method includes forming a plurality of bank arrays, each of which has a plurality of banks, utilizing a plurality of ink-jet heads, each of which has a plurality of nozzles arranged alternately, to move relative to the substrate along a moving direction perpendicular to a border of the substrate, and utilizing at least one of the plurality of nozzles to drop organic light emitting ink for forming at least one organic light emitting pixel in at least one bank. An oblique angle is formed between an arrangement direction of the plurality of banks and the border of the substrate. Each ink-jet head forms the oblique angle cooperatively with the border of the substrate.

Method for manufacturing an organic light emitting display panel and related organic light emitting display panel

The invention relates to methods of identifying a candidate compound which may inhibit estrogen receptor-dependent transcription or &#x3b1;9-nAChR overexpression and proliferation of nicotine-derived-compound-induced breast cancer cells by using an activating protein 1 (AP1) polypeptide. The invention found that &#x3b1;9-nAChR has an activating protein 1 (AP1)-binding site, that the &#x3b1;9-nAChR promoter is located at the AP1-binding site, and that ERs specifically bind to the &#x3b1;9-nAChR promoter at the AP1-binding site, indicating that ER-induced &#x3b1;9-nAChR up-regulation plays a central role in the response to endogenous (E2) or exogenous (nicotine) stimulation.

Method of identifying a candidate compound which may inhibit &#x3b1;9-nAchR overexpression or estrogen receptor-dependent transcription in nicotine-derived-compound-induced breast cancer cells

The invention found that overexpression and activation of &#x3b1;9-nAChR are associated with tumorigenesis of breast cancer and create a number of small interfering RNAs to inhibit the expression of &#x3b1;9-nAChR so as to inhibit breast cancer. Therefore, the invention provides small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) for inhibiting expression of &#x3b1;9-nAChR so as to inhibit breast cancer, methods to prevent/inhibit/treat malignant progression of nicotine-derived-compound-induced breast cancer and method of determining malignant level of such breast cancer.
