A display device and a driving method thereof are provided. In the display device, a display panel has multiple first pixel rows and multiple second pixel rows arranged alternately. In a first time interval, a first gate driver sequentially drives the first pixel rows using a first driving method. In a second time interval, a second gate driver sequentially drives the second pixel rows using the first driving method. In a third time interval, a third gate driver sequentially drives the first pixel rows using a second driving method. In a fourth time interval, a fourth gate driver sequentially drives the second pixel rows using the second driving method. One of the first driving method and the second driving method is a pulse amplitude modulation driving method, and the other of the first driving method and the second driving method is a pulse width modulation driving method.

Display device and driving method thereof

An optical sensor circuit is provided. In the optical sensor circuit, an output stage circuit transmits a voltage of first and second node to the output line according to a first driving signal. A first sensor is configured to generate a first photocurrent according to a first color light that senses an ambient light, and generate a second photocurrent according to a second color light. A second sensor is configured to generate a third photocurrent according to a third color light, and generate a fourth photocurrent according to the second color light. In a sensing phase, when the first sensor senses the first color light, and the second sensor senses the third color light, the first sensor adjusts a voltage level of the voltage according to the first photocurrent, and the second sensor adjusts the voltage level of the voltage according to the third photocurrent.

Optical sensor circuit

A sweep voltage generator and a display panel are provided. The sweep voltage generator includes an output node, a current generating block and a voltage regulating block. The output node is used to provide a sweep signal. The current generating block is coupled to the output node, includes a detection path for detecting an output load variation on the output node, and adjusts the sweep signal provided by the output node based on the output load variation. The voltage regulating block is coupled to the output node for regulating a voltage of the output node.

Sweep voltage generator and display panel

A pixel driving device includes a driving transistor, a pixel driving circuit, an optical sensor circuit, and a reset and reading circuit. Driving transistor controls a light emission device. Pixel driving circuit is connected to the driving transistor and resets according to a first sweep signal. Pixel driving circuit compensates according to a second sweep signal. Pixel driving circuit controls the driving transistor according to a driving signal to drive light emission device. Optical sensor circuit includes a node. Optical sensor circuit resets the node to a voltage level of the driving signal. Light sensing circuit performs sensing to generate a light sensing signal. Reset and reading circuit is connected to the driving transistor, the pixel driving circuit, and the optical sensor circuit. Reset and reading circuit receives a reset and reading signal so as to reset the pixel driving circuit and to read out the light sensing signal.

Pixel driving device

A pixel driving device includes a capacitance, a reset circuit, a compensation circuit, a driving transistor and a first transistor. Reset circuit and compensation circuit are coupled to a first end and a second end of capacitance. First transistor is coupled between second end of driving transistor and second end of capacitance. Reset circuit resets first end of capacitance at a power supply voltage and reset second end of capacitance at a reference voltage according to a first sweep signal respectively. Compensation circuit writes a data voltage into first end of capacitance via driving transistor and second end of capacitance is maintained at reference voltage according to a second sweep signal. First transistor generates a driving voltage difference between first end and second end of capacitance according to a control signal. Driving transistor outputs a current to a luminous element according to driving voltage difference.

Pixel driving device and method for driving pixel

A pixel compensation circuit including a light emitting diode, a drive unit, a control unit, a data write-in unit, a reset unit, and a pull-down unit is disclosed. The control unit is configured to control a voltage drop time of the first node according to a data voltage value received by the data write-in unit, so as to control a gray scale of the light emitting diode. The data write-in unit includes a first transistor, a second transistor, a third transistor and a capacitor. The first transistor is connected to a first voltage source and a second node. The second transistor is connected to the second node and a third node. The third transistor is connected to the third node and a data input source. The first capacitor is connected to the second node and a first reference voltage source.

Pixel compensation circuit

A pixel circuit including a driving transistor, a light emission element, a compensation circuit, a storage capacitor, and a writing circuit is provided. The light emission control circuit is configured to selectively conduct the light emission element to the driving transistor. The compensation circuit is coupled with the light emission control circuit and a control terminal of the driving transistor, and is configured to form a diode-connected structure with the driving transistor. The storage capacitor includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal of the storage capacitor is coupled with the control terminal of the driving transistor, and the light emission control circuit is configured to selectively conduct the second terminal of the storage capacitor to a first power terminal. The writing circuit is configured to provide different voltages to the first terminal of the storage capacitor and the second terminal of the storage capacitor.

Pixel circuit, pixel structure, and related pixel array

An optical sensing circuit includes a first light sensor, a second light sensor, a third light sensor, a capacitor, and a sampling circuit. The first light sensor, the second light sensor, and the third light sensor are respectively covered by a first color filter, a second color filter, and a third color filter. The first light sensor is coupled to the capacitor, the sampling circuit, and the third light sensor. The second light sensor is coupled to the first light sensor and is configured to receive a first sensing signal. The third light sensor is coupled between the first light sensor and a voltage source.

Optical sensing circuit

An optical sensing circuit has a plurality of optical sensing units arranged so that the optical sensing circuit is ambient light insensitive or sensitive to light within certain spectrum. The sensitive spectra corresponding to the plurality of optical sensing units are different from one another.

A shift register circuit includes a driving unit outputting a first scan signal according to a first clock signal; a pull up unit outputting a driving voltage according to one of a second scan signal and a third scan signal; a pull down unit pulling down voltage of an output end according to a second clock signal; a pull down control unit controlling the voltage of the output end and a driving node according to the first clock signal; a reset unit pulling down the voltage level of the driving node according to a touch-enable signal; and an electric storage unit adjusting the voltage of the driving node according to a touch-stop signal. When the touch-enable signal is enabled, the clock signals and the touch-stop signal are disabled, and when the touch-stop signal is enabled, the clock signals and the touch-enable signal are disabled.

Touch display apparatus and shift register thereof

A liquid crystal (LC) pixel circuit of a LC display panel includes a first, a second, a third and a fourth switches, a LC capacitor and a storage capacitor. A first and a control terminals of the first switch respectively receive a common voltage and a first gate signal. A first and a control terminals of the second switch respectively receive a data voltage and a second gate signal. The storage capacitor and the LC capacitor electrically connect between second terminals of the first and second switches. A first and a control terminals of the third switch respectively receive the common voltage and a third gate signal. A first and a control terminals of the fourth switch respectively receive a set voltage and a fourth gate signal. Second terminals of the third and the fourth switches respectively connect to the second terminals of the second and the first switches.

Liquid crystal pixel circuit of liquid crystal display panel and driving method thereof

A gate driver has a plurality of shift registers. Each of the shift registers has at least three input terminals, two signal input terminals, a pull-up circuit, a driving circuit, a stability pull-down control circuit, and a stability pull-down circuit. The three input terminals of each shift register receive three different clock signals. Accordingly, the driving circuit and the stability pull-down control circuit of each shift register are controlled according to the three clock signals, such that a glitch causing by the coupling effect of the parasitic capacitor of the driving circuit is avoided and the stability of the gate driver is improved.
