A power supply having a bidirectional gate driving impulse transformer. The power supply includes a transformer, a first Buck converter, the bidirectional gate driving impulse transformer, a primary side controller, a secondary side controller, a first optocoupler, and a second optocoupler; the transformer voltage-transforms a power input from a power inlet and generates an output voltage; the first Buck converter bucks the power input from the power inlet and generates a power voltage; the bidirectional gate driving impulse transformer is powered by either the output voltage or the power voltage; the primary side controller is powered by the power voltage, and the secondary side controller is powered by the output voltage; wherein the bidirectional gate driving impulse transformer drives the transformer according to either a primary side control signal from the primary side controller or a secondary side control signal from the secondary side controller.

Power supply having bidirectional gate driving impulse transformer and control method thereof

A power supply device with improved current balancing mechanism includes a power supply module, and a current detecting module detecting the output current to generate a sample voltage. A compensation voltage is provided that is in superposition with the sample voltage to synthesizes a corrected sample voltage, and a current mirror unit receives the corrected sample voltage at a first end. A positive input end of a comparator unit is connected to a second end of the current mirror unit, and is connected to the first end through a voltage divider, while the comparator unit outputs the current share voltage under negative feedback control. The current share output is corrected by compensating the sampling voltage and reflecting it by a current mirror with a certain ratio, the inconvenience of manually adjusting variable resistor, or the problem of temperature influenced BJT and MOSFET, or phase delay of digital sampling is solved.

Power supply device with improved current balancing mechanism

The redundant power supply device includes a power output port, a converter, a comparator unit and an output protection switch. The output protection switch is electrically connected between an output terminal of the converter and the power output port, and the comparator unit compares the voltage across the output protection switch and controls the output protection switch accordingly. The redundant power supply device has a control module that performs a protection control method. When the voltage of the power output port is higher than a preset voltage value and the output current is lower than a preset current value, the control module outputs a short turn-off signal to the enable terminal of the comparator unit, preventing the comparator unit from failing to perform the output protection as designed due to external abnormal slow rising voltage, and ensuring the redundant power supply unit operates normally.
