A display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of standard pixel units, and a plurality of dummy pixel units. A plurality of first conductor patterns and a plurality of shield blocks of a shield pattern layer are arranged in an array above the substrate. Each of the standard pixel units includes one of the first conductor patterns and a first shield block of the shield blocks. The first shield blocks and the first conductor patterns are overlapped, respectively. Each of the dummy pixel units includes a second shield block of the shield blocks. The second shield blocks and the first conductor patterns are not overlapped. A first edge of the substrate is spaced apart from a second edge of one of the standard pixel units adjacent to the dummy pixel units by a first distance. The first distance is within a range from 50 &#x3bc;m to 3000 &#x3bc;m.

Driver circuit

A display panel including a pixel array substrate, an opposite substrate, and a display media is provided. The pixel array substrate includes a substrate, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of pixel units, and a gate driving circuit. The gate driving circuit including a plurality of first signal lines, a plurality of second signal lines, a plurality of dummy signal lines, and a plurality of contact structures is disposed in a peripheral region of the substrate. Each of the second signal lines is electrically connected to one corresponding first signal line. Each of the dummy signal lines is electrically connected to one corresponding second signal line via one corresponding contact structure. Each of the first signal lines is electrically connected to the corresponding second signal line via one corresponding contact structure.

Display panel, driver circuit, and manufacturing method of display panel

A device substrate including a substrate and 1st-stage to nth-stage driver units. Each of the 1st-stage to nth-stage driver units includes a pulldown element, a reset element, and an output element. A gate of the pulldown element is used for receiving a corresponding first start signal or a reset signal. A gate of the reset element is used for receiving the reset signal. A drain of the output element is used for outputting a corresponding gate driving signal. A gate of the pulldown element of the nth-stage driver unit is electrically connected with the gate of the reset element of the nth-stage driver unit so as to make the gate of the pulldown element of the nth-stage driver unit be used for receiving the reset signal.

Device substrate

A driving circuit including an output circuit, a pull-down module, conductive wires, at least one first signal line, and a buffer layer is provided. The conductive wires are electrically connected between the output circuit and the pull-down module. The output circuit and the pull-down module are electrically coupled to a driving control signal through the first signal line. A first overlapping region is located between the first signal line and a portion of the conductive wires. The buffer layer is disposed between the first signal line and the portion of the conductive wires. The buffer layer includes an overlapping portion and an extending portion. The overlapping portion is at least disposed in the first overlapping region. The extending portion is disposed outside the overlapping portion. A thickness of the overlapping portion is greater than a thickness of the extending portion. A display panel is also provided.

Driving circuit and display panel

A shift register includes a first voltage stabilizing unit, a second voltage stabilizing unit, a main pull-down unit and a main pull-up unit. The first voltage stabilizing unit is used to pull a first driving control signal to a low voltage terminal when a first stabilizing control signal is high. The second voltage stabilizing unit is used to pull the first driving control signal to the low voltage terminal when a second stabilizing control signal is high. The main pull-down unit includes a first sub-pull-down unit controlled by a second gate-terminal signal for pulling down the first driving control signal to the low voltage terminal during a first display mode, and a second sub-pull-down unit controlled by a third gate-terminal signal for pulling down the first driving control signal to the low voltage terminal during a second display mode. The main pull-up unit is used for pulling up a first gate-terminal signal.

Shift register pulling control signals according to display mode

A shift register includes a plurality of stages of shift register circuit. Each stage of shift register circuit includes a first switch, an input circuit, a pull-down circuit, and a pull-down voltage regulator circuit. The first switch is used to output a scan signal according to a voltage level of a node and a clock signal. The input circuit is used to pull up the voltage level of the node according to a signal from a previous M-th stage of shift register circuit. The pull-down circuit is used to pull down the voltage level of the node according to the clock signal and a signal from a following L-th shift register circuit and reduce current leakage at the node. The pull-down voltage regulator circuit is used to pull down the voltage levels of the node and the scan signal according to the voltage level of the node.

Shift register and method of driving shift register

A shift register group includes a plurality of series-coupled shift registers each being configured to provide an output signal. The third control signal of a first sift register of the plurality of shift registers is the output signal provided by the shift register N stages after the first shift register, and the fourth control signal of the first sift register is the voltage at the driving node of the shift register 2N stages after the first shift register, wherein N is a natural number. A driving method of the aforementioned shift register group is also provided.

Shift register group and method for driving the same

A shift register circuit includes a pull-down circuit, pull-down control circuit, a driving unit, a primary pull-down circuit and a gate driver circuit. The pull-down control circuit is electrically connected to the pull-down circuit and configured to provide an nth-stage pull-down control signal to the pull-down circuit. The a driving unit is electrically connected to the pull-down control circuit and configured to drive the pull-down control circuit. The primary pull-down circuit is electrically connected to the pull-down circuit. The gate driver circuit is electrically connected to the pull-down circuit and configured to output an nth-stage gate driving signal according to an nth-stage control signal. The driving unit is configured to receive a plurality of high-frequency clock signals and accordingly to pre-enable the pull-down control circuit, and n is a positive integer.

Shift register circuit

A video playing system and a method thereof are described. When the video playing system randomly plays sections of a multimedia video, it can control scheduled events in-between so as to ensure the user does not miss important events when an important blocking effect exists in the multimedia video schedule. During the random playing of the multimedia video, the video playing system will detect the scheduled event(s) between an original playing position and a new playing position. Then, the video playing system will execute the earliest scheduled event between the original playing position and the new playing position, or execute all of the scheduled events in sequence.

A shift register is disclosed. The shift register circuit includes a pull up control circuit configured to provide a pull up control signal; a first pull up circuit configured to provide a sensor driving signal in response to the pull up control signal and a second clock signal; a second pull up circuit configured to provide a gate driving signal in response to a first clock signal, the pull up control signal and the second clock signal; a first pull down control circuit configured to output a first pull down control signal; a first pull down circuit configured to pull down the pull up control signal, the sensor driving signal and the gate driving signal in response to the first pull down control signal; and a main pull down circuit configured to pull down the pull up control signal and the gate driving signal.

A gate driver circuit includes several shift register stages. One of shifter register stages includes a pull-up unit, a pull-up control unit, and an output unit. The pull-up unit is configured for generating a driving signal according to a first clock signal and an operating signal. The pull-up control unit is configured for generating a next-stage operating signal to a next-stage shift register stage according to the first clock signal, the operating signal and the driving signal. The output unit is configured for receiving the driving signal and generating a first gate driving signal and a second gate driving signal according to a first controlling signal and a second controlling signal, respectively.

Gate driver circuit

A shift register circuit includes first-type and second-type shift registers, each comprising a pull-down control circuit, a pull-down circuit, a key pull-down circuit, a 3D-mode pull-up circuit, and a 2D-mode pull-up circuit. The pull-down circuit is connected to the pull-down control circuit. The key pull-down circuit, connected to the pull-down circuit, pulls down a driving signal and a gate control signal. When the 2D-mode pull-up circuit operates, a first-type shift register generates a driving signal for a second-type shift register. When the 3D-mode pull-up circuit operates, a first-type shift register generates another driving signal for another first-type shift register.
