A fiber optic adapter includes an outer casing, two coupling members for removably engaging a ferrule end of a fiber optic connector and an auxiliary member for sleeving the ferrule end therein. The auxiliary member is operable to move relative to the coupling members between a locked position, where the coupling members are adapted to engage the ferrule end for preventing separation of the ferrule end from the fiber optic adapter, and an open position, where the auxiliary member moves the coupling members to disengage from the ferrule end, thereby allowing separation of the ferrule end from the fiber optic adapter.

Fiber optic adapter

A fiber optic adaptor assembly, to be inserted into a metal faceplate of a fiber distribution hub, includes a main body, a connector holder and a conductive ring member. The connector holder is removably inserted into an installation hole of the main body. The conductive ring member is removably sleeved around an outer periphery of the main body. The conductive ring member electrically contacts and cooperates with the metal faceplate to provide a shielding effect against electromagnetic interferences when the main body is inserted into the faceplate.

Fiber optic adaptor assembly having removable connector holder

A flat optical fiber cable assembly includes a flat optical fiber cable having an optical fiber cord and at least one tension wire, and a reinforcement mechanism having a reinforcing sleeve sleeved on the at least one tension wire, and a reinforcing body having an outer surface, a through groove indented inwardly from the outer surface, and a positioning groove that is indented inwardly from the outer surface, that is angularly spaced apart from the through groove and that has an engaging portion. The optical fiber cord is inserted into the through groove, and the at least one tension wire is inserted into the positioning groove with the reinforcing sleeve engaging the engaging portion.

Flat optical fiber cable assembly

A fiber optic adaptor includes two spaced apart engagement members protruding from a housing for connecting a ferrule member, and an auxiliary member disposed around the engagement members. The auxiliary member has a fixing portion and a moving portion. The moving portion is connected and movable relative to the fixing portion between pushing and non-pushing positions. When the moving portion is in the non-pushing position, the ferrule member is prevented from being detached from the engagement members. When the moving portion is in the pushing portion, the ferrule is allowed to be detached from the engagement members.

Fiber optic adaptor

An optical fiber distribution apparatus includes a panel extending along a first direction and formed with a first mounting hole and at least two second mounting holes spaced apart from the first mounting hole along the first direction. A plurality of rows of optical fiber connector adapters are arranged in a stack in a direction transverse to the first direction and are inserted into the first mounting hole. At least two multi-fiber push on (MPO) connector adapters are respectively inserted into the at least two second mounting holes.

Optical fiber connection apparatus

An LC optical fiber cable adapter includes a main body and a connecting mechanism. The main body includes a base wall, and first and second connecting walls extending respectively from opposite lateral edges of the base wall. The first connecting wall has a first front wall segment and a first rear wall segment. The second connecting wall has a second front wall segment and a second rear wall segment. The connecting mechanism includes a first connecting unit provided on the first front wall segment, and two second connecting units. Each of the second connecting units is provided on a respective one of the second front and rear wall segments of the second connecting wall, and has a contour matching that of the first connecting unit.

LC optical fiber cable adapter assembly

An optical fiber connector includes a housing unit, a fiber ferrule unit including a fiber ferrule and a resilient member, a connecting unit, a boot unit and a sleeve unit. The housing unit includes a housing body defining an internal space, and a first engaging member. At least a substantial portion of the fiber ferrule is disposed in the internal space. The resilient member is sleeved on the fiber ferrule. The connecting unit includes a second engaging member and a connecting member. The second engaging member abuts against the resilient member and engages the first engaging member. The boot unit completely receives the connecting member. The sleeve unit is sleeved on the housing unit and the boot unit and covers a juncture therebetween.

Optical fiber connector

An optical fiber connector includes a connector body and an actuating device. The connector body is adapted to connect with an adapter, and includes a main body portion having a tubular section, a resilient retaining arm portion extending inclinedly from the main body portion, and a pressing plate portion extending inclinedly from the main body portion. The actuating device includes a handle unit and two flexible rods extending from the handle unit and through the tubular section in the main body portion to connect with a free end of the pressing plate portion. The handle unit can be pulled to move the free end of the pressing plate portion to press a free end of the resilient retaining arm portion, thereby allowing for removal of the connector body from the adapter.

An optical fiber attenuator includes a connector unit, an insert component and an attenuation unit. The connector unit includes a shell member and having a first shell part, and a second shell part that extends from and forms a unitary body with the first shell part, that reduces in cross-section with respect to the first shell part, and that cooperates with the first shell part to define a through hole. A resilient portion is connected to and extends inclinedly and outwardly away from the second shell part and towards the first shell part. The insert component includes an insert body disposed in the through hole, and a trench formed in the insert body. The attenuation unit has one end inserted into the trench and another end inserted into the second shell part.
