A solid state electrolyte having a garnet type crystal structure is provided. The chemical composition of the solid state electrolyte includes lithium, lanthanum, zirconium, oxygen, and sulfur. The content of sulfur in the solid state electrolyte is between 5 mol % and 35 mol % based on the content of oxygen in the solid state electrolyte. A solid state battery including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid state electrolyte layer is also provided. The solid state electrolyte layer is disposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The solid state electrolyte layer includes the solid state electrolyte.

An electrolyte is provided. The electrolyte includes a polymer, a lithium salt, and an organic solvent. The polymer is a polymerization product of a reactive additive and an initiator, wherein the reactive additive includes at least an amide group and at least an epoxy group or ethyl group. An electrolyte is provided, which includes (a) 100 parts by weight of oxide-based solid state inorganic electrolyte, (b) 20 to 70 parts by weight of [Li(&#x2014;OR)OR]Y, wherein Ris Calkylene group, Ris Calkyl group, n is 2 to 100, and Y is PF, BF, AsF, SbF, ClO, AlCl, GaCl, NO, C(SOCF), N(SOCF), SCN, CFCFSO, CFSO, CFCO, SOF, B(CH), CFSO, or a combination thereof, (c) 1 to 10 parts by weight of nano oxide, and (d) 1 to 20 parts by weight of binder. The electrolyte can be disposed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode to form a battery.

Provided is an electrode powder and an electrode plate for a lithium ion battery. The electrode powder includes a core and a nano-coating layer. The core contains a lithium compound. The nano-coating layer is disposed on a surface of the core and consists of a plurality of nanosheets.
