The present invention provides a method for preparing a reconstituted apolipoprotein B lipoparticle and the method comprises steps of (a) dissolving an apolipoprotein B and a lipid in a first buffer containing 2 M to 8 M urea and 1 wt % to 15 wt % amphiphilic compounds to form a mixture; and (b) dialyzing the mixture against a second buffer containing 0 M to 2M urea and 0 wt % to 0.5 wt % amphiphilic compounds for 1 to several times for lowering concentrations of the urea and the amphiphilic compounds in the mixture. The present invention further provides an apolipoprotein B lipoparticle and a use for the production of an apolipoprotein B lipoparticle used for delivering a hydrophobic substance.

The present invention provides a driving unit for an analog meter. The size of the driving unit is modified into a column shape, so that the first tape and second tape of the stator unit can be placed in double layers, guiding more pins of the input terminal from the same side. The driving unit can simplify the manufacturing process, and the size of the components of the driving unit are greatly reduced, making assembly more flexible or emptying more space for other components. The more concentrated pin can be connected easily or can be provided with more options for connection.

A highly magnetically aligned metallothionein (MT) containing manganese (Mn) and cadmium (Cd) has been synthesized. The metallotionein has a formula of MnCdMT with x being in the range of 1 to 6. Its size and biological functions are similar as those of the native metallothionein as tested by dynamic light scattering, UV, and CD spectroscopic experimental methods. Its maximum magnetic moment per formula unit, in saturation field, is estimated to be 19.46 &#x3bc;, and persists from 277 to 330 K.
