A method for LBT failure detection performed by a UE is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a MAC entity of the UE, an LBT failure indication from a lower layer for all UL transmissions; increasing an LBT failure counter when the MAC entity receives the LBT failure indication; determining an LBT failure event occurs when the LBT failure counter is greater than or equal to a threshold; and resetting the LBT failure counter after the MAC entity has not received the LBT failure indication for a time period.

A method for handling a Random Access (RA) procedure in a Bandwidth Part (BWP) switching operation is provided. The method includes: receiving a configuration of a first BWP through Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling from a Base Station (BS); initiating an RA procedure on the first BWP; receiving, during the RA procedure on the first BWP, Downlink Control Information (DCI) indicating a BWP switching from the first BWP to a second BWP; determining whether to switch to the second BWP in response to receiving the DCI; and in a case that the UE determines to switch to the second BWP: stopping the RA procedure that is ongoing on the first BWP; determining, after stopping the RA procedure, whether the second BWP is configured with an RA resource; and initiating, after determining that the second BWP is not configured with the RA resource, a new RA procedure on an initial BWP.

The method includes arranging user equipment to receive a downlink control channel signal associated with a physical downlink control channel; and configuring the user equipment to monitor the physical downlink control channel for control-resource set information. Devices and methods for wireless communication

A base station (BS) and a method for wireless communication are provided. The method includes transmitting a first radio resource control (RRC) configuration that configures a radio link monitoring configuration that includes a beam failure detection (BFD) timer and a beam failure indication (BFI) count threshold. The first RRC configuration enables a user equipment (UE) to: start or restart the BFD timer by a medium access control (MAC) entity of the UE each time a BFI is received from a lower layer; and initiate a beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure upon determining that the number of the received BFIs is greater than or equal to the BFI count threshold. The method further includes transmitting a second RRC configuration that reconfigures the radio link monitoring configuration. The second RRC configuration enables the UE to set the BFI counter to zero in response to receiving the second RRC configuration.

A method for a UE performing a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) process for a deprioritized uplink (UL) grant is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, a first UL grant scheduling a first UL transmission on a first UL resource and a second UL grant scheduling a second UL transmission on a second UL resource, the second UL resource at least partially overlapping the first UL resource in a time domain, determining the first UL grant as a prioritized UL grant, determining the second UL grant as a deprioritized UL grant, performing the first UL transmission scheduled by the prioritized UL grant, receiving a third UL grant scheduling a retransmission on a third UL resource, the retransmission corresponding to the second UL transmission scheduled by the deprioritized UL grant and flushing a HARQ buffer of a HARQ process for the second UL transmission in response to receiving the third UL grant.

The method comprises receiving, from a Base Station (BS), a first configuration indicating at least one of a scheduling offset, a common Timing Advance (TA), and satellite ephemeris information; receiving, from the BS, a second configuration indicating a TA offset for a TA variable; determining a UE-specific TA based on the satellite ephemeris information; determining a total TA based on at least one of the TA variable, the TA offset for the TA variable, the common TA, and the UE-specific TA; and starting, from a transmission by the UE, a time window after an additional time based on the total TA and the scheduling offset.
