A display module includes a first light guide plate, a first light shielding sheet disposed above the first light guide plate, a first light source positioned adjacent to the first light guide plate, a second light shielding sheet disposed under the first light guide plate, a second light guide plate disposed under the second light shielding sheet, and a second light source positioned adjacent to the second light guide plate. The first and second light sources emit different color light. The first light shielding sheet defines a first light transmitting pattern. The second light shielding sheet defines a second light transmitting pattern according to the first light transmitting pattern. An area of the second light transmitting pattern is less than that of the first light transmitting pattern.

A light guide element () includes a light guide plate () and a frame (). The light guide plate includes a first guiding portion (), and a second guiding portion () adjoining the first guiding portion. The first guiding portion has a first light-emitting surface (), a first back surface () opposite to the first light-emitting surface, and a light incident surface () connecting the first light-emitting surface and the first back surface. The second guiding portion has a second light-emitting surface () and a second back surface () opposite to the second light-emitting surface. A connecting portion () connecting the two guiding portions faces the light incident surface. The frame is integrated with the first guiding portion of the light guide plate.
